“We just picked up our dog from his second visit with Caroline. As soon as I pulled up to her house to drop him off, he was tugging at his leash to go inside. He has so much fun there and Caroline offers so much love, attention and care for all the dogs she watches. She sends lots of pictures/videos and makes us feel so safe when we have to be away from our dog. Will definitely book again!”

“Deana is very friendly and kind. You can tell she loves dogs! My dog Bean seems like he had a wonderful time with Deana and her dog Shaggy. Deana provided updates and photos almost every day and is very communicative/responsive. We would love for her to watch Bean again next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Marcin was a GREAT sitter for Remy. We brought our dog to UMich from NYC to drop off our son for college. Marcin watched her while we did the heavy lifting in the dorm. He walked her, took photos, made her treats (dehydrated chicken). He was very responsive with communication, was punctual and very nice to work with. It was helpful for us, but also comforting to know Remy was in good hands. I would highly recommend.”

“Katie and Kristen were great! They were extremely responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates. Our dog settled in quickly and was very comfortable with them.”

About: Most members of my family have pets and have relied on me to take care of them when they traveled. I'm familiar with the needs of both cats and dogs. I've given a cat shots for diabetes, have taken care of multiple animals with different feeding schedules/special dietary foods, can give dogs a bath without much hassle (special thanks to the best assistant- peanut butter), and love taking dogs for walks. I also enjoy helping cats get their hunter's energy out while we play together. Having my own cat, pet care is a daily routine for me. I give her fresh food and water in the morning and again in the evening. I clean her litter every day as needed. I understand every owner and pet has their own schedule, so I'm happy to follow any schedule/routine your pet is accustomed to. Your pet will receive quality care whether it's in your home or mine, and will be cared for according to the schedule or needs you convey to me. I typically walk dogs within their own neighborhoods as I cannot board dogs due to having a cat and being unsure how she responds to dogs. Most of my experience so far has been providing pet care within the owner's home through drop-in visits.

“Katie was very welcoming to our two dogs and they seemed very relaxed and comfortable with her and her husband. She sent pictures and was also very accommodating to our last minute change request and then unplanned delay because of car trouble. We would definitely recommend Katie!”

“Walter had his second stay with Holly and her family. We received detailed reports and pictures of how he was doing. Holly goes above and beyond in her care for him, even letting him sleep in her bed and putting down extra rugs because he developed a new fear of wood floors. We can’t say enough good things about Holly. We are thankful to have found her and highly recommend her.”

“Jennifer cared for my 4 month old pup for the week while we were away on vacation. He had some separation issues but she was on top of it and stayed in connect and informed us how he was each day! He was a bit of a handful in my opinion, with his anxiety and being a pup and I don’t think we could have found a more suitable sitter. Thank you! We are hopeful next time he will be more familiar and more comfortable for a better stay for everyone!”

About: My husband and I decided to host through Rover after our beloved 21 year old Shiba passed away. I have watched dogs, farm animals, cats, and small reptiles and mammals since 2010 in others’ homes. I also was a dog trainer while finishing college, starting at PetSmart and then branching out on my own. We will give walks and help train dogs while they are with us. We can also administer medication. Not only do I have experience with senior care because our Shiba we had but also young puppies above 8 weeks old with training, so any needs can be met with our boarding. I am a teacher, so during the summer and holidays I don’t work! My husband is a principal, so pets fit right into our daily routine and we can be with them regularly. They may need to be alone when we have soccer for a couple of hours or if we have to go get dinner occasionally, grocery shop, etc. During the school year, our schedule is different, and we are gone 7:30-3pm. We have a fenced in yard and no other dogs in our home. We do have the option of boarding multiple dogs if your family owns more than one or if you want your dog to have socialization with other dogs. If your dog doesn’t like other animals though, no worries! We can service that too. If you want your dog crated, you will need to bring their crate with you, but we have no problem crating. Also bring some of their favorite toys, their leash, and their food and favorite treats to help them feel comfortable while here. We have a large family home with just my husband and I, so there’s plenty of room for any size dogs to play! Our subdivision also has sidewalks so we can walk your dog easily. I will also help with any training needs.
