“Murphy had such a blast with Joe! He came home happy and fluffy! He usually resists going to a kennel so we decided to try this approach! Will definitely do this again! Loved seeing his pics and getting updates! A total 5-star experience!!”

“Cara is the best dog sitter. Our Goldendoodle loved her stay so much, which I could tell by the daily pictures sent and communication from Cara. We look forward to more visits when/if we travel in the future!”

“Christina and Jason say that 'while your dog is with us, your dog is our dog', and they really mean it. They truly understand and love dogs. There is absolutely nothing else I could want in a pet sitter. I am so grateful to have found them. My dog is pretty darn happy about it too.”

“Hannah saved my wedding day!! Our scheduled dog sitter (not from Rover) cancelled on us two days before our out-of-state wedding, and Hannah not only filled in last minute, she might be our pups favorite person💖 She is incredibly warm, they took to her immediately, and we were so grateful 🙏 Got lots of photos of them just relaxing around her and were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. Thanks so much, Hannah!!”

“Sam was great with our two pups this weekend! We have a 10 month old extrovert and a 5 year old introvert, and she was able to accommodate both personalities so well! They’re both home, happy, and tired- just how we like it!”

“Michelle was terrific! Ellie stayed with her for Thanksgiving weekend and came home happy and tired! She was well-loved and Michelle kept us updated with pics and videos… and was super responsive and proactive before and during the entire experience. Thank you Michelle!”

“I felt very comfortable, safe, and secure with my dog Tubbs in Abbie’s care. She has great communication, is kind and caring, and Tubbs was in the best mood when I picked him up (I’m not certain he wanted to leave!). Highly recommend, will definitely rebook!”

“Steve and Keely took amazing care of my 11-month old black lab Rain. Their lab Sabra and Rain became fast friends and played together constantly during her 2-day stay. Rain had plenty of room inside and had daily walks and outside time as well. Steve sent me photos and updates throughout her stay. I have already rebooked with Steve for a weeklong trip I am taking next week. I can’t recommend him enough.”

“Benjamin and Laura did such a wonderful job taking care our 4-year-old dog over a holiday weekend. They were professional, responsible, kind, and flexible. They were also very responsive, quickly responding to our questions/comments and sending frequent text updates and pictures, which really put us at ease while we were out of town. Our dog had a fantastic time with and got along well with their two dogs. We highly recommend Benjamin and Laura to anyone looking for a dogsitter in the area, and we would absolutely use them again the next time we're in need of a dogsitter. Thank you for everything!”

“Our 6 year old dog had a great time with Kevin and Inez, hiding and swimming with their other dogs! Kevin and Inez were both highly communicative, flexible and sent updates each day. Would highly recommend — thank you!!!”

“Nora took WONDERFUL care of our two cats Robin and Stu. Frequent updates, direct & thorough communication, and most of all, in the pictures we could tell that they were super happy while under her care :). Planning 100% to reach out to Nora again when we need pet sitting.”

“Gwynn is amazing. She paid attention to exactly the attention (exercise, etc.) that Martie needed and even sent us pictures of their adventures. Martie was exhausted when we got home!”

“I am truly grateful to have found Lexi to care for my dog, Vizhna. I need to board V for 11 weekends over a nine-month period because I'm going to school away from home. Vizhna gets anxious in new situations, so it was important for me to find one person who could do most or all of the weekends, instead of finding a different sitter for each weekend. I contacted 14 pet-sitters on Rover that didn't work out--before I contacted Lexi. Lexi is calm, competent, thoughtful, caring, and detail-oriented, and Vizhna was able to relax and enjoy herself while staying with Lexi and her family. That was a huge weight off my heart, to find a situation where V will not feel anxious while she's away from home--and in fact to find a second (temporary) home for V. I highly recommend Lexi for any pet care you need!”

“Greta is amazing with my dog. He loves his visits with her and her other doggy visitors. Pickup and dropoff is also super flexible and easy. Thanks again, Greta! Manu will definitely be back!”

“Wonderful as always! My cats were so happy when I came home after getting the care and attention while I was gone that they needed from Olivia. She spends time with them and cleans everything up every time which I do appreciate.”

“Sarah was great and my kitty was very well looked after! She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely book her again. I know my cat appreciated the company 😊”

“Julia is fantastic- she went above and beyond to take care of our very old cat while we were away. Her notes were helpful and put us at ease knowing our cat was in good hands.”

