About: I’m a college student at Sacred Heart University, and I have had a dog for as long as I can remember. I love caring for dogs and giving them the love and attention that they deserve. I am able to provide many different activities for the dog (see below) and make sure that their needs are met to the best they can be. Something that separates me from other walkers/sitters is that I have been training my own psychiatric service dog for over 3 years. I have minimal dog training and know how to handle dogs in a variety of different ways. As I am a full time college student, my schedule differs from week to week. I am free every weekend, and I am most free on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s I have two other friendly dogs, both about 30 pounds, Australian Labradoodles. Someone is almost always home, and we have a crate so we can crate the dog if needed. We have a very big backyard (about 2 acres) where the dog can run. Please note that the backyard is not fenced as we have an invisible fence.

“I trusted Vanessa with both of my dogs they are my everything . Now my dogs are complicated with there meals as they are allergic to certain things and foods but no match for Vanessa . She’s so reliable and has her own car I remember being stuck at work one night and I couldn’t go to the house and check on them I reached out to her and she with no hesitation states she was on the way to the house . Let me tell you what when my dogs saw her they were so excited I have been using her for over 2 years now and well I will continue using her I’m so thankful for her”

We have a most welcoming Labrador that likes to meet new friends and lead the play dates inside and out. We have a fenced in backyard and I supervise the dogs when they play and exercise. I also bring them for walks. I have worked with lots of dogs and cared for large and small dogs alike and have a unique appreciation for each one no matter the age. We treat the dogs as our own. Last minute schedule arrangements are okay and I promise to keep you informed with pictures of your friend's well being during his or her stay. I’m a staying home mom, so I’ll have plenty of time to cuddle and play with your pups! I’m available and flexible for boarding on weekends and weekdays (also on holidays and vacations). I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly Labrador that loves to play with new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed…
