About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). I try my best to keep my calendar updated to reflect my availability, please reach out if you have any questions! I am super active and would love to spend time outside walking with your pet if you' like and the weather allows! If not we can spend time in-doors playing.

“Callie did a fantastic job taking my dog out for walks this week! She is friendly and easy to communicate with, engaging and caring toward my pup, and I would absolutely reach out to her again for pet care.”

“Cooper does enjoy walking so I hope with cooler weather he will go further. Annika is lovely and Cooper does like her. Let’s hope Cooper cooperated with her. We will try the ball throwing at the park as a back up plan.”

“Alex is friendly, kind, responsive, and responsible. He quickly got back to me about a last minute dog walk, and also handled our overly excited puppy with ease.”

About: Hi, I'm Ashton! I grew up with both cats and dogs and truly love both, as well any other furry/scaly/feathery animal you might have. I'm more than happy and able to assist with any medication administration, training, and exercising of high-energy dogs. As someone with a million photos of my cats and dog, I will also make sure you get the cutest shots of them living their best lives while you are away. Over the years of experience with child, home, and pet care, I have proved myself to be reliable and flexible and hope to gain your pets' and your trust. I look forward to meeting you! I have a flexible schedule and can be available any day of the week for drop-ins, walks, and overnights. Whether it's early mornings or late nights, I can be your reliable source for pet care! My mom and I began fostering dogs for a rescue when I was very young so I've also been handling big groups of dogs of all ages for most of my life. My mom runs a local dog rescue and offers training, so she's definitely honed my dog handling skills quite a bit. I love dogs of all sizes, especially big dogs! My own dog at home is not very energetic, so I would love to play with some more active dogs as well. My schedule can be pretty flexible and I'm often on-the-go. Please let me know if there's any special accommodations your pet needs. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I currently work two part-time jobs with flexible schedules and relatively short shifts, so I'm able to care for pets easily around my daily schedule. I have experience with dogs with a wide variety of temperaments and needs, so I'm able to cater my approach to each individual pet. I'm big on respecting dogs' boundaries, especially in their own spaces, because my own dog is very shy.

“Avery has been an incredible pet owner and caretaker since we met in 6th grade. Her dedication and love for animals are unparalleled, making her the perfect person to entrust with your fur babies. Personal experiences have proven her reliability and responsibility. Avery graciously stayed at my house to watch my two cats for over 2 weeks while I was out of the country. She treated them with the same love and care as I do, ensuring they felt comfortable and secure. I knew she had all situations under control which was comforting with me being so far away. Now having her own dog, she loves taking her high energy companion on long walks, visits parks, farmers markets, and arranges puppy playdates, all to enrich Goose's life with joy and social interactions. Avery's hardworking nature and unwavering trustworthiness make her an ideal pet owner. Andrea M.
“Andrea has already talked to me about how excited and looking forward to being a part Rover. First off she is a loving mother to a fantastic daughter, where she does everything in her abilities to make sure she well provided for. She also loves animals of all kinds, and has wanted a dog to live with her for quite a while know. She is always volunteering to help with our parents dogs, helping me take care of my cats, babysitting her friends dogs, and always wants to adopt one that is in need of a good home. If you gave her this opportunity I am sure you will not be let down, as well as will be someone that will work hard to ensure your company will grow. If there is anything else you have questions about you can reach back to me via email, but rest assured she would be a great asset to the Rover family!”

Mariesa D.

West Village dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mya is wonderful! My dog is elderly in a hospice situation so I could not comfortably put him in a new situation during my trip to my son's graduation out of state. My option was to have someone come to our home daily and take care of Eli and the unfortunately not many friends or family can accommodate that schedule. Mya took great care of him and made sure he was safe and well-cared for taking him on walks and providing me visit updates. I'm sure he misses her already! Highly recommend her for senior in-home care which we all know is a challenge!
