About: Ive had animals my entire life and have many years of experience taking caring of them both in home and while working at dog groomers. I treat every animal as if they were my own and can’t wait to love yours! I work virtually full time so I am able to care for your animals needs on a consistent and regular basis throughout the week and weekends. I can crate a dog easily. I can also walk, feed or meet any other needs for the fur baby while watching them at their home
About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I have worked with animals professionally since I was 16 years old and have spent the past three years working in animal shelters as a Behavior Specialist, helping dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments feel comfortable, safe, and successful. In addition to my shelter experience, I have four years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets. My background in animal behavior allows me to recognize body language, reduce stress, and provide individualized care based on each pet's unique needs. Whether your pet loves adventure, needs extra patience, or simply enjoys a consistent routine, I am committed to providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care while you're away. i’m currently working full time and have off on sundays and monday. On the days i work, i work 9-5:30 sometimes getting done earlier on occasion. I currently have a whole separate room to separate cats from my own. I work in animal welfare and know how important sanitization is a well.
About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.
“Diana was very accommodating & was able to help me out at the last minute. She did very well with my two dogs & they seemed to be very comfortable with her. She followed my detailed instructions & didn't appear to have any problems with my sometimes problematic dog. I would definitely recommend Diana to those who need a caring, responsible pet sitter.”

“This was my first time using a sitter instead of friends or family, so I was pretty nervous leaving my hyperthyroid cat who needs daily medication and has become very picky with food. Maggie was fantastic—she followed my notes closely, was patient with his routine, and made sure he was comfortable and eating. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such attentive and capable hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her, especially for pets with extra needs.”

“Alyssa was wonderful, caring, and prompt when taking care of our 7 month old boxer puppy during a drop in visit. She provided a summary and pictures of our puppy during her visit. Would Recommend her and will re-book with her for future appointments”

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life, from chickens, hamsters to cats, dogs, and even horses. I’ve helped care for cats and dogs for family and friends in the past, providing feeding, playtime, companionship, and general care. I genuinely love spending time with animals! I’m very patient and understanding, which I think is super important when it comes to pet care (and earning their trust!). I am a college student but I usually only have two classes in the morning, which leaves me free the rest of the day to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and love! I have a fenced backyard and a super friendly, medium-sized dog, along with a cat who spends most of her day exploring outside. If your pet needs privacy or separate space, I totally understand and have room to accommodate that.
“Samantha is the best!! We are always so sad to leave our pup home, but we know he’s in the best hands. She always updates us on her visits and sends the cutest pictures!!”

About: As a proud pet parent to three amazing pets, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. Family and friends regularly rely on me to care for their pets, and I'll treat yours with the same love, attention, and care as my own. I work as a personal trainer Monday through Friday which leaves me with a very flexible schedule. I am in control of my hours and have gaps throughout my work days giving me the perfect opportunity to use that time to care for your pets whether that means stopping in to check up on them or taking them on a walk! Also an excuse for me to get some exercise and help those high energy pets get theirs as well! I carefully follow all care instructions, respect your home and pets routine, and always double check doors and gates! Also understand pets body language making sure they feel comfortable at all times!
“What a lovely experience. From our initial meeting that gave us confidence, to the great communication throughout, we had peace of mind that our guy was being well cared for. The photographs and updates were so appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clare.”

“Jackie was very nice, came to meet me before she started and was here when expected. She had to clean up more than her fair share of pee with a new puppy and a jealous brother dog. Thanks Jackie for coming on short notice as well!!”

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, cats, and various small animals, I'm well-prepared to look after your beloved pet. As a current owner of two dogs(cockapoo and pitbull), five cats, and two guinea pigs, I'm comfortable with senior pets, administering medications (even to picky eaters!), and doing whatever it takes to ensure your peace of mind while you're away. I currently work a full time job with a block schedule so I know my availability ahead of time. Even on the days I work I am willing to stop by before and/or after work. I am great with late nights as my shifts end at 3AM I am respectful entering my clients home and willing to follow any instructions provided to me. If I am ever unsure about anything I will contact my client to ensure I’m giving their pets proper care.
“Amber did a wonderful job looking after our four cats. She was so pleasant to work with, was prompt, organized and followed directions well. You could tell she cared about the cats and that they were doing well. We can't thank her enough and hope to have her care for the kitties again!”
“Whitney is punctual, dependable and very kind to our animals. She completes all tasks as required and goes above and beyond. This is our first time using the service and we are thrilled. we will continue to use Whitney and the Service in the future, and look forward to a long time relationship with her.”

