Tania was amazing and my pet Daisy liked her very much . She sent daily updates and took my girl on long walks which she loves . When picking her up I saw her tail going nuts and that showed how much my pet liked her. She in fact offered her a toy that Daisy picked up when she was in her care . Thank you very much for the affection you showed towards my girl.

Rani had a good stay at Shana’s. Shana was welcoming and caring and even created a cozy space for Rani amongst her own pups. Shana was attentive to Rani’s needs and kept me updated with pictures. I would use Shana again. Thank you.

About: I grew up around dogs and understand the love, attention, and exercise they need to be happy and healthy. I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy everything from casual neighborhood walks to longer adventures. When caring for your dog, I’ll treat them like one of my own—providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which allows me to provide dog walking services in the evenings and on weekends. Most weekends I am available, especially with a little advance notice to plan ahead. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that fits both their needs and mine. Growing up with dogs and having a love for the outdoors, I enjoy spending time walking and caring for pets, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Having grown up with dogs and spent years caring for them, I understand their body language and can recognize when they’re tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need a break. I will treat your dog as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs—so you can feel confident knowing they’re in caring and capable hands.

About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.

Holly was pleasant and our furry child took to her her right away. I can tell Holly has a true love and understanding of dogs and their needs. Our dog stayed in her home for five nights making friends, playing, and cuddling. She was flexible and communicative with me while I was away, and sent pictures of our dog having a fun time with her family.

This was such a great first experience! They absolutely loved Jada and sent me pictures to let me know everything of ok. There were quick responses when I would message them asking how things are going and I'd get cute funny texts back about how Jada is playing with her daughter. I will be using Sam again that for sure and would recommend to anyone!

Maggie stayed with Betsy Saturday thru Monday. Once again Betsy has gone above and beyond with our Maggie (corgi). Apparently Maggie decided to act like a cat and at 3:00 AM she decided to start doing the zoomies and play with her toys. Betsy was okay with that!! Betsy is like having a grandparent for your dog. She likes to spoil them!! Which is great to have.

I have to admit that I was skeptical at first with leaving our fur babies with anyone, but I knew I didn’t want to board them in a kennel. We were more than happy with Jim, and the way he and his family took care of are babies! We got pictures and updates everyday of how well they were doing. This was our first time ever using a dog sitter, and we would definitely recommend Jim to anyone! We will definitely be repeat customers for sure!!

They have specialized diets that werent an issue and we received updates throughout our entire trip. You could tell they really care about your fur buddy just as much as you do. Definitely will be rebooking in the future.

Damaris is an incredible person and the best dogsitter I’ve ever known. I was very nervous (paranoid, really) trying to find someone I trusted with my doggie child & best friend. Just speaking with her I knew she was a kind & loving person so I took the risk. She exceeded my highest hopes! My dog is happier with Damaris than with me! WTH? She never made me feel crazy wanting updates, sent constant details & photos and I knew that she really understood and LOVED my dog. I do a lot of rescue & I’ve had less than great experiences with dog-sitters so I don’t make this recommendation lightly. Damaris is a dream come true and I think my pup can’t wait for me to get out of town again! ? Added bonus, she has an incredibly loving family who stepped in & gave her more attention & love than she’s ever known. If you’re lucky enough to book her, just know that your pet may not want to come back home hahaha

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our two boys! From the moment we dropped them off, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. Deb kept us updated while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation. When we picked them up, they were so happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious they had been loved and treated like family while we were gone. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful care she gave them and would trust Deb with our dogs again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their pets as if they were her own! Thank you Deb! ☺️

This isn't a review just for Amber, but the family! My 2 dogs had their first time away from home, and they spent it with a great little family. This was such a nice environment. They had kids to play with, other dogs to play with. The daughter made the cutest little signs with my dogs' names on them...that we will now hang over their bowls here. They just have the perfect setup and family. It is clear that all the dogs in that home are loved while they are there!

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
