About: Hi, I’m Tatiana! Animals have always been part of my life, but in the last years I realized that I have a natural talent for training and working with dogs. What started as a passion has now become my full-time profession. I have hands-on experience with pets of all ages and temperaments — from playful puppies to senior dogs, from shy or anxious pets to those with more challenging behaviors. I focus on creating calm, safe, and structured environments so every dog feels secure and understood. Along with pet sitting and walks, I also integrate basic training and positive reinforcement into my care, helping pets build good habits and confidence. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in reliable and loving hands. 💕 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Since I work independently and have a flexible schedule, I can easily dedicate my time to walks, play, feeding, and any special needs your pet may have. I make sure to structure my day so that pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine, I always create a calm and secure environment. I pay close attention to their routines, behaviors, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced in working with both dogs and cats of different ages and temperaments, including pets that may be shy, anxious, or require medication. My goal is to ensure they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away.
About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, including pit bulls, golden retrievers, poodles, senior dogs, and tabby cats. I’ve also cared for pets with medication and dietary needs, including both oral and injectable medications. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Whether that means a long walk, plenty of play and attention, sticking closely to their feeding routine, or simply giving a nervous or senior pet some extra patience, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I’ll keep you updated with how your pet is doing and treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I currently work evening shifts at my family’s restaurant in Darien, so I’m generally available for pet care during the mornings and afternoons, as well as some evenings. My work schedule does not interfere with housesitting, and I’m able to provide attentive care throughout the day and overnight. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m happy to work around my evening schedule and coordinate times that work best for you and your pet. I have a fenced-in yard and a very docile and friendly golden retriever. She’s 11 and gets along with every animal she meets. When taking care of a pet at client’s homes, I prioritize leaving it in the same or better condition than I found it.

“Scheduled when we were in a pinch so appreciated the flexibility and responsiveness. I didn't get a lot of feedback on how his day went, but he came back happy and tired. I would send him back again if we lived in the area.”
“Val ( and family ) were absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute booking for our dog, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Throughout the week, she sent lots of photos and videos, keeping us updated and reassured that our pup was happy and well cared for. It was clear she treated our dog like family, and we could tell how much love and attention she gave. We came home to a healthy, happy dog, and we’re so grateful for her exceptional care. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely use her again in the future!”

“Chandi watched Vinnie for the day when we had a last minute request. Vinnie had the best time at her house! He played in the yard and enjoyed being with Chandi! Chandi sent photos and frequent updates about Vinnie’s day. We are so grateful for her help!!”

“I am a first time dog mom and my Shih Tzu went to stay with them for the day last min and she was so nice. About: Animals are my life! They literally flock to me and I've always had a way with my furry friends. In my childhood my German Shepard, Flash, was the love of my life and always loved energetic play, beach runs, and playing in the dunes. I handle dogs both big and small and my current client has a tiny teacup mix, Riley, who despite his ten years of age, will play fetch for hours on end. He does have a heart condition and problem with his trachea, so being careful during walks (not letting him pull the leash too hard) and making sure he doesn't overwork his little heart are two safety concerns to always be mindful of. I also regularly dog sit Riley for weekend stay overs and make sure to stay with him in the bed so he is comfortable. Having grown up with all kinds of pets like parakeets, dogs, and guinea pigs (just to name a few) I've literally learned to "talk to the animals" and it's easy for me to familiarize with new pets and their needs very quickly. I'm very high-energy and can take your dog for an energetic walk at a comfortable based based on their health or general needs. And If you want your pup in tip top shape I can jog with them for hours and incorporate other fun games and exercises in the mix. I'm currently a full time "Rover" so my schedule is fairly open. I'm flexible in terms of last-minute bookings as well. The same flexibility applies if you would like to book a day or overnight sitter. I live on High Ridge Rd in Stamford near the Merritt so I'm only about 10 minutes away from the Mianus River State Park and 7 minutes from the Stamford dog park
About: I've worked as a dog bather at two different dog grooming salons, where I gained experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My partner and I have also owned and cared for pets our whole life—we have 5 cats and regularly dog sit our family members' dogs. My partner and I work well as a team to make sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and the best care possible. We also have experience working in the cleaning industry, so we understand the importance of keeping spaces safe, clean, and comfortable for animals. We currently have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows us to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. We take a daily run and would be happy to bring an energetic dog along if it’s something they’re comfortable with. We also go to the gym each evening from 8–10 PM, but outside of that we are home and available. Because of our flexible routine, we can provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of love and attention to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away, at work, or just need a break for the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel at home. We have experience caring for both dogs and cats and currently have 5 cats of our own, so we’re very familiar with daily pet care routines. We follow each pet owner’s instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, and special needs. With our flexible schedule, we’re able to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.
“This was our first time dropping our puppy off away from home for daycare. Hazard and his wife Zoey did a wonderful job taking care of him. They followed our instructions and sent us lots of photos and videos through out the entire day. We loved that our puppy got to stay with such a loving family and make lots of new friends! We look forward to working with them again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westport
We were visiting family in Norwalk, and Angela truly saved the day with her flexibility, availability, and quick response to our last-minute request. She was incredibly kind, understanding, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, and she always responded promptly. Her willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier for our family, and we are incredibly grateful for all of her help during a difficult and unexpected time. We highly recommend Angela!

Anna was so kind and patient with our huge, shy, 9.5 month old Great Dane. We had never left her with anyone and I was very nervous! But, Anna sent photos and assured me Pepper was having fun... when we went to pick her up she was sad to leave Anna! We are so thankful to have found Anna and will definitely plan for another stay for Pepper. Highly recommended!!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
