About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover inspired by Steve Irwin. I have experience with both cats and dogs, including large breeds like mastiffs. Friends regularly trust me to care for their pets while traveling. I prioritize calm, attentive care, maintaining routines, and making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after. As a full-time therapist, my weekdays are primarily dedicated to client sessions. I am most available for pet care on Thursdays through Sundays, which allows me to provide consistent, unrushed attention during those days. On my available days, I structure my routine around scheduled check-ins, walks, feeding times, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I prioritize reliability and clear communication with pet parents so they feel confident their pets are cared for while they’re away. This setup allows me to stay fully present with clients during the week while giving pets my focused time and attention on weekends and Thursdays. provide a calm, attentive, and reliable presence focused on basic care needs including feeding, walks, and play. My approach is centered on maintaining each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and making sure pets feel safe, seen, and cared for during every visit.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah, and I love all creatures, great and small. I am a highly professional individual dedicated to making sure my animal and human clients are equally satisfied. I have extensive experience in dog walking and pet sitting, with a specialty in rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and other exotics, in addition to many years of husbandry, training, and maintenance at horse boarding facilities and other farms. As a dog walker and pet sitter, I have cared for terriers to pit bulls; puppies to seniors with special needs. When you book a walk or a sitting session with me, you and your pet are guaranteed the following: -Prompt communication, including verification of time, location, and services -On-time arrival -Energy, care, and activity level catered to your pet's specific needs (either provide me with this information before hand, or I will be able to pick up on this within moments of meeting your pet) -Complete confidence in your pet's safety, even with the largest dog or most exotic reptile -A detailed report of what we did together, how your pet acted, and anything else particularly notable that came up during our time together Please feel free to inquire about anything you see on my profile, and I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon!

About: I’ve always had multiple dogs and cats in the house since I was born and was always the one in charge of taking care of them. My Wife and I are a young couple who just moved into a big house in the Mulenburg Area. We have 1 dog, Bella who is a Husky. She is extremely friendly and loves to play even though she is 13. We also have 1 cat, Kenobi that gets along well with other cats and dogs. I am a State Trooper so I do work weird hours and weekends however my Wife is always home and loves to be the main care taker of the doggos. Once I get home it’s all play time. We have a 3 story house with a nice sized backyard. The Doggos have free roam and they love it. We also have a secluded basement where the litter box is for the cat.

Lily did a great job taking care of my fur babies! She sent me pictures with my babies. She sat in the yard and played with them. Gave them lots of love! Also, did a fantastic job keeping the pens and floor clean along with fresh bedding, food and water. I was anxious about having someone else take care of my babies but she eased my anxiety with how good she was with them. My babies were comfortable with her as well which made it even better. Definitely recommend!

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Laureldale stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Laureldale choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Laureldale with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Laureldale. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
