About: Ever since I was a kid, I have had a special connection with animals in a way I can’t quite explain. I was the one coming home with all kinds of various animals, big and small. The people in my life know that if they need their pet looked after, I will leap at the opportunity. I am currently part time with a pretty flexible schedule I can spend as much time needed with your little guys. We can work something out! About: I'm incredibly responsible and have a deep, lifelong love for animals. I cared for my dog for 16 years and my cat for 18, both well into their senior years. My dog recently passed, and I miss him every day. Joining Rover felt like a natural next step, as I'm not quite ready to get another dog of my own. I have hands-on experience with senior pet care, kidney disease management, and the administration of subcutaneous fluids. I also volunteer at a farm sanctuary. My office is in the Arts District, so I can walk dogs in the neighborhood before/after work and on my lunch break. For pet sitting I can work remotely from your home, or bring your dog to work with me if they prefer a change of scenery. I'm extremely responsible and will make sure your instructions are followed. I've spent over 10 years caring for animals, including 16 years with my own dog and 18 years with my cat, both of whom have since passed. Through caring for my dog, I gained hands-on experience with senior pet care, kidney disease management, and administering subcutaneous fluids. I've used Rover myself when traveling, so I know firsthand how hard it is to find the right sitter and how much trust you're placing in someone. I take that seriously.
