About: Hi! I'm a Purdue student and experienced pet sitter with a lifelong love of animals. Having grown up with both dogs and cats, I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, beginning with pet sitting for neighbors and family friends at age 10. I also have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering care and monitoring pets with seizure disorders. I understand how important it is to have someone attentive, reliable, and calm when your pet requires extra support. During the summer, I maintain a flexible schedule and provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for while you're away. About: I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality! I have experience caring for pets for family, friends, and others, as well as raising and training my own Jack Russell Terrier with basic commands. I’m patient, attentive, and love giving pets plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, some extra cuddles, or someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own! 🐾 I am a student at Purdue and have a lighter work load this semester. I have time before class, between classes, and after classes to commit to this! I have an apartment with no pets currently. My husband lives with me so he may be around your pet, but will not be proving any pet care services. We do not have a yard but I am more than willing to take the pets for a walk or to the dog park (depending on the dog). I also have friends houses with yards that I can use!

About: I grew up in a house that always had 2-4 large dogs at any given time. I often took care of them including walks and grooming, and did the same for neighborhood friends and family members as soon as I could ride a bike. In the past few years, I've also spent a lot of time around and caring for cats. As a graduate student, I currently have evenings free to drop in on pets when you're having a long day! My weekends are free for caring for your pets if you're ever out of town or need the hands! I'm comfortable with all kinds of dog and cat situations, and will take care to respect your home and keep your pets safe and cared for in that environment!

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and I feel as if animals have always loved me. Neighbors and family friends have always asked me to take care of their pets because they know I will do a good job at caring for their animals while also being responsible and mess free. I am open to compromise with my prices and promise that I will give you a bang for your buck. I have always had animals in my home and have cared greatly for them. I aspire to be a vet tech and enjoy volunteering at my local humane society. Because of my school schedule I prefer not to stay the night at houses, however I am willing if it is only for a small couple nights. I have lots of love to give for your 4 legged babies! I am currently a student at Purdue University, studying Veterinary Technology, so I have somewhat of a flexible schedule. I can almost guarantee care not only in the evenings, but also in the mornings. I have a car accessible on campus, and have managed pet care for others and college courses before, and find that it is easily balanced for me. I prefer not to stay the night at homes because of my school schedule, however am willing if it’s only for a small couple of nights. I care for pets in my home by ensuring my undivided attention as much as possible. Not only will I be there to care for your pet, I will also be there to love your pet. Being with animals is a true passion that has always been with me, and I can get along easily with any pet! I am responsible and stick to any feeding schedule that you may have, and I also love going on walks with pets or playing fetch with doggies!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs ever since I was a little kid. I had 2 childhood dogs and currently have 3 dogs back in my home state of Illinois, one Labrador and two lab mixes. I absolutely love dogs and know what’s required to keep dogs happy and healthy! Pretty much the only animals I don’t love are bugs, and I have pet sit for neighbors back home and watched dogs, cats, and even rabbits! I do need to disclose that due to a recent development of chronic wrist pain, I am unable to walk dogs that have a tendency to pull on their leashes, however outside of that task, I'm able to do just about anything else to keep a dog healthy, happy, and entertained. I am currently a full time graduate student at Purdue, with about 2-3 hours of classes per day. There may also be other times I am unavailable due to exams, class projects, or doctors appointments, but outside of class times I generally have a very open schedule to attend to your pet's needs. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for pets in my own home at this time as my lease does not allow animals of any kind.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and other people’s pets my whole life (25+ years). I grew up with a rescue sheltie named Kali and watched my neighbor’s cats as a kid. After high school, I attended Purdue University to get my B.S. in Animal Science and gained experience working with animals of all varieties (small, large, wildlife, laboratory, exotics). I became passionate about animal medicine and decided I wanted to go to veterinary school. I got into the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine after only three years of undergrad and have been studying there the last four years. Throughout my schooling, I have gained 8 years of training in various small animal clinics as well as the Purdue Small and Large Animal Hospitals. I am Fear Free Certified for dogs and cats and am comfortable working with any species of any size. I am able to provide quality medical care to any pet such as oral or injectable medications, subcutaneous fluids, monitoring heart rates, respiratory rates, mucous membranes, pulses, blood pressure, Libres, Holter-monitors, and other supportive care your pet may need. I have received extensive CPR training for dogs and cats and have worked with pets in any condition you can think of (geriatric, neonatal, critical condition, post-operatively, diabetics, Addison’s, hyper/hypothyroid, seizure dogs and cats, heart diseases, neurological disorders, non-ambulatory, etc.). You name it, I’ve probably seen it before! I currently have an adorable and loving beagle named Marshall who is a retired research dog. I also had a cat named Sylvie that I rescued in Ohio, but she passed away very recently. Let me know if you have any other species at your home that need attention! I love all pocket pets, birds, reptiles/amphibians, rabbits, and other exotic pets. I also love horses, pigs, llamas, alpacas, chickens, goats, cattle, sheep, and any other farm animal you might have on your property. I am currently a part-time student and have a flexible schedule. I can work with you to arrange what is best for you and your pet’s needs, and will ensure that my calendar is updated regularly with my availability. I will respect the safety and wishes of my clients in regards to caring for their pets in their households or while out on a walk. I believe that trust can be established by listening to a clients desires and goals and devoting myself to helping the client achieve them.

About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.