“Omri was excellent, extremely responsive and offered fantastic care for our girls, Izzy and Asher! 10/10 recommend! will be using his services in the future! Thank you, Omri!”

“Izzy is fantastic! We had an issue with our auto feeder and she graciously agreed to add a visit to make sure it was functioning properly. She’s responsive, dependable, and friendly. Highly recommend.”

“Katherine is a wonderful, reliable sitter for cats and dogs. My household has only had positive experiences with her care and are deeply appreciative for everything she’s helped with.”

“My good experience with Rainie started from when I corresponded with her when looking for a cat sitter: she responded very promptly and was very agreeable for a meet and greet with my cat. Rainie approached the meet and greet like an interview; she is warm and funny but asked lots of relevant questions about his care and patterns. (He also liked her right away.) She came over when she said she would, and stuck to her word that she would go over at the same time of day in order to provide some consistency to my cat. I felt very comfortable having heard how attuned she was to his needs. All in all I found her very professional and I came home to the litter box in order and the apartment as I left it! I’m very grateful for her help.”

“Abby is wonderful. She takes great care of our cat while we’re away, sends thorough updates, and is a true pro. We feel very at ease when Abby is checking in on our furry family member.”

About: My experience comes from caring for my own dogs and dog sitting big dogs for friends who don't want their pups to stay in their comfy familiar home while they are away. I've owned labs, huskies, shepherds and collies. Most recently I had two collies that have travelled with me around the world. Sadly both have passed recently So I'm without a dog of my own but love having them around. I am happy to meet new dogs of all ages and breeds. I love large dogs too but my place may be too small for some but I'm happy to meet up and see what works. I work from home a lot and am very flexible to drop in or take your pup(s) for a walk. I run most days and can have pups join if that's something they like. I am very cautious about dog handling and will follow your instructions. I will only care for dogs in my home after I've taken care of them at your home and I am familiar enough with the dog so that I am sure it will be ok in a new space and that I can accommodate its needs.
“Caitlin was prompt and attentive. I appreciated the daily photos. Max looked relaxed and content. It was great to have our senior kitty looked after in our home, since he doesn’t like to travel at all.”
“Kennedy took absolutely amazing care of our cats while we were away! We couldn’t recommend her any more highly and will absolutely rebook with her in the future. She was incredibly responsible and sent us lots of daily pictures of our two cats.”

“Armani was caring and thoughtful during the visits. My cats enjoyed her company and she even did dishes for me voluntarily. I was grateful that she was able to sit my cats during Christmas. Will book her again when I need sitting in the future”

“Sean was great with our 9 year old aussie/corgi. We travelled from Canada and visited Vins Bird rehab Centre while Sean took care of our dog "Willow". Sean responded quickly and was easy to communicate with. He sent updates, pictures, location, and timings for return. Willow had a great time under his care. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Sean again.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. My dog is my everything and yours will get the same love and care while with me! We do long walks when temperatures allow and brief outdoor breaks during the day to stay cool and get in some exercise! I live in an apartment that is very walkable and has many parks around! My dog is a great playmate for other female dogs, and does good with most boys as well. We love long walks on the many trails in the area and love to explore!
“Sean is an excellent dog daycare provider. He is personable, kind and very reliable. Hamish loved not only Sean, but also Sean’s family — which includes two Labradoodles, Penny and Finn, Hamish’s daily playmates around the family’s generous off-road property.”

About: Hello my name is Nora! I am a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I love pets more than anything! I have two labradoodles of my own, and a lot of experience caring for pets. I can be home with your pet for the entire day. I am also available on weekends at any time and can ensure that your pet will receive my complete attention! Please reach out to me more about an exact schedule and we can discuss your needs :) I currently live in 3 bedroom home by myself. There is a fenced yard in the back. With a team of of veterinary providers, groomers and emergency contacts in place, you can rest assured that your pets will receive the best possible attention and care. Not a cage or kennel but a finished 20x20 heated and furnished room in my barn loft where we can play and visit one on one.
“Cannot say enough good things about Sarah, Ben, and their adorable pup Bean! They took such good care of our puppy while we skied. She got to play all day with another dog and snuggle in between! About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. I believe that both people and animals benefit from living in a clean and comfortable space, so I seek to maintain and accommodate that kind of positive atmosphere in your pet's home.

