I had to drop them off without a meet and greet because I was only in town for one day. The first day they stay with someone new, they usually don’t eat. The best indication that they were comfortable and at home with her is that they ate all the food I left. I would gladly leave them with her regularly if I lived nearby.”

About: Hi! I’m Annabelle, I’m 20 years old, and I’ve been taking care of dogs all my life! I first got two dogs at six years old and since then we’ve had another 10! We’ve had a mix of labradors, pitbulls and great pyrenees! I also used to dog sit for a family with roughly 13 dogs (some were their personal dogs and some fosters so the number varied). These dogs ranged from cane corsos to chihuahuas so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I also used to dog sit during that time as well for various other families. I typically go on a lot of walks and hikes during the week because I really enjoy getting outside and moving my body. “Maizie's stay with Claudia represented one of the first times we've ever left her for an extended time, and it sounds like she experienced some initial separation anxiety. However, my sense is that Claudia knew well how to deal with that, and Maizie did, indeed, adjust to her surroundings rather quickly after a day or so. While we were gone, Claudia often sent us photos and updates so we'd know Maizie was doing well, and she even indicated on the day before our return that Maizie was looking forward to seeing us (which I certainly hoped would be the case, but didn't really know would be so true until I arrived to pick her up!) Bottom line is that I would heartily endorse Claudia and happily use her services again when we need to leave town for our next vacation.”
