Small Dog Loving Family
We are a family of four that wants to get a dog some day when our children are a bit older. We have two daughters aged 9 and 5. We love to do dog sitting so we can still enjoy a dog in our home. I am a high school teacher and my wife stays home 3 out of 5 days/week with our two young daughters. My wife grew up with Labradors and I grew up with Maltese and Terriers. We cannot wait to have our own dog again. Will your dog be the one to convince us of what type of dog we want for our family? We look forward to meeting you and treating your dog like they are part of our family! Because we do not currently have a dog and only take one dog at a time, your dog will be very well cared for and receive tons of attention and affection! **once in awhile, we may have two bookings that overlap slightly depending on pick-up/drop-off times, but if that happens we will communicate that with you!

Schedule
My wife is home Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with our daughters. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we are gone from 8:30-4:00. If that is too long of a period for your dog to go without a potty break please let us know! I am a teacher at Memorial highschool (just 5 mins from our home) and can easily come home during my lunch break for a quick dog walk!

We have a fenced in yard for your dog to explore. Otherwise, we will let your dog roam anywhere in the house! If needed, we have baby gates and are able to section off parts of our home.

A typical day
We go for daily stroller walks with our daughters and love having a dog to come along with us. Our fenced in yard allows for exploration and space to play fetch. Belly rubs happen frequently with my husband who is often found laying on the ground with the dogs we care for! Our 7 year old daughter provides endless opportunities for fun but also knows when to give a dog some space! Our 3 year old loves snuggling dogs who are willing to let her! We will text as much or as little as you would like during your dog’s stay. We always want you to feel free to ask us any questions. We will provide daily pictures and updates and do all that we can to make you feel comfortable with being away. We will be very transparent with you if we notice any unusual behaviors occurring. Your dog will become one of our family!
