About: Hello! :) I am a dependable, caring dog lover who works from home, so your pup will have someone around throughout the day. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages by visiting friends and families homes for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. I'm experienced with giving oral medications, including chewable medications, and I'm happy to follow your dog's daily routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I'll keep you updated with messages and photos during each visit. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind. :) I work from home Monday through Friday, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, companionship, and supervision throughout the day when they are home with me. I can easily fit a walk, feeding, playtime, and medication (if needed) into my schedule. My flexible routine allows me to give pets plenty of attention while keeping them on their normal schedule. I provide a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at home. I also have a crate available for dogs that are crate-trained or owners who prefer crate time. I do have a fur baby of my own if your pup is friendly to other dogs, to keep each other company :) When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routine as closely as possible. I respect each home and make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I also am a picture person so i send regular updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing :)
“Dolly must have had a wonderful time with Beth and the family. I'm not even so sure she's glad to be home. Lol. We will definitely reach out to Beth next time we need Dolly to go in vacation.”

“I have to admit that I was skeptical at first with leaving our fur babies with anyone, but I knew I didn’t want to board them in a kennel. We were more than happy with Jim, and the way he and his family took care of are babies! We got pictures and updates everyday of how well they were doing. This was our first time ever using a dog sitter, and we would definitely recommend Jim to anyone! We will definitely be repeat customers for sure!!”

“Jean and her husband took amazing care of our dog Bronco while we were on vacation for a week. Bronco was well taken care of and Jean sent many updates and pictures throughout the week that gave us peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Jean to any family or friends needing a pet sitter. We already have a second booking!”

About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.
“First time using Rover and Tom was so great! He sent me pics which really eased my worries leaving my puppy with him. Alfie could not have gotten better care anywhere else, thanks Tom!”

“Very nice family that took great care of our dog. Very responsive with all communications and sent updates. Our dog required medicine and that was no issue. Would highly recommend and of course I would use again without hesitation. Thank you”

“First time using Rover and with Andrew and Chelsea I hit the jackpot!! Beautiful home and land for my Lab/mix to run and play. From our meet and greet to picking up Macy at the end of her stay everything was perfect! Thank you Andrew & Chelsea. I would definitely board with them again.”

About: Hi! I’m Lily, and I’m passionate about providing safe, loving, and reliable care for every pet I meet. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits. During visits, I can provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, lots of attention, and plenty of affection. I’m also happy to send photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I have years of experience caring for dogs through owning my own pets and helping care for dogs for friends and family. I’ve worked with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand that every pet has unique needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them comfortable. My schedule is flexible, and I’m available most mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I always make sure each visit is focused on giving your pet the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. My goal is to make every experience fun, stress-free, and safe for both you and your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! I am available almost everyday to fit your pet’s needs! I can do early mornings and late nights to accommodate your schedule. Give me a few days heads up so we can coordinate what works best for you and your pup I have a friendly medium sized two year old dog who loves to play. I also love taking dogs on walks if they’re better alone!
About: Looking for a calm, loving place where your dog will be treated like family? You've found it! I know how hard it can be to leave your furry best friend, so my goal is to make their stay feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible. Whether you need doggy daycare for a few hours, overnight boarding, or care for a long weekend, your pup will receive plenty of one-on-one attention in a peaceful home. One of the biggest perks? I don't currently have a dog of my own, so your pup gets my full attention without having to compete with other resident dogs. I work from home full-time, so they'll have companionship throughout the day, regular potty breaks, playtime, belly rubs, and lots of love. My home is set up with dogs in mind, including a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. Every dog has their own routine, and I'm happy to accommodate it. If your pup is crate-trained, I'm happy to continue that routine. If they prefer to free roam, they're welcome to make themselves at home. I have a naturally quiet household—no loud music or constant commotion—making it an ideal environment for dogs who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Whether your dog loves to play, snuggle on the couch, or simply nap in a cozy spot, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have two cats who live upstairs in their own separate area and do not interact with boarding dogs, allowing everyone to enjoy their own space comfortably. I know you're trusting someone with a member of your family, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll treat your pup with the same patience, affection, and care I'd want for my own pet, while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. “Dawn is incredible, she sent us a ton of photos and detailed updates throughout our girl Bailey’s stay. Bailey looked so happy in all the pictures and Dawn took great care of her. We’re so grateful to have found Dawn!”

“Lisa did a great job with our 1 year old lab Franklin, he was very happy there all day. Lisa sent us pictures of him playing. Would definitely use her services again!”

“Tania was amazing and my pet Daisy liked her very much . She sent daily updates and took my girl on long walks which she loves . When picking her up I saw her tail going nuts and that showed how much my pet liked her. She in fact offered her a toy that Daisy picked up when she was in her care . Thank you very much for the affection you showed towards my girl.”

“Julie and Caleb and their family are the best, they help me and my pup out so much even on a last minute call. They welcomed my pup like it was one of their own which we really liked. Will definitely be returning soon, thank you guys”

“Phenomenal experience. My dog has been exhausted since he returned home. He had so much fun with the other pups! So grateful to have found wonderful people to watch my crazy dog while I was away! Will be using you guys again!”

“Jennifer saved us with a last minute booking and it was a great experience for our pup. We will definitely book with her again. She kept us posted with updates and pics. Easy meet and greet because she only takes 1 animal at a time and does not have a pup, so I didn't need to worry about Sully getting along with another pup. Such a relief and peace of mind.”

“Janette was wonderful with my 7 months old puppy. He is extremely energetic, inquisitive, and playful . She shared pictures of him every day. He participated in the birthday of one of the furries of the household and had some of the home made treats! She answered my requests right away . I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her and will definitely come back again. Thank you for your love and care to our lovely puppy!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Reading
I was nervous about using this service because it was my first time. Lillian did above and beyond with my dog Oreo. She sent regular updates and pictures and made the experience amazing. She was also so kind and caring. I would trust her to watch him anytime. Thanks again Lillian, Oreo and I truly appreciate it 😊

We have used Liceth for years! The proof that our dogs love it with her is that the moment we pull onto her road the dogs get SO excited and they literally run off with her at drop off! Thank you for always loving our fur babies and taking such good care of them! See you next time!

Kanija was absolutely amazing with our dogs, Jade and Raia! From the moment we dropped them off, it was clear she genuinely cared about making them feel comfortable and loved. She treated them like they were part of her own family, and they truly felt at home. Her communication was outstanding throughout their stay. She kept us updated regularly, always sending thoughtful messages and plenty of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Seeing how happy and relaxed Jade and Raia were made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Kanija is incredibly attentive, caring, and trustworthy, and we would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

We were very rude in that we didn't drop her off and pick her up on time. Fernando was very accommodating and kind to our change up! He sent us plenty of pictures and updates letting us know she was settling in and made sure she had eaten breakfast. He took our booking last minute and responded extremely quickly. He is a little higher than the other dog watchers but the peace of mind is worth it to me. 10/10 would book again. Suki comes back tired and happy!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
