“Virginia was fantastic. We had a meet and greet before we left and she was wonderful with our dog. We got daily updates with photos and video while we were away and it was obvious she really cared. She absolutely put our minds at ease while we were away.”

“Sarah is absolutely amazing! We have three dogs, one with orthopedic issues, one that is quite exuberant, and one that is nervous around new people. Sarah was patient with our introduction routine, and put our nervous dog at ease almost instantly. She was also great with coming to walk the dogs a few times, to make sure things continued to go smoothly, before staying with them while we were out of town. Our pack can be a handful, which often makes it hard to feel like we can leave them in someone else’s care, but we were never worried about Sarah! While we were gone, Sarah’s frequent updates were so wonderful and reassuring. We could see that the pups were really fond of her company, even Calvin gave her some of his much-coveted attention! She handled all the individualized instructions with ease, and was great about getting everyone out during breaks in the rainy weather. She was also so attentive, noticing that our dog Charlotte’s brace was rubbing, and giving us a heads up. We can’t wait to continue working with Sarah in the future. She’s a lifesaver!”

“Alyson is amazing. Very responsive before we met, and very open about her schedule. Once we met her, our boy Koda loved her immediately. Once Alyson took the job, I felt Koda was in good hands. Koda is diabetic and requires a shot twice daily. I was given daily reports and pics even tho I didn't ask. If I could give Alyson a higher rating, I would. I will definitely ask her to watch my dog again. Look no further if you need a caring person to look after you fur baby.”

About: I’ve had at least one dog in my household since the age of 5. I’ve handled different kinds of dog personalities, breeds, and sizes. Calm, reactive, old, young - I’ve seen it all! I’m currently the mom of 2 pit-mix rescues who are spoiled beyond belief. I regularly pet sit for friends, so I’m joining Rover to help out more people! I work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch break. I work remotely twice a week and am in Woodland the other 3 days. I have the flexibility to do check-ins and short walks on my hour lunch break, and more during my remote work days and weekends. In my home, my 2 medium sized dogs are crate trained and get 2 walks per day. We live in an apartment so I am used to having to take them out to the bathroom. They are fed twice per day, 1 hour after returning from a walk. I am very aware of the risks of bloat in large breeds, so I always look out for that! When I dogsit for friends and family, I’ve seen varying needs depending on the dog’s personality. I understand dog reactivity and am sensitive towards the needs of each individual pup.
