“Virginia was fantastic. We had a meet and greet before we left and she was wonderful with our dog. We got daily updates with photos and video while we were away and it was obvious she really cared. She absolutely put our minds at ease while we were away.”

2. Sarah M.

“Sarah is absolutely amazing! We have three dogs, one with orthopedic issues, one that is quite exuberant, and one that is nervous around new people. Sarah was patient with our introduction routine, and put our nervous dog at ease almost instantly. She was also great with coming to walk the dogs a few times, to make sure things continued to go smoothly, before staying with them while we were out of town. Our pack can be a handful, which often makes it hard to feel like we can leave them in someone else’s care, but we were never worried about Sarah! While we were gone, Sarah’s frequent updates were so wonderful and reassuring. We could see that the pups were really fond of her company, even Calvin gave her some of his much-coveted attention! She handled all the individualized instructions with ease, and was great about getting everyone out during breaks in the rainy weather. She was also so attentive, noticing that our dog Charlotte’s brace was rubbing, and giving us a heads up. We can’t wait to continue working with Sarah in the future. She’s a lifesaver!”

3. Alyson D.

“Alyson is amazing. Very responsive before we met, and very open about her schedule. Once we met her, our boy Koda loved her immediately. Once Alyson took the job, I felt Koda was in good hands. Koda is diabetic and requires a shot twice daily. I was given daily reports and pics even tho I didn't ask. If I could give Alyson a higher rating, I would. I will definitely ask her to watch my dog again. Look no further if you need a caring person to look after you fur baby.”

4. Melanie P.
“Hello! I want to say that Melanie has cared for my two bassett hounds in the most amazing way. She tends to all their needs, and fills them with love and care. I recommend her services and can attest to the excellent care and utmost dedication she gives to our fur babies.”

5. Kendall D.
About: I’ve had at least one dog in my household since the age of 5. I’ve handled different kinds of dog personalities, breeds, and sizes. Calm, reactive, old, young - I’ve seen it all! I’m currently the mom of 2 pit-mix rescues who are spoiled beyond belief. I regularly pet sit for friends, so I’m joining Rover to help out more people! I work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch break. I work remotely twice a week and am in Woodland the other 3 days. I have the flexibility to do check-ins and short walks on my hour lunch break, and more during my remote work days and weekends. In my home, my 2 medium sized dogs are crate trained and get 2 walks per day. We live in an apartment so I am used to having to take them out to the bathroom. They are fed twice per day, 1 hour after returning from a walk. I am very aware of the risks of bloat in large breeds, so I always look out for that! When I dogsit for friends and family, I’ve seen varying needs depending on the dog’s personality. I understand dog reactivity and am sensitive towards the needs of each individual pup.

6. Mariella R.

“Mariella is an excellent pet sitter, we could not have asked for a better first time experience. She is very attentive to both the pet's and the owner's needs; from the meet and greet to the when we got home after our trip. I would highly recommend the use of her services for any future trips. Thanks again Mariella, you are the best.”

8. Anabelle S.
“My dogs love Anabelle. She is very calm and fun. They especially like her glow in the dark chuck it ball! When I get back from vacation I am a little worried my dogs miss her more than me!”

9. Wendy & Christopher W.

“Chris did a great job taking care of our 3 Great Pyrenees and African Gray parrot at our house. When we got home, the house was clean and the pups were very happy. Also, we appreciated that our shy, older female took to him really quickly. Will be using Chris and Wendy again!”

10. Sammi C.

12. Hannah G.

“Here’s a draft for your review: Hannah is an exceptional pet sitter! Our dog usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but Hannah’s calm and patient demeanor quickly put her at ease. She went above and beyond by providing regular updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. On top of taking great care of our pup, she also helped with our plants, which was a huge bonus. We’ve already booked her for our next trip and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter. Thank you, Hannah!”

“I had to go away to college for a few months when I was living on campus and Maria was there for my fur babies back in my home town. 18. kasey l.

“Kasey came to our rescue when our sitter canceled a day before our weekend trip. She did an awesome job of watching our dogs Barnaby and Florence, and our cat over the course of a weekend. She was very communicative and provided multiple updates with pictures. I'm always hesitant of new people watching our dogs because they're big and can be a bit annoying, but Kasey managed both very well. Will definitely reach out again!”

19. Sarah V.

“We had a wonderful experience with Sarah. Our huskies had a fantastic time, and we were so pleased with the level of care they received. Sarah was very communicative, sending us regular updates and pictures of our dogs enjoying their time. It was clear that they were well taken care of and happy. Highly recommend! We’ll be booking with her in the future!”

20. Rayna D.
“Rayna is a wonderful dog sitter. Not only did she have a 13 year old Pitt bill she took care of at home but she would go out of her way to babysit an additional set of dogs for another family during their family trips. She is very responsible and loves all living creatures especially dogs. She would be a great addition to Rover.”
