About: I have always been an animal lover and understand that pets are part of the family. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m a proud dog owner of Aslan, a Chihuahua-Poodle mix, and I know how important it is to provide patience, love, attention, and a safe environment. I’m currently open from Mon- Friday from 10am- 7pm. Whatever your dogs needs I’m there for it. I will be available most of days except the weekends in the morning. I have a fenced yard and I do allow dogs to go on the furniture and bed. I also have extra leashes and blankets if needed.
About: I have owned cats all of my life and owned dogs the last 25 years of my life. I have owned a 70 pound Sulcata Tortoise and chickens as well. I currently have a two dogs in my home who are dog and cat friendly. I am retired so my schedule is very open. I am doing this to keep myself busy and happy as well as your animals! Cookie is extremely shy and has a lot of anxiety around new people, so leaving her while we were away was something we were honestly very nervous about. Elizabeth immediately gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly patient, attentive, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She understood that Cookie needed space and allowed her to warm up at her own pace, while still finding little ways to build trust and make her comfortable. By the end of the stay, Cookie was following her around, letting her brush her, and even rolling over for belly rubs, which is a huge deal for her! Elizabeth also communicated with us constantly, sending detailed updates, pictures and videos, and letting us know about everything from eating and potty breaks to small changes she noticed. We never once had to wonder how Cookie was doing. It was very clear that Elizabeth genuinely cared about Cookie and treated her like her own. Being away from an anxious dog can be stressful, but knowing Elizabeth was with her allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip. “Anam was incredible. She met with me and my 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer pup before our doggy sitting day and asked a ton of questions about my dog and her habits. Things I wouldn't have even of thought of to tell her, but important to having a smooth doggy sitting day. She actually suggested to doggy sit at my house instead of hers so that my pup would not feel stressed out in a new environment with a new person. I didn't even think of that, but it was a very valid point. I also have 2 cats. They would have been fine for the day, but she played with them too. Keep in mind, the day I needed her to doggy sit was Thanksgiving. She sacrificed her holiday to hang out with my animals. My dog has a knack for jumping our 6 foot fence so it was necessary to have a sitter. She even began to teach her how to fetch among other things. She doggy sat for me from 10:30am - 10:30pm. About: I have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was born. Now, I have worked as a vet assistant for 6 years in both general practice and oncology.
