“Cara and her family had me completely at ease from our meet & greet through my dog’s stay. Cara shared photos every day and included notes - allowed me to remain confident in Fiona’s care. Cara is very responsive and excellent with communicating.”

“Emily took great care of our two older dogs. After our initial meet and greet we felt comfortable leaving our girls in her care. We loved the daily updates and many pictures she sent and they came back to us happy and relaxed. We would definitely book Emily again in the future.”

About: I have had small and big dogs in my home growing up and have loved them all! Regularly took care of friends and neighbors pets and am a future pet owner myself once I graduate college!! I work part time and am able to do check ins early morning and afternoons. Also love to stay active so always up for walk and even runs I have a very friendly golden at home and a great fully fenced baseball field nearby to let them off leash! Also a big house so plenty of room to move around.
“Michelle was terrific! Ellie stayed with her for Thanksgiving weekend and came home happy and tired! She was well-loved and Michelle kept us updated with pics and videos… and was super responsive and proactive before and during the entire experience. Thank you Michelle!”

“Christina and Jason say that 'while your dog is with us, your dog is our dog', and they really mean it. They truly understand and love dogs. There is absolutely nothing else I could want in a pet sitter. I am so grateful to have found them. My dog is pretty darn happy about it too.”

“Steve is awesome! He’s so nice and really knows his stuff when it comes to dogs. He sent lots of photos and kept us updated throughout the stay, which made me feel great while Mango was with him. Mango had a really good time and came home happy and tired. We’ll definitely be booking with Steve again!”

“Jessica did great with the dogs and keeping me updated! They went on multiple hikes a day and came back to me tired. She was also very understanding and flexible surrounding pick up and drop off times”

“Greta provided great care for our 11 month old puppy. She has a wonderful property for active dogs and takes them on several walks a day. She was very communicative throughout our pets stay and provided pictures and updates several times a day. We would not hesitate to use her services again. Thank you for the care.”

“Kevin and Inez were awesome! Took great care of our Goldendoodle "Honey". Sent pictures and videos during here stay! Would highly recommend leaving your fur baby with Kevin and Inez. We would use them again if we are in the area! Anne and Bob”

“Sam and her family are great! My girl is a snuggler who does best if not left alone a lot and they delivered. It's the best of both worlds: experienced dog handler meets doggie daycare meets lots of individual attention and all the snuggles. She was flexible, easy to work with, and great with my beagle!”

“Our pups recently had their second overnight with Meredith. She provides very honest feedback about their stays- the fact is, our pups would rather be with us than away from us. But we know they are safe and well cared for with Meredith. She is kind and consistent with them and we know they will settle in over time. We are very happy to have Meredith care for our dogs.”

“I felt very comfortable, safe, and secure with my dog Tubbs in Abbie’s care. She has great communication, is kind and caring, and Tubbs was in the best mood when I picked him up (I’m not certain he wanted to leave!). Highly recommend, will definitely rebook!”

“Our 4 year old Labradoodle started have anxiety at the kennels we brought him too. We tried Ben and Laura and it was a great experience. Goobah got along great with their beautiful dogs and loved being able to go on the furniture to get comfy. Thank you so much for providing a wonderful home for our buddy while we were away!!! We will definitely book in the future with you.”

“Diana was a fabulous host! She was very responsive throughout the whole process and was really helpful in working with us to make arrangements for our 2 dogs for a long-term stay. One of our dogs had a pre-existing health problem flare up during their stay, and Diana notified us immediately and went above and beyond in making the necessary arrangements and keeping us informed. We will definitely be using Diana again!”

“Gwynn is amazing. She paid attention to exactly the attention (exercise, etc.) that Martie needed and even sent us pictures of their adventures. Martie was exhausted when we got home!”

“Enzo can be a shy guy and a little nervous but Lauren did everything to make him feel comfortable including checking in with me, which I truly appreciate. He came home happy and tired and we would use Lauren again!”

“We cannot say enough good things about Sarah and Ben! They took amazing care of our girls and we got many updates with pictures and they looked right at home. Their dog Bean is so cute and our girls loved playing with him too! We were so happy knowing our girls were in great hands!!”

Attie had the best time staying with Jeremy and playing with his pup Maggie! He was very communicative and we got lots of updates and videos of Attie thoroughly enjoying himself, which helped me relax more on our vacation knowing he was having so much fun. Would highly recommend!

Many sitters in VT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
