I own a home on the west side of Madison with a large fenced in yard to run around in. I also have a 4 year old beagle who loves to chase and is very very social with other dogs. My house is extremely dog friendly. I have bedrooms gated off but lots of cozy places to lay down in the living room when they’re not playing outside. I usually work in the living room as well so the dogs are always nearby. Please give a specific drop off/pick up window so I can plan my day and know when to expect you. It is important for me that you are on time for drop off and pick up as well. If you are going to be late, a quick message with your new ETA helps a ton!

Typically I just like to know where your dog sleeps at home so I can make them comfortable here at night. If they sleep in a dog bed, you are welcome to bring that for them. Please let me know if your dog is an especially skilled escape artist (my beagle is!) so I can take extra precautions when using the front door.

I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and have a lot of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different personalities and energy levels. I currently have a friendly 6-year-old beagle who loves making friends and playing with other pups.

Cub had an amazing time staying with Lee for an extended weekend. We got daily updates and pictures/videos, and Lee has a great fenced in backyard for dogs to run around and play in. He was also very flexible with drop off and pickup times which was extremely convenient.
Lee was great with our high-energy dogs. They clearly had a lot of fun in his large fenced-in yard, and Lee provided pictures and updates daily! He was also very responsive and flexible when our travel plans changed
I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Lee, and he provided exceptional care. Penny was anxious in the early hours of her stay (first time staying with someone new), but softened quickly in Lee’s loving care. She happily romped around with Lee’s dog, rested, ate, and snuggled his family. I also loved receiving little updates and photos/videos while we were away. I hope Lee will have Penny back in the future because we had a great experience. Highly recommend.
Lee is a great dogsitter and I’d absolutely book with him again. He took great care of my dog and kept things fun with regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. It was clear my dog had a great time, especially getting to play with the other dogs. You can tell Lee genuinely cares and creates a great environment for them. Highly recommend!
