About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.

About: Ever since I was a little girl I had dogs in my life! I grew up with two little west highland white terriers who were the most energetic loving dogs I could ask for as a kid. Later we welcomed our golden-doodle into our family who has protected us and made us laugh everyday! He’s now 10 years old! For about six years dog sat for a neighbor who had a boxer and English bulldog. I dog walked and house sat for three summers for a goldendoodle and for three years dog sat for lab/mutt mix, two pugs and a cat. I also take care of my sisters two Rhodesian ridgebacks one who is 6 years old and one 5 month old as well as my other sisters golden retriever who is 5 months old. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I remember and every day they show me what it’s like to be loved. I am taking some time off before starting Physician Assistant school, so I have a good amount of time throughout the week to take care of your pets! I am very in tune with my dogs needs at home and love just spending time with whether it’s relaxing in the couch, going for walks or sitting in the grass. I understand some dogs may need to be crated or if there is no fenced in yard, they need to be leashed when outside. I can accommodate any need for your pets in your home!

I have worked at animal hospitals, shelters, spca, animal control, boarding facilities, and Philadelphia zoo. About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. About: Dogs have always been my favorite animals when it comes to having fun and forming connections filled with unconditional love, especially when it comes to more complicated dogs that need extra attention and care. I trained my previous dog, a Husky mix, from the time he was just 6 weeks old. I taught him to follow me closely and stay near me without a leash, as well as commands like sit, stay, and give paw. He also learned to use a potty pad during rainy or messy weather. I've received many compliments on how well-behaved he is for a young pup at just 9 months old and for his breed. I take him to dog parks and other parks where he can run around and get plenty of exercise. I currently work full-time at a restaurant in Center City from Friday to Monday. I keep my days open for dog sitting and other activities from Tuesday to Thursday. I personally prefer to provide services at the client’s home, ensuring both the dog and the owner are satisfied.