“Susan is a fantastic cat sitter. Our cat felt comfortable and cared for. She spent time with him ensuring he ate, exercised and received scratches and pets. Susan submits daily updates and photos providing the pet owner with reassurance that their pet is doing well. We're so appreciate of Susan.”

About: Your pet deserves more than just a sitter, they deserve someone who genuinely cares. Hi! I’m Danita, and caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly enjoy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog loves long walks, jogging, playing fetch, or simply curling up beside someone who gives them lots of affection, I’ll tailor their stay to their individual personality and routine. As someone who lives an active lifestyle, I especially enjoy taking energetic dogs on walks, hikes, or runs (with your approval). If your dog prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy spending quality one-on-one time giving them love, attention, and gentle exercise. My goal is simple: To care for your pet exactly the way I would want someone to care for mine. What You Can Expect: 🐾 Lots of love and attention 🐾 Walks, playtime, enrichment, and exercise 🐾 Optional jogs or runs for active dogs 🐾 Potty breaks on schedule 🐾 Fresh water always available 🐾 Medication administration if needed 🐾 Plenty of belly rubs and cuddles 🐾 Daily photo and video updates 🐾 Clear communication throughout your pet’s stay I know how difficult it can feel leaving your pet behind. I’ll make sure you feel connected every step of the way. My Care Philosophy: Every dog is different. Some need exercise. Some need patience. Some need confidence. Some simply need someone who makes them feel safe. Before every booking, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, favorite toys, feeding schedule, commands, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. I believe consistency creates confidence, and that’s exactly what I strive to provide. Exercise & Adventures: If your dog enjoys being active… We’ll have fun! I love: 🐕 Walks 🏃 Jogging 🌳 Nature walks 🎾 Fetch 🦴 Mental enrichment games I’ll always match your dog’s age, health, and energy level. Safety always comes first. Communication: You’ll never wonder how your pet is doing. I send regular: 📸 Photos 🎥 Videos 💬 Updates because I know they’re part of your family. Before Booking: Please tell me about: • Feeding routine • Favorite toys • Commands they know • Medications • Energy level • Potty schedule • Any fears or anxieties The more I know, the better experience I can create for your pet. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! ❤️🐾 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I enjoy staying active, so regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and even runs with energetic dogs are something I genuinely look forward to. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise or prefers a slower pace with plenty of affection, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care, consistency, and lots of love throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I closely supervise pets, keep fresh water available at all times, follow feeding schedules carefully, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care, and I’ll treat your furry family member as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing.
“It was so nice to be able to go on vacation and know that our two dogs were well taken care of. Getting updates and photos on each visit were icing on the cake! Thank you, Roberta!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family & friends over the years, and I’m looking to pet-sit/house-sit more often by using Rover! I have experience with dogs and cats. I mostly stay in the home while the owner is away to maintain stability for the pet, while owners are away on trips. I love spending time with animals and snapping funny or cute photos of them to share with their owners while they’re away! I’ll take good care of your fur-baby and show them lots of love! I’m available for walks, feedings, potty breaks and play time for individual days or several days at a time! I work full time M-F but can work remotely from your home and take breaks! I believe that pets are most comfortable when we stick to their schedules, so I do my best to keep to them! I also enjoy texting photos and updates to their owner.
About: I've had big dogs my entire life so I'm incredibly confident in my abilities to take the best care possible of your dogs! I get along great with dogs young and old as well as big and small and have had experience dealing with reactive dogs as well. I didn't have cats growing up due to family members' allergies but I have been cat sitting for a few years for my friends and I hope to one day own a cat as well :) I've also had experience working with fish, frogs, geckos, and other small animals. I love critters big and small and work great with all types of animals! I'm a senior at the University of Maryland with a fairly relaxed schedule so I have more than enough time to make sure I'm there for your pets in every way possible! I live in an apartment on campus so unfortunately I am not currently able to board animals but I have a car so I can drive to you and can access dog parks, pet stores, and vets easily if need be. I have no allergies to pet saliva or dandruff and am comfortable working with all kinds of animals!

We had a wonderful experience with Jenni! She was incredibly attentive, caring, and great with our dogs. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about making sure they were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. She kept us updated and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely book with her again!
Lily did a great job taking care of my fur babies! She sent me pictures with my babies. She sat in the yard and played with them. Gave them lots of love! Also, did a fantastic job keeping the pens and floor clean along with fresh bedding, food and water. I was anxious about having someone else take care of my babies but she eased my anxiety with how good she was with them. My babies were comfortable with her as well which made it even better. Definitely recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
