About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.
About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.
About: Ive had animals my entire life and have many years of experience taking caring of them both in home and while working at dog groomers. I treat every animal as if they were my own and can’t wait to love yours! I work virtually full time so I am able to care for your animals needs on a consistent and regular basis throughout the week and weekends. I can crate a dog easily. I can also walk, feed or meet any other needs for the fur baby while watching them at their home

“Lily did a great job taking care of my fur babies! She sent me pictures with my babies. She sat in the yard and played with them. Gave them lots of love! Also, did a fantastic job keeping the pens and floor clean along with fresh bedding, food and water. I was anxious about having someone else take care of my babies but she eased my anxiety with how good she was with them. My babies were comfortable with her as well which made it even better. Definitely recommend!”
About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.
“I honestly can’t say enough good things about Amber! She made it so much easier for me to actually enjoy my vacation without worrying about my kitties the entire time — especially since two of them are still very young. She was incredibly attentive and sweet, sent me pictures and videos every day, and gave me updates at every visit, which meant so much to me. She was also extremely reliable and followed all of my care instructions perfectly, which gave me so much peace of mind. Because of Amber, I felt completely comfortable leaving my kittens for the first time. On top of all of that, she even tidied up my apartment before I came home, which was such a kind and unexpected touch! Amber went above and beyond, and I’m beyond grateful! I would ABSOLUTELY book with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets. If you want to leave your pet without any worry at all, and the best care for your fur-baby book with Amber!!”

About: Been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Family and friends rely on me to tend to their dogs and i’m ready to do that for everyone! Capable of caring for big and little dogs. I’m currently only working on the weekends. My week days are free and ready to help your furry friends. Pretty open to any day and any time. I want the doggies to warm up to me. Let me know how your dog works and I will adjust to them. Willing to come tend to any dogs needs whatever that may be. I have experience with many different dogs. I myself have a German Shepard and a Cavapoo so i am used to different sizes and energy levels

“Diana was very accommodating & was able to help me out at the last minute. She did very well with my two dogs & they seemed to be very comfortable with her. She followed my detailed instructions & didn't appear to have any problems with my sometimes problematic dog. I would definitely recommend Diana to those who need a caring, responsible pet sitter.”

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Im currently working a part-time job, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! Im available on the weekdays and the weekends! I will make sure when we are outside going on walks that we are in a safe environment and that we are not ever in any danger and while we are home l will make sure that the dog is not getting into trouble that it could harm itself if it’s gets into something it’s not suppose to!
About: I’ve taken care of pets for family & friends over the years, and I’m looking to pet-sit/house-sit more often by using Rover! I have experience with dogs and cats. I mostly stay in the home while the owner is away to maintain stability for the pet, while owners are away on trips. I love spending time with animals and snapping funny or cute photos of them to share with their owners while they’re away! I’ll take good care of your fur-baby and show them lots of love! I’m available for walks, feedings, potty breaks and play time for individual days or several days at a time! I work full time M-F but can work remotely from your home and take breaks! I believe that pets are most comfortable when we stick to their schedules, so I do my best to keep to them! I also enjoy texting photos and updates to their owner.

About: I have taken care of other friends dogs including senior dogs. I currently own a two year old black lab mix named Atlas. I love walking dogs and would love the opportunity to meet yours! During the school year, I am currently available 8:30-5 most days during the week. Boarding is also available in the evenings and on the weekends. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, there is plenty of space to walk in my neighborhood. I also have one dog who is friendly with other dogs. I am comfortable crating dogs when needed.
About: I have had pets since I was born and still do. I love taking care of them and enjoy their presence. They are my world. My best friend and I make sure that every pet gets the attention they deserve. We make it our responsibility to have their tails wagging and our hearts warm. I work a job that I’m only there for about 4 hours. Other than that I’ll be with your dogs and cats completely with my full attention. I feel all pets deserve walks and to be played with. I also give good cuddles!! Feeding whenever necessary and water bowl always filled. I also clean up the waste and brush hair/fur.
“Julianna was nothing but amazing. She took great care of my three dogs and even spent some time walking and playing with them to help burn off energy. She communicated well by asking questions which showed she genuinely cared for my dogs rather than just earning a check. One of them had an accident throughout Julianna’s visit but she didn’t hesitate to help with clean up and I’m extremely grateful for that. I highly recommend using her and plan to do so again myself in the near future.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life and cannot imagine life without them! Family and friends have relied on me to check in with their pets while away, and it always puts a smile on my face! I currently have one dog (mutt) and my sister has 2 (Vizsla and Weimaraner)! I’m currently in my second year of PA school, so my schedule is busy, but I am willing to work with you to help out when I can! Weekends work best for me. I am able to walk dogs and come for check ins! My goal is to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible while their beloved owner is away. I can easily feed and provide water to them, clean the litter box or yard as needed, take for walks and potty breaks, and of course play with them! If the yard is not fenced in, I will be sure to have your pup on a leash. I will also be sure to closely follow any specific instructions given.
“Samantha has been wonderful. She’s extremely communicative and so sweet, I felt 100% sure that she would take great care of our two kitties, and she really did. The daily pictures always made my day, and they warmed up to her quick! Whenever we travel, Samantha will be our first choice to take care of our fur children. :) thank you Samantha!”

Riley did a great job for us while on vacation! We were very worried leaving our Frenchie alone for that length of time, but knowing Riley was there to take care of her and keep her company made it less stressful. We would definitely recommend her and use her services again!
Jess was such a great care taker for our dogs. When we came over for a meet and greet with them she was very respectful of our existing rules and commands used. She was thorough in understanding their schedule and needs. One of our dogs takes longer to warm up to people and Jess was very patient to gain her trust so she could put the leash on her. She also gave great updates at her check-ins.

Mollie was our 1st ever Rover booking & our 1st ever single dog pet sitting visit request/need. We recently lost our oldest of the 2 boys …James has never been by himself in our home & since we lost our oldest Boy, James has started with separation anxiety…protest barking when we are out of his sight/alone. Mollie asked great questions at the meet & greet & was very good with James. We booked the 1 hour visit & were extremely relieved that James was so happy with Mollie❤️ she was prompt. Got James out for walks in the rain. Kept us updated during the visit…we will absolutely book again with Mollie.

Amanda is professional, personable, and reliable. I have never had anyone dog sit besides my mother and am new to this area- so I was a little aprehensive about a dog sitter, but having Amanda stop by a couple times a week helps out tremedously. She sends lots of pictures, and is very responsive. My dogs and I appreciate her visits...even my old dog Fiona, who is very hesitant of new people. Amanda is a fantastic dog sitter and I would recommend her services to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Shillington with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
