About: Animals are my life! They literally flock to me and I've always had a way with my furry friends. In my childhood my German Shepard, Flash, was the love of my life and always loved energetic play, beach runs, and playing in the dunes. I handle dogs both big and small and my current client has a tiny teacup mix, Riley, who despite his ten years of age, will play fetch for hours on end. He does have a heart condition and problem with his trachea, so being careful during walks (not letting him pull the leash too hard) and making sure he doesn't overwork his little heart are two safety concerns to always be mindful of. I also regularly dog sit Riley for weekend stay overs and make sure to stay with him in the bed so he is comfortable. Having grown up with all kinds of pets like parakeets, dogs, and guinea pigs (just to name a few) I've literally learned to "talk to the animals" and it's easy for me to familiarize with new pets and their needs very quickly. I'm very high-energy and can take your dog for an energetic walk at a comfortable based based on their health or general needs. John was the only dog sitter John was able to ease my anxiety quickly because the fact that he genuinely cares about each and every dog is obvious once you talk and/or meet him. First-off, he is the only dog sitter sitter I have ever found that pays close attention to the personalities of each dog— it is his regular practice to only accept dogs that are sweet, not at aggressive so they are guaranteed to enjoy socializing together! Rather, he welcomes the ‘newbie’ by first introducing him/her to the other dogs -individually- to proactively avoid the new dog feeling overwhelmed, anxious and/or scared in any way. About: I started dog sitting when I was in 6th grade and have been taking care of pets since then. I grew up with 3 dogs and 2 cats and have tons of experience with walking, training, and other pet care! I work full time and get off around 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday and can assist with early morning walks/care or evening to late evening. I am limited on caring for dogs in my apartment due to apartment policies. However, short stays can be arranged! I live with just myself in a community and no longer have pets in my care.
