About: Hi!! I am a Dartmouth researcher and alumni who loves spending time with animals and getting to know the Upper Valley better by house-sitting! I have a long history of pet care experience from my own pets to my neighbors and friends here in Hanover! I am experienced with senior pets and in administering pet medications! I am a lover of all pets, most of all, dogs AND cats!! I’m currently in-between full time jobs and work short shifts in the restaurant industry, so I am ready and able to care for your pets! I enjoy spending time with pets and your home as if they are my own: with excitement, respect, and cleanliness. I am an extremely active runner and hiker, so I would love to take any opportunity to be active with your pet (if they like!) Walks are my favorite part of the day too!

“Charlotte provided super care to Chance and SnickerDoo including consistent communications and pictures for us. She also left our home clean and secure following our time away. Well Done!”

“Anesa is great. She and Dexter got along famously. We appreciate that she took him on a hike and on playdates with other dogs over the weekend. She also gave us periodic photo updates which were greatly appreciated. We'll definitely rebook the next time we need a sitter!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

“We are so happy Liah was available to take care of our energetic pup! Liah immediately focused her attention on building a relationship with Moosie and we appreciated her obvious love of animals. Liah was responsible, reliable, and considerate.”

“The perfect sitter! Alyssa was willing to come on short notice, came exactly on time, was super communicative, and made sure Brussel got everything she needed!!”

“Josie was great! She was responsive and reached out with any questions that came up. We will definitely book with her again.”

About: I adore dogs! I’ve been dog-sitting for the past five years and have experience with all kinds of pups—energetic, shy, curious, cautious. I love to take dogs on long walks in nature and notice what they notice! Each dog is different, with different needs, and I make sure to make a plan with the owners so I know how best to care for their pet and make everyone feel safe and loved! In early July, I’ll be finishing up a yearlong fellowship but will be sticking around in the Upper Valley until September. Which means my schedule is extremely flexible! I’m able to take on recurring gigs or one-off dog sitting/walking needs. Unfortunately, my apartment doesn’t allow dogs, but I’m happy to stay at yours or take your pup for a very long walk! I find that there’s isn’t one routine that works with every dog. Each dog is different! I like to make a plan with the owner to go through their dog’s needs and get a better understanding of how to best care for their pet! :)

“Armani is a very conscientious dog sitter! She updated me each day, along with sending the cutest pics of our three dogs! She even went and got more dog food from our vet! Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, horses, cows, goats, fish, peacocks, etc. I’m very comfortable with animals of all temperaments. I was a competitive horse back rider, and during that time I took care of my stables other farm animals as well. Nothing phases me when it comes to animals! I am currently working freelance so I am home most of the time. I live with my parents who do have a small dog, but I have my own large living area with plenty of room that I spend most of my time in. I live on a large piece of land with plenty of walking trails, and I’m very serious and safe on keeping my parents small dog separate from any dog I may be watching! I have experience with many different animal personality’s and temperaments. I have cared for animals with anxiety, dog aggression ,food aggression, and separation issues. I am a major problem solver so I have yet to find an issue with a pet that I cannot resolve!

“Lyric was the perfect sitter! She was easy and quick to communicate with, and my kitten was obviously quite at ease with her and well cared for! Don’t hesitate to work with her.”

“Ronan is a very responsible young man and we felt totally secure that all our pets were well care for.”

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. I raised my own dog from puppy to 15 year old senior citizen and have been taking care of my friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for years. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk or a trail run, or your cat needs company while you’re away, I bring the same care and attentiveness to pet care that I bring to the hospital. I understand how important your pets are to your family, and I’m here to treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special diets, and maintaining a calm presence with shy or anxious pets. I currently have a flexible academic schedule and I work hard to fit in pet care throughout the day. I am almost always available first thing in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings and my mid-day availability varies by academic term From walks to house-sits, I follow the simple tenants of 1)“treat every animal as if they were my own” and 2) “treat everyone’s homes with the utmost respect”. Pet owners know best what their animals need so my top goal is providing whatever care that may be, safely, and in the environment that best suits each pet and owner.
