About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! My family bred Pugs for over 10 years, and I’ve personally owned and cared for animals for more than 35 years. Over the years, I have owned Pugs, Labs, Bernese Mountain Dogs, an Italian Greyhound cats, bunnies, fish, and turtles — so I think it’s safe to say I’m a true animal lover! What sets me apart is the experience and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, whether they’re a playful puppy, an energetic dog, a senior pet who needs extra patience and attention, or a shy cat who takes a little time to warm up. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My work schedule can vary from week to week, with workdays ranging anywhere from 12-hour to 8-hour days, so I don’t have a set weekly routine. However, I do have flexibility throughout the week and will do my best to accommodate the days and times that work best for you and your pets. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to coordinate a schedule that provides consistent and reliable care. Communication is very important to me, so I’ll always do my best to plan around my work schedule and make sure your pets get the attention, care, and companionship they need while you’re away. I’m happy to care for pets either in my home or in their own home, depending on the service and what works best for the pet and their family. I believe pets are most comfortable when their normal routines are maintained, so I do my best to follow their usual feeding, walking, playtime, medication, and bedtime schedules. When caring for pets in their home, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and affection while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. About: I grew up on a farm, so taking care of all types of pets and animals has always been a part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was young and have obtained more skills in my professional career as a veterinary technician. I can do anything from feeding, walking, bathing, administering medications of all kinds, senior care, puppy care, and everything else under the sun! About: I've had big dogs my entire life so I'm incredibly confident in my abilities to take the best care possible of your dogs! I get along great with dogs young and old as well as big and small and have had experience dealing with reactive dogs as well. I didn't have cats growing up due to family members' allergies but I have been cat sitting for a few years for my friends and I hope to one day own a cat as well :) I've also had experience working with fish, frogs, geckos, and other small animals. I love critters big and small and work great with all types of animals! I'm a senior at the University of Maryland with a fairly relaxed schedule so I have more than enough time to make sure I'm there for your pets in every way possible!
