About: Ived taken care and loved many dogs growing up I’m very experienced with dogs of any age, family and friends have replied on me to sit for their pets while away on trips At the moment I’m home all day morning and afternoon, once I’m back at work I will be mostly available afternoons and weekends but willing to make schedule changes I live in an apartment with a small fenced patio but will mostly be taking your fur baby out for walks and potty breaks, I currently do not have any other dogs or cats.

About: i have had my lovely cat for almost 8 years now. i know there's still more to come because some of the things we've gone through are things i didn't expect to happen so soon or at all. the first unexpected journey was taking in another cat while a family member moved. my cat is an only child so having another cat in the house was not fun for him. it took some time for him to get comfortable around the other, but they eventually became friends. another time my cat had a procedure done and to prevent any infection i learned to give him liquid and pill medication.

I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.

About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood and have had the privilege to some part of my family. Besides my own, friends and family have trusted me with feeding and playing with their pets. I’m currently working part time and will have plenty of time to walk. Majority of the time it would include evening walks and sometimes morning ones. I will make sure to plan my walking route ahead of time, in order to avoid any hazards or potential triggers to the dog. Priority is a safe and happy pup, and will make sure not only the pathway is clear but that the dog feels comfortable.

I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks. I love my at home zoo and taking care of everybody, I'd love to share that joy with YOU! I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule to accommodate all YOUR pet's needs! Weekdays are very flexible where-as weekends need a couple days notice. I follow directions diligently and confidently. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and turtles. they were family pets and i learned a lot watching my siblings raise their dogs. i have a 7 year old cat that i've raised since he was a kitten. I have also fostered another cat for a few months. although introducing my cat with the foster was time consuming, it was worth to see them get along. I work part time as a barista. i don't have set days off but i work very early mornings. i am also taking a couple online courses, but i go at my own pace so im flexible with afternoons and evenings. just like with little humans, i make sure cleaning supplies, little choking hazards, and toxic foods are stored high in storage closets where my cat can't get into. i vacuum regularly in case i have dropped small pieces of plastic (that my cat loves more than toys for some reason). i will occasionally pet sit for my sister when she is away on vacation. i don't assume i know her pets better than she does, so i have texted her before about a concern i had about her dog. i fed both her pets at the same time, but one refused to eat. instead of assuming that her dog would eventually eat, i reached out to know if there was anything i could do differently and the solution was a change in environment. i would then feed them in separate rooms and that did the trick. i loved sending her pictures of them unprompted and when asked.
About: I’ve taken care of six dogs before coming onto Rover. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, and taking care of dogs of different sizes. I work full-time as a closer at my current job, so I have free-time to be able to take care of animals anytime before 2pm most days. I can do 30 minute visits or longer — whatever you need for your fur baby. I graduated from UC Davis this year, so I’m trying to get hired in the environmental sector to start my career and begin a more typical work schedule. I have an apartment in Woodland where I spend time with my indoor cats. One of my cats is very friendly with people and other cats, but my other cat takes a while to get adjusted to people and other animals, so I only do visits at other people’s places. I treat client’s homes with care, and ensure I do not make any messes or overstep any boundaries.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. Big, small, fluffy, energetic, you name it, i’ve done it. My family is full of animal lovers and I want to spread that love to other people’s animals as well. I have had every variaron of dog you can think of and they’re always my best friend. I do love cats as well, especially if they’re cuddly! My parents gave me responsibility of walking, feeding and bathing our dogs ever since I was 10-11 years old and I’ve loved doing it ever since. I currently work part time and am a student at UCDavis! I am graduating this year so I will have pretty open availability in the summer. My most free days are Wednesday-Thursday, with some availability on the weekends. I currently have a German Shepherd and she is an amazing dog. I try to take her on a a walk at least once a day and save time to play with her in our yard when I get home. When it comes to clients home's, I am a very quick learner and comfortable with doing what care is needed requested by the owners for each pet.
About: I have experience working in dog boarding and daycare caring for a wide variety of dogs. I also have experience as both a kennel technician and veterinary assistant caring for both dogs and cats. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and sizes as well as experience with senior pets and pets with specialized care such as diabetic cats. I am open for overnight sitting, evening pet sitting, sitting for a few hours while you run errands or go on a date, etc! Whether that is taking them for long walks on the beach, giving your anxious pet cuddles and pets, bringing my dog to play with your dog(s) and keep them company, playing fishing with your cats, or whatever I need to do to keep your pets most happy, healthy and comfortable in their home.

About: I am currently a student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to become a vet! I have had pets at home since elementary school including dogs, cats, and chickens. At home I play an integral role caring for each of my pets. My love for animals extends outside of the house as I look to work with animals professionally as a veterinarian.
