About: I have volunteered at animal shelters in WA and worked alongside animal behavioralists to read canine and feline body language to gauge interests, anxiety, and pain levels. I love being able to help my client’s animals reach relaxation without being over stimulated. I’m versed in enrichment activities that alleviate stress and help the animals reconnect with their playful, trusting side! I love to make animals feel like they have a new trusted friend while their pet parents are away and to provide care that makes their owners feel like they're with family. I live near Hanover and have reliable transportation. I have no conflicting agenda items or holidays in the near future. I do gig work to help support my best friend going to Dartmouth and have a flexible, open schedule. I try my best to plan outings with pets when the weather is best for their paws and especially if the dog is a breed prone to heat or breathing issues. I have had animals all my life of various breeds, ages, temperament, and unique needs. I have knowledge and experience through my animal shelter work on what silent pain signals or distress can look like in dogs and cats. I've administered medications before but would prefer to let the animal get to know me before providing injections. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
