About: Besides caring for my own dog for nearly 13 years, including nearly a year of hospice care, I also have experience volunteering at animal sanctuaries and cat-sitting for roommates and neighbors. I consider companion animals to be family members, and the care I provide reflects that belief. I work from home, and my schedule is flexible, so I’m easily able to accommodate anything an animal in my care needs. I can provide multiple walks, feedings, and potty breaks a day, whether at your house or mine. Because I work remotely, I’m able to keep your dog or cat company all day. I have a fenced backyard, though it’s small, and I live near a dog park. I have a small crate and a larger soft-sided kennel that can be used if that’s something that makes your dog feel more comfortable; otherwise, pets are free to roam and are welcomed on furniture. I have steps to help smaller or senior dogs get on the couch, and there’s a dog bed in every room of my house. I only board for one client at a time, so your dog(s) will have my full attention while you're away, and you'll never have to worry about interactions with other pets. In addition to the Rover Guarantee, I'm also private insured as a pet-sitter through PCI, so your pets are well-covered.

About: I've cared for many pets since I was 8 yrs old. I earn pets trust easily & will care for them like they are my own. I've done multiple overnights with pets & the owners keep asking for me back. I have a dog of my own for 9 years, which I had potty trained him in a month, and he is versed in multiple commands. I have worked with puppies to senior dogs and the same for kittens to senior cats. I have also taken care of multiple pets with special needs and/or requirements that were met really well according to their owners. Lastly, I love photography and am pretty decent with capturing photos of pets. I have a pretty open schedule. I can make multiple trips over or stay over depending on the needs required. I understand the need for constant potty breaks throughout the day and have much experience with walking a dog. I will care for your pet like it is my own with love, intentially, compassion, and trust. I will make individual time for each pet providing love, care, and affection based on the level the client and pet are comfortable with. I would like to set up a meeting with the owner/s and pet/s in person to get a better idea of what is being asked of me and get to know everyone involved especially your pet/s first before I can agree to care and services. This gives me a better idea if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for and provide extra attention to. Also if there is specific routines you have in place for your pet/s that I can try to learn and follow to provide the best experience for your pet/pets, while giving the owner/s peace of mind while they are gone. I am a hard-worker and detail-oriented. I strive to complete every task required of me and am respectful of other's space, home, and belongs. My general practice is to try to keep a place neat and tidy, by clean up after myself, and after a pet/s, such as picking up dog poop and will also consider cleaning up puke.

Now, with my own furry family members – 2 cats – I understand firsthand the bond we share with our pets. When your pet is with me, they're not just a client; they're part of my extended fur family. Let's make their time away from home as fun and comfortable as possible! I am available weekdays 4 PM - 8 PM, Friday nights, and all day on weekends — your pet's care is my top priority, ensured! About: Some people innately connect with animals. Maybe this cannot be taught or learned. Even those animals who "don't like anyone" like me. It's a gift. Perhaps they can tell I'm a gentle giant and it makes them feel safe and protected. Whether cat or dog or some other creatures, I will lavish affection and attention on them (if they're into that). Or simply let them call the shots until they're ready to warm up a bit more. As a large, fit dude, I can manage even the strongest dogs, but I'm nimble and delicate with the smaller ones and cats. It comes naturally, and your pets will sense it. Summertime affords more flexibility for me as a teacher. I do have another PT gig currently on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the afternoons. But I'm mostly available the other 5 days for now, and am willing to spend time with your pets before and after shifts on days I work. For many years, I've cared for dozens of friends' pets. Long before Rover existed, I was a resident car provider in my community. Everyone knows I am reliable, professional, responsive, and flexible. Clean, sober, non-smoker.

About: I’ve had at least one dog for 13 years and two dogs for 5 of those. My girlfriend has 4 cats. I love all my animals! Easy or hard, it doesn’t matter. I’ll take on a challenge because all pets deserve maximum love and care. I am working full time during the week right now, but weekends are wide open. There is no time that does not work for me! When I walk dogs, I will be fully vigilant of their behavior, mood, and surroundings. When I do drop in visits, I will follow all instructions given to me by pet parents. I will give all animals love and respect.

About: I have been surrounded by cats since I was a baby. I currently have two cats and would love to take care of yours like it was mine! I was trying to make a cat only profile but I could not find the only option. I'm currently trying to build a playpen out of my garage to board cats only. Each cat will have a big size enclosure and have individual brakes to play and roam around the playpen by himself. I plan to keep them separate from other possible guest cats to avoid any physical confrontation. You can bring your own food, toys and bed. About: Since I was 16 years old, I have cared for and pet sat for dogs. Over the last 20 years I’ve had two of my own dogs that I got when they were six weeks old. I believe a happy focused, dedicated puppy stage (with lots of treats) makes for a loving, caring obedient, joyful dog to be able to live their best life. Enjoying all the things they were created for. I look forward to helping your dog enjoy their time at home while you are on vacation. A side note to add is I am a mother of 4 and I have two younger boys ages 13 and 11 who will be taking turns to attend with me during my visits as a teaching opportunity for more skills with different dogs. I am a stay at home mom with four kids. My children’s ages range from 22-11yrs. My stage of life provides for many opportunities to be able to share my time to help care for animals while providing moments to teach my children how to care for others. We have a large fenced yard, and are happy to also help with crating if needed. Daily walks and feedings are built into are routine. Having this same routine allows for us to easily help others with the same needs.

About: I grew up with dogs and would oftentimes feed and walk them. I also helped my friends take care of their pets and pet sat for them as well. I am free anytime Fridays-Sundays and can stop by in the mornings and afternoons before, after, and in between classes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher but I can still make them work. I like to spend as much time with them as I can, either sitting with them, playing with them, going out for walks, and feeding them at times instructed by the owners. I also often like to do chores such as sweeping/vacuuming and tidying up spaces in the house.

About: I have multiple years experience working in dog boarding facilities, as well as small animal veterinary clinics. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and welfare, and am able to confidently care for many different types of personalities. I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. I commute from Esparto to Davis/Woodland daily and am easily able to make stops anywhere near this commute. I believe in keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and following given instructions as closely as possible. I operate under the principle that as a sitter, I should do everything (and more) for someone else’s pet that I would expect a sitter to do for my own pets.