“I highly recommend Armani! She helped me out on a very short notice and took wonderful care of my doggy Halla. She was very tuned into the little cues and nuances of Halla and was so kind and patient with her.”

About: I am a life long cat owner but have a particular love for working dog breeds. I have experience with blue heelers, labs, retrievers, greyhounds, and the occasional Belgian Malinois. I am comfortable walking, playing (including the extra mental stimulation working breeds require), feeding, and administering oral medication to well trained dogs. I am currently a part time student and full time cat owner. Outside of class/travel times, my schedule is flexible. I will only accept work for days/times I can be fully committed to what your pet needs. My two cats aren’t pets, they’re family. They each have their own personality, needs, and forms of communication. My older cat loves her sunny spots, chin scratches, cardboard scratching sled, and mint-sticks but will never chase after a toy (just treats). She has her routine and sticks to it. My younger cat is simultaneously skittish and demanding of butt-pats. I just need to pay attention to what she’s communicating. If it moves, she’ll chase it. Your cat would be like another family member with their own personalities that need to be learned and adapted to. Like cats, dogs have their own personalities and communication styles that need to be learned and understood. But there are also extra considerations depending on size and breed. Working dogs need exercise, games, and puzzles to solve. Some breeds just need to know you’re there for them. As a sitter, I would expect the owner to train their dog and make sure they have access to the space they need. As an owner, you should expect me give them the exercise, attention, and affection they need while maintaining the discipline you’ve taught them.

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 6 years and have been a pet owner most of my life. I have had a hospice dog and have a soft spot for senior animals. I currently have a Siberian husky, a husky/shepard mix and 2 cats! I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available as needed. Animals are a significant part of my life and I look forward to helping you and your family. I am available for dog walks, drop ins, or pet sitting. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats as part of our family. They are definitely spoiled but also well trained. I take pet care very seriously, every animal deserves respectful and loving care. My dogs require a lot of activity due to their breeds which has given me a lot of experience with high energy, high needs dogs.
“Kennedy took Cinder on a long sniffy walk all around the university. Our pup had a chance to meet new people, see new dogs, and get nice and tired! Kennedy clearly has experience with dogs—it shows in her positive interactions. We highly recommend her to others. She will treat your pup with love and care!”
About: I just got home from visiting my extended family and miss their dogs. I have been an ‘auntie’ to my parents, brothers and friends dogs for many years. My lifestyle is very flexible. Animals give my life, joy, fun and happiness. My college aged daughter just started using this platform and absolutely loves it! I’m excited to give it a try! I helped my daughters care for their small animals when they were little and living at home. I have helped care for my brothers and parents dogs by visiting and hanging out with them. I spent the last six weeks helping my mom with my dad who has dementia and regularly walked their dog Lucy, who I love and miss dearly.
About: I have been caring for pets for 15 years and I absolutely adore all animals. I will make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and given lots of attention. I always pamper and spoil all animals. I pay close attention to specific diets, restrictions, etc to make your pup/cat and you as happy as can be. I have numerous references and would be glad to give them to you. I am 29 years old and I recently moved to Lebanon NH from Kansas City. Caring for animals is what makes me happy and I would love to care for your beloved pet. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. In the meantime, I hope you will think of me when you need any service for your pet. I have all the time to spend with your pet, and look forward to doing so! My side gig I do aside from caring for pets is that I make dog treats and cakes! I often take dogs out for walks and scoop the litter daily. I make sure food and water is full and address any sort of restriction and exact times to feed and let out pets.

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have been a trusted pet sitter for family and friends over the years. I genuinely love both dogs and cats-they bring so much joy to my day! Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your furry family member. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available for walks before work, during my lunch break, and after work. I’m also happy to provide overnight care in your home if needed. I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and provide dependable, loving care while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. I’m happy to care for them in the familiar environment of your home and will follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, or special requests you have. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

I have a full-time job with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, which allows me to plan reliably around pet care. I’m available for evening care after work, and full availability on weekends. I prioritize sticking to pets’ established routines and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care during the times I’m with them. I prioritize personalized care, whether that's providing regular exercise, meals, medication, grooming, etc. I ensure pets feel loved and secure through companionship and communication with owners, while also being prepared for emergencies.
