Availability
😁Hopefully this section answers your (possible) availability questions. Thank you!😄 It’s MUCH easier to catch me in the morning/day. My regular job posts the schedule for the following week every single Friday. Sometimes they post one week, sometimes they post for the upcoming two. Either way, I'm here for a one-time booking, becoming your regular care provider, or (with proper collaborative planning) providing extended care for long trips away! I’m reliable, respectful, punctual, and communicative. I work part-time ***mostly on UNSET weeknights (unavailable by 4:15PM if I work that day).***Weekends vary quite considerably by day AND night due to that aforementioned “9-5” job, and I take classes online as well (alterable).*** That being said, I do my absolute best to try and accommodate by offering: 1. Flexible last-minute bookings and requests; 2. Same-day cancellations; 3. Responding within 5-10 minutes ***max*** (if I ain’t at work); 4. Availability for meet-&-greets, if needed; 5. Ensuring to incorporate photo updates throughout, as well as notations in-app; 6. now even though I may be entirely booked on any given day/week, still feel free to reach out anyway if you’re inclined, as sometimes I can actually come through if given enough time, planning, and communication. Last minute requests can also ***sometimes*** be honored, but there’re way more variables to that, as I’m sure you would guess; and 7. Communication is key! And truth be told, I’d rather be doing this than waiting tables. 😹🐕

About Eric C.
Communication

Safety, trust & environment
I'm located in Rampart Village/Westlake, immediately west of DTLA and right before you get to Koreatown. I treat pets as babies. I even call them "baby" when I speak to them, no matter what size, no matter what species, no matter what age. BUT if you need a bit more neutral language, that ain't an issue at all! And if there are any circumstances that require my attention in terms of unique care, I follow those instructions 100% of the time. I'm deeply respectful of pets and their owners. Again, communication is imperative to me! Oh!—and this is important, but I kindly decline strangers out in public from petting your dogs on walks, no matter how friendly, just for everyone’s safety!
Information Eric C. would like to know about your pet
I'd presume that if your baby/babies got any special needs, that you’ll inform me. I’ll always over-communicate as well, to ensure I understand what is required to provide the best care possible, no questions asked. I aim to extract as much information as is possible beforehand too, just to reinforce that y'all are in good hands! I take notes on my phone entitled with your pet’s name so that way I ain’t gotta bother you so much when you’re away. 😁😁
A typical day
For walking, please note that I always bring extra large collapsible water bowls as well as extra large collapsible water bottles with me/us, as insurance! That, and I like to map out routes to take beforehand, surveying the neighborhood(s) and using map apps to explore what’s around them. I’m also always ensuring they ain’t eating random stuff on our path. I adjust myself to the nature and personality of each and every individual pet, whether it’s playtime, snuggling and cuddling, making special needs pets know they are loved (whatever that may require), or just walking the block—I’m there. I’m here to facilitate the best day ever! And I’m very malleable, easy to work with. We'll have a great time!

Pet care experience
😁Please make sure you’re booking for the correct service. Thank you!😄 Think of me as your extra set of hands.🫶🏽🤲🏽 I've had countless (family) dogs over the years, since 2004. I currently have an orange tabby (cat) named Klage, that I adopted at two-months-old, back in late 2019. I LOVE getting to meet people's pets. It's one of my many joys in life. Suffice to say, I have a trove of experience providing care, including for those whom are anxious and need a little (or a lotta) extra love. I can also train dogs, though I ain't officially certified nor is it a service I provide; it’s just for your information to know that the skill set and experience are there. That being said, as long as your pet ain’t unruly, everything is fine. And as far as medication administration is concerned, if I ***do not*** have to physically restrain them to do so, easy-squeezy-lemon-peezy! 😄 Also: I'm open to helping you out if you're pet's an animal other than dog or cat!

Reviews
Eric did an amazing job taking care of my two cats, Momo and Hershey. He was incredibly accommodating and even made time to meet with me on short notice despite my hectic schedule. He was kind, communicative, and easy to talk to, it honestly felt like talking with a friend. I care a lot about my cats, so finding someone I could trust was really important, and Eric immediately put me at ease. He arrived promptly for every visit and sent plenty of photos and updates, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. There's no doubt I'll be booking with Eric again for my next Rover experience. Thank you so much, Eric!
Let me start by saying that if you’re looking for a kind, empathetic, calm, patient, and compassionate caregiver for your pet, Eric is your guy. He was exactly what my cat and I needed today. I have a very skittish and scared foster cat who I needed help with and truth be told, I wasn’t sure how Eric would be with her. She’s sick and needed to go to the vet but is hard to handle getting into a carrier. Eric arrived on time, with a lot of calm and soothing energy and approached my cat with the utmost love and concern. And she did not make things easy; she put up quite a fight but Eric was never mean, was never impatient, and exudeded kindness and gentleness the whole time. Moving forward, I will enlist Eric’s help EACH AND EVERY TIME FOR ALL MY PETS.

Eric did an amazing job looking after my 8 month kitten when I was going away for holiday for 2 weeks. I had travel logistics that made handing off the keys a little bit difficult, but Eric was super flexible and responsive which made the whole experience very smooth. He is great with cats and got along with Callie immediately. The home was in great condition when I came back as well. If you are looking for a responsible sitter for your pet, look no further than Eric! He even brought over some toys for her to play with that he let us keep afterwards. 100/100!

This guy is amazing! The dogs love him and he takes great care of them! 1000% recommend him to take care of your dogs!
