Took very good care of my Suki. Checked on her food and water levels and played with her. Noticed when Suki started digging a hole near the fence and made sure to cover what Suki was trying to get to! Thank you so much!!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them! Over the years, I’ve watched and walked pets for family members, friends, and neighbors, gaining experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I always make sure each pup feels loved, safe, and cared for like they’re my own. I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend lots of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, attention, and companionship while they’re in a comfortable environment. I also genuinely enjoy long walks in my personal time, so I’d love to have a furry friend join me for some extra exercise and enrichment! I work from home, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to provide reliable care and accommodate many scheduling needs. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and weekend drop-in visits and dog walks. If I accept your booking, you can count on me to arrive on time, communicate consistently, and give your pet the attention and care they deserve. If you have a specific schedule in mind, feel free to reach out, I’m happy to discuss accommodations whenever possible! When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s, I maintain a calm, clean, and pet friendly environment. I always double check that leashes, doors, and gates are secure, and I keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and cared for.

Lily did a great job taking care of my fur babies! She sent me pictures with my babies. She sat in the yard and played with them. Gave them lots of love! Also, did a fantastic job keeping the pens and floor clean along with fresh bedding, food and water. I was anxious about having someone else take care of my babies but she eased my anxiety with how good she was with them. My babies were comfortable with her as well which made it even better. Definitely recommend!

About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.

About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.

About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.

Julianna was nothing but amazing. She took great care of my three dogs and even spent some time walking and playing with them to help burn off energy. She communicated well by asking questions which showed she genuinely cared for my dogs rather than just earning a check. One of them had an accident throughout Julianna’s visit but she didn’t hesitate to help with clean up and I’m extremely grateful for that. I highly recommend using her and plan to do so again myself in the near future.

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, cats, and various small animals, I'm well-prepared to look after your beloved pet. As a current owner of two dogs(cockapoo and pitbull), five cats, and two guinea pigs, I'm comfortable with senior pets, administering medications (even to picky eaters!), and doing whatever it takes to ensure your peace of mind while you're away. I currently work a full time job with a block schedule so I know my availability ahead of time. Even on the days I work I am willing to stop by before and/or after work. I am great with late nights as my shifts end at 3AM I am respectful entering my clients home and willing to follow any instructions provided to me. If I am ever unsure about anything I will contact my client to ensure I’m giving their pets proper care.

We recently lost our oldest of the 2 boys …James has never been by himself in our home & since we lost our oldest Boy, James has started with separation anxiety…protest barking when we are out of his sight/alone. Mollie asked great questions at the meet & greet & was very good with James. We booked the 1 hour visit & were extremely relieved that James was so happy with Mollie❤️ she was prompt. Got James out for walks in the rain. Kept us updated during the visit…we will absolutely book again with Mollie.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family & friends over the years, and I’m looking to pet-sit/house-sit more often by using Rover! I have experience with dogs and cats. I mostly stay in the home while the owner is away to maintain stability for the pet, while owners are away on trips. I love spending time with animals and snapping funny or cute photos of them to share with their owners while they’re away! I’ll take good care of your fur-baby and show them lots of love! I’m available for walks, feedings, potty breaks and play time for individual days or several days at a time! I work full time M-F but can work remotely from your home and take breaks! I believe that pets are most comfortable when we stick to their schedules, so I do my best to keep to them! I also enjoy texting photos and updates to their owner.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah, and I love all creatures, great and small. I am a highly professional individual dedicated to making sure my animal and human clients are equally satisfied. I have extensive experience in dog walking and pet sitting, with a specialty in rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and other exotics, in addition to many years of husbandry, training, and maintenance at horse boarding facilities and other farms. Personally, I am the proud bunny mom to four free-roam rescue rabbits. In my lifetime, I’ve also owned and loved dogs, horses, rats, gerbils, hamsters, mice, turtles, aquatic frogs, and small lizards; I have cared for cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, parrots, goats, donkeys, and more. As a dog walker and pet sitter, I have cared for terriers to pit bulls; puppies to seniors with special needs. About: Your pet deserves more than just a sitter, they deserve someone who genuinely cares. Hi! I’m Danita, and caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly enjoy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog loves long walks, jogging, playing fetch, or simply curling up beside someone who gives them lots of affection, I’ll tailor their stay to their individual personality and routine. As someone who lives an active lifestyle, I especially enjoy taking energetic dogs on walks, hikes, or runs (with your approval). If your dog prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy spending quality one-on-one time giving them love, attention, and gentle exercise. My goal is simple: To care for your pet exactly the way I would want someone to care for mine. What You Can Expect: 🐾 Lots of love and attention 🐾 Walks, playtime, enrichment, and exercise 🐾 Optional jogs or runs for active dogs 🐾 Potty breaks on schedule 🐾 Fresh water always available 🐾 Medication administration if needed 🐾 Plenty of belly rubs and cuddles 🐾 Daily photo and video updates 🐾 Clear communication throughout your pet’s stay I know how difficult it can feel leaving your pet behind. I’ll make sure you feel connected every step of the way. My Care Philosophy: Every dog is different. Some need exercise. Some need patience. Some need confidence. Some simply need someone who makes them feel safe. Before every booking, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, favorite toys, feeding schedule, commands, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. I believe consistency creates confidence, and that’s exactly what I strive to provide. Exercise & Adventures: If your dog enjoys being active… We’ll have fun! I love: 🐕 Walks 🏃 Jogging 🌳 Nature walks 🎾 Fetch 🦴 Mental enrichment games I’ll always match your dog’s age, health, and energy level. Safety always comes first. Communication: You’ll never wonder how your pet is doing. I send regular: 📸 Photos 🎥 Videos 💬 Updates because I know they’re part of your family. Before Booking: Please tell me about: • Feeding routine • Favorite toys • Commands they know • Medications • Energy level • Potty schedule • Any fears or anxieties The more I know, the better experience I can create for your pet. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! ❤️🐾 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I enjoy staying active, so regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and even runs with energetic dogs are something I genuinely look forward to. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise or prefers a slower pace with plenty of affection, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care, consistency, and lots of love throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I closely supervise pets, keep fresh water available at all times, follow feeding schedules carefully, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care, and I’ll treat your furry family member as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing.

Jess was remarkably patient and kind with our little ones. This marked our first time leaving them, and our initial worries faded after her first visit. Our rescued young beagle and our nine-year-old beagle princess enjoy being around people yet are selective, and they adored her. She walked our older girl, Lola, and played with Jax outside. Having her watch our furry babies while sharing photos and staying in touch gave us peace of mind to enjoy our time away.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a West Lawn stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Lawn choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in West Lawn with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Lawn. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
