“Super nice family and home with fenced yard. We needed someone on short notice due to a family emergency. Katie and Samuel offered to be flexible with our return date which we greatly appreciated. Juneau seemed to have done fine.”

“Very friendly and dependable. Timely communication, and great pictures and updates during the stay. Confident that Louie got lots of attention, exercise, doggy socialization, and love.”

“Excellent! I really appreciated all the updates and photos from Stefanie. Great communication and flexible with drop off and pick up times. Will definitely use again in future.”

“Kristin & Bruce were great hosts for our Corgi, JJ. This was our first time using Rover and they made the entire process easy, from drop off to pickup. They provided updates along with photos during his 30 hour stay. Would definitely book with them again and will recommend to others in the future. Thanks again for everything.”

“Edith was great with our puppy Artemis! We were able to meet beforehand for a short notice meet and greet before the holidays. Artemis got along really well with her two dogs and it seemed like he was having a lot of fun throughout the day- he came back exhausted and happy to see us after a couple of weeks, but we could tell that he was well taken care of. Edith sent frequent picture updates, and we felt like he was in good hands the whole time. I would definitely book Artemis here again in the future!”

“Michelle was wonderful. She is super kind and so is her husband, Kevin. They handled my dog and his anxiety perfectly, couldn’t have asked for a better spot to board my dog :) he will definitely be my new go to when I need to go out of town!”

“Our quirky rescue pup was so well taken care of while we were away! In every update we got it was clear that our dog was feeling more and more comfortable and was left in good hands. We will definitely book again!”

“Cleda was very flexible when my dog’s care needs changed due to an injury that occurred a few days before she was to be boarded. Cleda was very accommodating and I was able to relax while away knowing my dog was in good hands. She got lots of one on one attention from Cleda which is exactly what she needed. Cleda also made arrangements to limit my dog’s physical activity, which was ordered by the vet after the injury. I will definitely be booking again!”

“Mary and her family were absolutely wonderful sitters for Grizzy! They took great care of him during a cold snap, making sure he was warm and comfortable. Mary sent wonderful updates and absolutely adorable pictures, and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Robert did an excellent job hosting our dog for a week at his house. We received regular updates with photos and he was incredibly responsive, always replying in a timely fashion. When we first met, he struck me as a true "dog person" which is what we wanted! I would recommend Robert to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Becky and Judd have treated Neko so well and if he was there own! They have worked with us on short notice stays, and always keep me updated on how well he’s doing! Neko loves going over there to be watched by their family!”

About: We love our dogs! We love to be outside in our fenced in yard, throwing a ball or frisbee. We live in a neighborhood that has sidewalks so we often go for long walks. My partner works from home and is a huge dog lover. I work during the week but am around all weekend. We can accommodate around requests We let our dogs roam around the house and the fenced I. Yard. We can crate if needed but we typically do not. We do not allow dogs in beds. Please note the we have a 6 year old, so any dogs we sit need to be good around children
“Jessica and her kiddos were great to my dog! He got along well with her doggos and she kept them all super active! Really appreciated all the pictures and updates while I was gone. Would 100%book with her again!”

“We couldn’t be happier with Sophia’s care for our dog Shorty! From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with. Her communication throughout the entire stay was outstanding — she regularly checked in and sent photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Knowing Shorty was in great hands made all the difference to us. Most importantly, Shorty came home happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which says everything about the care Sophia provided. We highly recommend Sophia. We hope to book with her again!”

“Olivia was great with our senior dog. She was very responsive throughout the process, sending daily updates, which we loved receiving. I highly recommend her and will be reaching out again when I'm in need.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we could not be happier with the care Emily and her family gave our dog, Bob. It was clear from the start that he was in kind and attentive hands. Emily shared photos during our trip, which meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind. Knowing Bob was happy and well cared for made it much easier to be away. We will absolutely use Emily again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for loving, reliable care for their pet.”

Appalachian Ridge dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our fur baby Beau is part of our family, so when we have to leave him w/ a sitter, it's very difficult. That feeling is offset by the way Jesse cares for him. You can tell by the way he bounds into her house & the pictures/videos she shares that he's having a great time. Beau approves this message!

Marina really made me feel my boy was safe and in good hands. She was very patient/flexible with me too, as my plans changed many times during my very chaotic, stressful week away. I arrived back home four days later than planned and she was able to accommodate the ever evolving day of my return, which I feel horrible about. Glad to have found her.

Robert was fantastic!!! We had two dogs (6 and 1) stay with him for 12/13 days. Admittedly the 6 year old is pretty easy but the 1 year old is not. He did a great job! We got updates every day. He's got a really nice set up for the dogs to run in his back yard. This is a guy who knows dogs and is great with them!

Shorty had another great stay thanks to Sophia’s tender care. Sophia shared photos and updates, and Shorty came home happy and well taken care of. We especially appreciated Sophia keeping Shorty calm through the horrendous storms that passed through our area while we were away.

Christine always takes such incredible care of my girls, Laynie and Nell. I never have to worry when they’re with her because I know they’re loved, exercised, and treated like part of the family. She’s attentive, communicative, and clearly understands their personalities. It means so much to have someone I trust completely with them. Laynie and Nell are always happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I get home. We’re so grateful to have found her!

Jack just stayed with Gabriella for the first time and I couldn't be more grateful for how good she was with him! Jack has separation anxiety and gets nervous meeting new people and being away from me. Heck, I get anxious too, but Gabriella and her boyfriend made us both feel completely at ease. Jack had 25/7 company and was given accommodations to ensure he was comfortable. I was given plenty of updates on how he was doing and he seemed to be enjoying his time the whole visit with lots of play time and affection. Upon bringing him home I could just tell how content he was with his stay. He wasn't overly anxious to see me which is amazing in comparison to other times he's stayed away from home. I felt completely confident he was in safe and loving hands the entire visit and would absolutely go to Gabriella in the future for pet sitting needs. Thanks again so much for taking such great care of my little guy!
