“We had a wonderful experience! This family took excellent care of our mini goldendoodle while we were on vacation—so kind, attentive, and thoughtful. They sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave us total peace of mind and showed he was happy and having fun. Highly recommend!”

“Just picked up Roux from what I fondly refer to as "Camp Cleda". While happy to see me, I think he is always a bit sad to leave his second home. This was a 2 week trip and I always worry a bit. But Cleda continues to be responsive, kind, and Roux loves her. So thankful!”

“Mary took our dog for our wedding weekend and she was great! Pugsy had a great time with her dog, going on a walk, and going to the dog park! She sent pictures and we did not worry about Pugsy at all! We will definitely book with Mary in the future!”

“Jennifer and her family took amazing care of Finn. Also, their dog is super sweet and played well with my dog. Cant wait to have Jennifer sit Finn again soon!”

“Edith is a fantastic! My dog Maxx absolutely loves spending time with her. She keeps me well informed with regular updates and photos, so I never worry when I’m away. Edith is also very flexible with my schedule and has been very accommodating. I feel completely comfortable leaving Maxx in her care. Being new to Madison, we were lucky to have found her.”

“Kristin, Bruce and family are so caring with great attention to the pet’s needs. This was the first time we left our dog with a non-family member and were so pleased to have such a fantastic family to care for her. Couldn’t recommend them enough!! Thank you sooooo much!!!”

“Michelle was amazing! She was super responsive and the boys seemed like they had a great time. She kept us updated every day with messages and pictures. We would definitely go back :)”

“Robert was a great host for Mazzi. He sent daily updates/photos. Robert has a large backyard that Mazzi loved to run around during play time.”

“First time staying with Christine, - our dog Toph felt right at home and we felt very safe leaving her while on vacation. Our dog had an incident right before we left so I definitely had some anxiety being away from her so shortly after. Christine updated us frequently and shared advice from her experience as a dog trainer/handler. Her dogs were wonderful playmates and allowed our dog to make new friends. Overall took excellent care and truly cared about our dog as if it were her own.”

About: Hiello! I’m a lifelong animal lover and UW medical student with over a decade of hands-on experience caring for my own pets—my cat Aya (10 years) and my Italian Greyhound, Artemis (4+ years). I understand that every animal has a unique personality and needs, and I treat each pet in my care with the same patience, gentleness, and attentiveness I give my own. You can trust that your pet will be safe, deeply cared for, and truly loved while you’re away. I also have training in BLS for med school and have handled medical care for my own pets when needed. As I'm already walking my own dog and taking him out regularly, adding another dog (or dogs) to the mix is no problem! :) I am an MD/PhD student currently in my PhD years and have flexible hours for work. I can board dogs, but won't be able to board other cats (although I can do any drop-ins throughout the week). I am available for drop-ins any day except Tuesday night between 5-8pm, but I could do afterwards if needed. In my apartment, pets are cared for in a calm, structured, and loving environment. I have multiple spaces available so pets can have quiet downtime or separation if they need it, while still feeling safe and comfortable. My dog is very friendly and enjoys the company of other animals, but I always prioritize each pet’s individual comfort and boundaries. I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and rest—and provide plenty of affection and supervision. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and maintain your pet’s normal schedule to help them feel secure and stress-free.
“I am very satisfied with the care that Grace provided to my dog Goldie. She took good care of her and sent pictures along with updates during her stay. I would recommend Grace and would certainly request her again the next time Goldie needs to be boarded.”

“We always feel so comfortable whenever Ryan, Jocelyn and there two girls watch Turbo! We know how well he is being taken care of and he loves it too!”

“Julie was so good with our Lucy! She is very good with dogs and she made sure that her dog and Lucy were both safe and played well together. Julie clearly has experience with dogs, dog behavior and training. We felt very comfortable leaving Lucy in her care.”

“Gina is great! We did a meet and greet first so her and my dogs could get acquainted, and to make sure it would be safe for all. She sent me pics of my boys while I was away and I really appreciated that! She treated my boys like her own fur babies! I highly recommend Gina! 5 stars for sure!”
“Emily was great. She had quick communication and accepted my booking fast. I needed my buddy boarded for a few hours the next day due to a job interview and didn't have many options. Emily had great communication and was easy to work with. I would recommend her to others in the future. I just hope Rudy treated her well.”

“Sofi took incredible care of our girl! She was always responsive and sent us frequent updates where I could see how happy Kiwi was. She is very knowledgeable about pet care and I would trust her with Kiwi anytime! Thank you again for giving so much love to Kiwi!!”

Woodlands dog parents share their Rover experiences
Huge thank you for taking such wonderful care of my puppy while I was away, it’s a relief to know she was in such good hands. I really appreciate the care and attention you gave her, love all of the pictures and the flexibility for pickup and drop off. Thanks again!!!

Meaghan and her husband are very kind people with a beautiful home and a large fenced-in backyard. Meaghan was very good about sending a lot of pictures and updates throughout our dog’s stay and we felt very comfortable having our dog stay in their home. They have a very sweet dog of their own that my dog quickly bonded with, and they were playful together. Highly recommend!

Karen did a great job in taking care of our Nakia. She is 13 years old and this is the first time she has stayed with someone she did not know. Karen kept us informed about her and sent frequent pictures. Made us feel secure in knowing she was well cared for. We are thankful for Karen’s wonderful care that she does with love. Dottie

Brooke watched my dog for me for a few days. She send me pics, videos and updates about my dog. I felt at ease that my dog is at good hands and being taken care of. I would definitely use Brooke again to watch him. Brooke genuinely care about the furry babies she is watching.
