If the dog is reactive, I will not take them out on walks for both mine and the animal’s safety. However, like my own pet, I will designate a play time to help expend energy in the safety & familiarity of the home. For cats: it's really whatever the cat is comfortable with. I will make sure that they have a clean litter box every night. Regardless of pet, I make sure they are fed on time with fresh water available. To ensure a stress-free time while mom and/or dad are away, I am willing to adapt to cater to the pet's comfortability.
