About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.
About: I grew up around dogs and understand the love, attention, and exercise they need to be happy and healthy. I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy everything from casual neighborhood walks to longer adventures. When caring for your dog, I’ll treat them like one of my own—providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which allows me to provide dog walking services in the evenings and on weekends. Most weekends I am available, especially with a little advance notice to plan ahead. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that fits both their needs and mine. Growing up with dogs and having a love for the outdoors, I enjoy spending time walking and caring for pets, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Having grown up with dogs and spent years caring for them, I understand their body language and can recognize when they’re tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need a break. She never made me feel crazy wanting updates, sent constant details & photos and I knew that she really understood and LOVED my dog.
