About: Besides caring for my own dog for nearly 13 years, including nearly a year of hospice care, I also have experience volunteering at animal sanctuaries and cat-sitting for roommates and neighbors. I consider companion animals to be family members, and the care I provide reflects that belief. I work from home, and my schedule is flexible, so I’m easily able to accommodate anything an animal in my care needs, any time of day. Because I work remotely, I’m able to keep your dog or cat company all day while house-sitting. I'll stay at your home so your pets can keep their normal routine, environment, and yard. For drop-ins and walks, my flexible schedule allows me to stop by multiple times for walks, meals, potty breaks, playtime, or just hanging out. In addition to the Rover Guarantee, I'm also privately insured as a pet-sitter through PCI, so your pets are well-covered.

About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.

About: I have been surrounded by cats since I was a baby. I currently have two cats and would love to take care of yours like it was mine! I was trying to make a cat only profile but I could not find the only option. I'm currently trying to build a playpen out of my garage to board cats only. Each cat will have a big size enclosure and have individual brakes to play and roam around the playpen by himself. I plan to keep them separate from other possible guest cats to avoid any physical confrontation. You can bring your own food, toys and bed. About: My experience with animals goes far beyond pet sitting. I began volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center at age 10 and continued through age 16, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care. I went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology. I’ve also worked in multiple veterinary clinics as a surgical assistant and spent a year working in animal control. These experiences have given me hands-on experience handling animals, recognizing changes in behavior, following care instructions, and staying calm in unexpected situations. My days can include walks, outdoor time, play, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention, while also making sure pets have time to relax and feel comfortable. I’m intentional about keeping each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, including their feeding, exercise, and rest schedules. I also enjoy being active outdoors, so dogs who love walks and adventures will have plenty of opportunities to get their energy out! Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, habits, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions before their stay. My background in wildlife rehabilitation, veterinary clinics, and animal control has taught me how important it is to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something is out of the ordinary. I’m comfortable handling animals with different personalities and energy levels and understand the importance of patience, supervision, and a calm environment. I also love keeping dogs active with walks, play, enrichment, and outdoor time when appropriate. Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and care for them with the same attentiveness and respect I would want for my own. I have my own fenced in yard and a large sized kennel in my home if needed.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, usually two at a time, so walking a pair or keeping up with a high-energy pup feels pretty normal to me. In college I watched friends' dogs on the weekends, and honestly I still jump at any excuse to hang out with one. I'm active and spend a lot of my free time outside, so your dog will get real walks and plenty of playtime, plus some downtime when they're ready to crash. Puppies, big dogs, little dogs, they're all welcome. I'm dependable, I pay attention to the small stuff, and I'll send you photos and updates so you're never left wondering how things are going. I work a regular weekday job, so I'm free weekday evenings after 4:30 and pretty much all day on weekends. I'm also happy to squeeze in an early morning walk before work if your pup needs one. Evenings and weekends are when I'm out walking, hitting the park, and just hanging out. I come to you, so your dog gets to stay home with their own bed, their own smells, and their normal routine. I'll stick to your feeding schedule, meds, and house rules exactly, keep them leashed on walks, and lock up every time I leave. I never take on more than two dogs at once, so nobody gets ignored. You'll get photos and a quick update every visit, and if anything ever seems off, I'll reach out right away.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child. I have a 17 year old dorkie (dachshund/yorkshire terrier mix) at home that I love very much! I've used my free time to volunteer at animal shelters and would love another way to interact with animals while I attend law school. I attend law school so before and after class, as well on the weekends, I am available! I can be even more flexible on days that I don't have class. As I have my own pet I know to make sure to pay attention to whatever they want and need whether it's food, play time, nap time, or to go outside!

I have been retired for 5 years now. I would love to be able to take care of someone’s animal. Whether it be just a few walks or just checking in on them to make sure they are safe and happy. I am currently available 7 days a week! 24/7. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to cater to your specific time frames needed. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things tidy while giving your pet consistent care and companionship. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well taken care of. During walks and visits, I focus on safety, using secure leashes and staying aware of surroundings, while also making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks. About: I’ve taken care of dogs in the home, & even a guinea pig!! I, also, have several years of experience in childcare and elderly care. I’m currently working during the day time, but not scheduled every week. I am available after 5 pm on weekdays & available anytime on weekends! I will follow each pet’s routine closely, as you wish. I will feed them on schedule, provide walks, playtime, and also medication if needed. I will clean up after them as necessary, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in your home!

About: I have been a dog lover ever since I was young and I got my first dog when I was 7. I took care of him until he left me. I feel like all animals around me are my best friends. I also volunteered in a non governmental organization in the Philippines to help out with animals who are in need and needs love and attention. Interned in a pet clinic which taught me how to prepare their medicine and inject them in their IV lines If only I could adopt all those animals who need a home I would rush to any animal shelter and provide everything they need. I think that’s what makes me different from other sitters and walkers because in the future I want to be a veterinarian and save animals. It has been my dream to help these lovely creatures. I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant who works Monday to Friday. I have an hour lunch so if its close or they are staying with me, I can swing by and check in on them. During weekends, I am available. I provide a safe environment by dog/cat proofing my place. I am very particular about making sure they don’t get into absolutely anything. These pets are treated like my own. Under my watch, they are treated the best care they possibly can get.
