I run a small business from my home, which means I am able to give all my dog guests ample attention and time. It also allows me more flexibility to serve my customers’ schedules and any emergencies that come up. I live in a semi-suburban area of the Bronx in the first floor of a house with a small yard and a well-secured fenced. It is perfect for the dogs to play in, sniff about or even sunbathe. For safety’s sake, I monitor the dogs anytime they are in the yard. There is an external gate leading to the front door of my house, which I keep shut to prevent any dogs from running out unexpectedly. Finally, out an abundance of caution, I affix Apple airtags to the collars of all my guest dogs. “Essence is a lifesaver. She watched my 3 year old dog who has separation anxiety for several days while I had long days of work. Every day my dog would refuse to walk home and was so excited to go back! She sent so many pictures of him taking many adventures, even taking him to the beach! She's very responsive and it was a huge relief to me to know my dog was safe and having a great time. I could not recommend her more.”

About: Passionate about providing compassionate. My skills are playing tricks, fetch, sit, down, stay, come. A great way to exercise and build a bond. I like to get to know them. Mornings often begin with feeding, walks (for dogs), or playtime, depending on the pet's needs. Midday might include check-ins, litter box cleaning, or administering medication. Evenings are for meals. I prioritize pet care appointments and dedicate the necessary time. My schedule is open on weekday and weekends, anytime of the day. In my home, I provide a safe, clean environment with personalized routines. In clients' homes, I follow their instructions, respect their property, and provide regular updates. Love and attention are always included!
About: I grew up in a family who loved and hosted multiple breeds of dogs and cats. Pets deserve someone like myself to fill in to be cared for. I am available for walks and sitting on weekends/ It is important though, that dogs not be incessant barkers, as I live in an apartment. Dogs must be trained to walk outside and/or use wee pads seamlessly. Dogs will be walked, fed, entertained and loved. Cats must not be destructive to furniture or other pets. I have been a dog mom for decades so I am very in tune with safety and fun for the pets .
“I was so worried to leave my 9 week old puppy with someone so soon, but Elijah reassured me that my puppy would be in good hands. Drop off and pick up were seamless and I received photos throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend!”

“Stephanie and Corey were so lovely. Kept me updated throughout the day and immediately greeted my pup with the love that reassured me I was leaving her in good hands. Will be seeing them again soon!”

Country Club dog parents share their Rover experiences
Highly recommend Dean! His communication style is professional & caring. He eased all my anxiety as it was difficult leaving my new puppy in someone’s care. He gives updates, is prompt, and even helped my pup socialize with trusted dogs. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter! I’ll be booking again.

Daisy did well with our kid. There was information provided about her plans for his stay. Her updates corresponded with what she told us. Our dog was happy. We know his temperament very well if he has a good experience vs a not so good one. He was content. Updates on our pup is of huge importance. Transparency is equally important and can serve as a deal breaker when leaving our dog with anyone. Daisy followed through with what she communicated. We received updates and text responses. Overall a good experience. Will consider her services again for our baby.

It's always scary asking someone to watch your pet, Ashley is great, no hesitation leaving our pup with her. Constant updates throughout the day and a happy pup when we picked her up. We'll continue using Ashley to watch our pup and don't hesitate to recommend her to others.
