“Emily is so sweet and thoughtful and knows how to read the needs and personality of the pup (and owner). She has a real knack for care. Wonderful house sitter and I will absolutely book with Emily again to stay with Mowgli again!”

“Marie was fantastic! This was our first time using Rover, so we were a bit nervous to leave Brady, but Marie made it so easy! She updated us multiple times a day and was always communicative. She left our house spotless and maybe even a bit cleaner than we left it! We would recommend Marie to anyone!”

“Heather is great I received pictures and updates periodically about how my pups were doing while I was away! I have a few dogs on meds and she handled those perfectly. It really gives me peace of mind to know they’re in great hands !”

“Mary Rose was wonderful!! Very communicative, caring, and did a great job updating me while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter. The frequent pictures she sent of my boy throughout the day eased any worry and I knew he was being well cared for. Cloud approved and made a new friend😊🤍”

“Steven and Claudia are kind people and great cat and house sitters! They took care of our cat Hugo for 2 weeks and kept us updated with messages and pictures. We came back to a happy cat and clean house and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Heather watched our 11 year old chihuahua mix for two nights while we were away for our wedding. It was our first time leaving Birdie with a sitter and Heather was amazing. She sent lots of photos and updates, and we did a meet & greet before booking so we had time to get to know her before the business of our wedding weekend. When we returned, our house was impeccably clean and Birdie was relaxed and happy to see us. Thank you SO much Heather, we look forward to rebooking in the future!”

“I needed a house and dogsitter for a week with very short notice due to a death in the family. Matt came over within 14 hours of me reaching out. He stayed at my house and took care of my two dogs for 8 days. He left the house exactly as I did. He sent me multiple photos and updates each day and was good to my dogs. Appreciate it.”

“Wow, Pauline is so wonderful!! We kind of figured she would be based on her other reviews and when we had our meet and greet, but she was even more thorough and responsible than we ever could have asked for. We have an older dog and cat, each of whom are very set in their high maintenance ways and she took on the project like a pro, keeping us looped in on all the happenings and sending us pictures multiple times a day of the boys enjoying themselves. She took great care of our home and garden too! We will absolutely be looking to Pauline for future stays and walks. Thanks so much again, Pauline!”

“Jen was perfect with Drake. I was away for 5 days. She took him to the dog park, long walks and even to the beach! His vacation was better than mine! Haha. Definitely looking forward to booking her again! Thanks Jen!”

“Sadie did a fantastic job house-sitting my two cats! She definitely knows how to take care of cats, as evidenced by my timid one warming up to her within hours of meeting her! I had total peace of mind while I was away, and I'll definitely be her repeat customer :)”

About: I grew up with three ridgebacks and a beagle, all of whom needed specialized care into their later years. Now, as an adult, I really miss getting to spend so much time with dogs — I would view getting to walk, feed, or play with your dog as a privilege, not an obligation. I work a pretty unorthodox job that leaves me with a open schedule for weeks at a time. The money is nice, sure, but I mostly just need something to fill up my days. I’m very flexible, and more than willing to work with you and your pet’s schedule. I really just aim to make clients animals as close to their everyday routines as possible — it can be jarring for some dogs to have a new person around! A happy dog is a good dog, I find.

About: I genuinely love animals so it doesn’t feel like a job . I’ve taken care of many small and medium sized dogs when family & friends have gone on vacation as well as my own share of pets . Im currently working part time so my availability is fairly open . I go on walks daily , it’s a part of my routine with or without a pet . I have plenty of energy to play , cuddle & care for your fur babies . If we are at my residence I have a mostly fenced home & sweet dog neighbors .

About: I have been responsible for my own pets’ care since I was 12. I have had a very active German Shepard mix and Sharpei growing up, which I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and care. I have a family friend that I walk and hike their dog for so I am comfortable doing both if your dog is more active. I currently work fully remote from my home with schedule flexibility so I am able to take pets for walks in mornings, afternoons, and most evenings. My schedule allows me to be flexible for walking and pet visits during guardian vacations, time away, etc. I have a pet-free home for any pets that are not used to other animals. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with green space. When dog-sitting, I take the approach of playing with a pet outside and familiarizing prior to introductory period in the home.
