During Lebanon’s hotter days, we carefully plan walks around the weather, avoid the hottest parts of the day, provide plenty of water, and monitor for signs of overheating to ensure every outing is enjoyable and safe. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Before caring for a dog, I like to learn about their routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers so I can keep their experience as familiar and stress-free as possible. On our property, when dogs are outside they’re either on a leash walking or in our enclosed large yard space, never bring left unsupervised. Dogs always have access to fresh water, and receive regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and pay close attention to how each dog is feeling, especially during hot weather or after exercise. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, keep the home clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. About: My experience comes from caring for my own dogs and dog sitting big dogs for friends who don't want their pups to stay in their comfy familiar home while they are away. I've owned labs, huskies, shepherds and collies. Most recently I had two collies that have travelled with me around the world. We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. “Kevin watched our pug for two days while we attended the Quechee Balloon Festival. He was incredibly flexible with our plans and let us stay out much longer than originally planned. About: I can’t remember the last time I’ve lived in a home without a dog or cat! I’ve been training my own furball who’s 10 months old and he’s doing great! About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have been a trusted pet sitter for family and friends over the years. I genuinely love both dogs and cats-they bring so much joy to my day! Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your furry family member. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available for walks before work, during my lunch break, and after work. I’m also happy to provide overnight care in your home if needed. About: I am a life long cat owner but have a particular love for working dog breeds. I have experience with blue heelers, labs, retrievers, greyhounds, and the occasional Belgian Malinois. I am comfortable walking, playing (including the extra mental stimulation working breeds require), feeding, and administering oral medication to well trained dogs. I am currently a part time student and full time cat owner. Outside of class/travel times, my schedule is flexible. I will only accept work for days/times I can be fully committed to what your pet needs. My two cats aren’t pets, they’re family. They each have their own personality, needs, and forms of communication. My older cat loves her sunny spots, chin scratches, cardboard scratching sled, and mint-sticks but will never chase after a toy (just treats). She has her routine and sticks to it. My younger cat is simultaneously skittish and demanding of butt-pats. I just need to pay attention to what she’s communicating. If it moves, she’ll chase it. Your cat would be like another family member with their own personalities that need to be learned and adapted to. Like cats, dogs have their own personalities and communication styles that need to be learned and understood. But there are also extra considerations depending on size and breed. Working dogs need exercise, games, and puzzles to solve. Some breeds just need to know you’re there for them. As a sitter, I would expect the owner to train their dog and make sure they have access to the space they need. As an owner, you should expect me give them the exercise, attention, and affection they need while maintaining the discipline you’ve taught them.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter and animal lover! I grew up with a childhood dog whom I loved very much. When she passed, I began dog sitting often because I adore dogs so much I am a current Dartmouth senior with a very flexible day-to-day schedule. About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up in a family with them, so caring for them has always been second nature. Over the years, I’ve also looked after dogs for neighbors, giving me experience caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with both large and small dogs and enjoy adapting my care to each dog’s individual needs—whether that’s an energetic walk, a trip to the dog park, or simply providing a calm, relaxed environment. I believe every dog is unique, so I take the time to get to know what makes them feel comfortable and happy. What sets me apart is the amount of time and attention I can dedicate to each pet. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, pay close attention to their behavior and wellbeing, and communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos so they can have peace of mind while they’re away. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. My wife works from home, so between the two of us there’s always someone around. We live on Farr farm, an enclosed and expansive former farm on Farr road, so named for my family who has farmed this land for over a century. We already take our own friendly dog, Bunny, out on walks two to three times a day, and I’m happy to include guest dogs on frequent walks and park visits based on their personality, energy level, and your preferences. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. During Lebanon’s hotter days, we carefully plan walks around the weather, avoid the hottest parts of the day, provide plenty of water, and monitor for signs of overheating to ensure every outing is enjoyable and safe. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Before caring for a dog, I like to learn about their routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers so I can keep their experience as familiar and stress-free as possible. On our property, when dogs are outside they’re either on a leash walking or in our enclosed large yard space, never bring left unsupervised. Dogs always have access to fresh water, and receive regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and pay close attention to how each dog is feeling, especially during hot weather or after exercise. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, keep the home clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
