About: I’ve had animals growing up, and been relied on by neighbors and friends to take care of theirs when they take trips. These include going over to feed them, walk them, and make sure they got company while the family was away! I enjoy taking care of animals when I can, which is why I love pet sitting and meeting more people around the area of West Lafayette. My schedule is pretty flexible with notice, so can work with you on time and dates through excellent communication. I have an apartment that is animal friendly with a roommate that loves dogs and cats! We’re a household that enjoys each others company and will provide a warm environment for your pets.
“Camila was wonderful! She took great care of our dog and communicated well. I loved the pictures and notes she posted. She sure made our trip worry free regarding our dog. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I'm a Purdue student and experienced pet sitter with a lifelong love of animals. Having grown up with both dogs and cats, I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, beginning with pet sitting for neighbors and family friends at age 10. I also have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering care and monitoring pets with seizure disorders. I understand how important it is to have someone attentive, reliable, and calm when your pet requires extra support. During the summer, I maintain a flexible schedule and provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for while you're away. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, my goal is to make them feel comfortable, loved, and cared for just like they would be at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the summer, I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care, regular visits, and timely communication. I carefully manage my commitments to ensure pets receive the attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship they need. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, a long walk, or overnight care, I strive to maintain their normal routine and make their time away from you as stress-free as possible. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and household rules. I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including seizure disorders, and understand the importance of attentiveness, punctuality, and clear communication. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pet and the home with respect. I make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and supervised appropriately, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how they're doing.

“Sheree is doing a great job walking Fiona. We are scheduled for three days a week and she shoes up on time, takes Fiona on a variety of routes, and brings her back tired and happy. Fiona is a pittie mix and still young and frisky, but Sheree handles her wonderfully.”

About: I am an animal science student with a concentration in animal behavior and wellbeing. In the agricultural community, I raised and showed an award winning rabbit. Last semester, I was an animal care intern at Columbian Park Zoo. I have nearly a decade experience working in pet care. In addition, my family fosters animals. I am seeking employment in pet care to fill my spare time with a furry companion. I have a flexible schedule in the morning and evening during the week. I am available Thursday-Sunday for weekend stays. When I was in third grade, my family opened our home to foster animals. Throughout the last 11 years, we have cared for animals with parvo, double ear infections, malnourishment, etc. The foster organization trusts us to nourish these animals back to health and prepare them for their forever homes. When I visit client homes, I spend quality time with animals providing them with enrichment. I pride myself on reliability, my clients trust and depend on me to care for their beloved pets. In addition to my experiences, my coursework focuses on animal behavior and wellbeing which helps enhance my services.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Lafayette
Abby was available with very short notice, less than 12 hours while we were in her town visiting family. Just had her do a qui Ck one time lunch walk for us. She communicated well, asked questions about our dog’s personality, checked in frequently, and shared pictures and videos with us. Excellent choice for our first time using Rover! 10/10 recommend her!

Joyce has been an absolute gift to both us and our dog. She is dependable, kind, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand our dog’s personality and needs, and it shows in every interaction. Joyce communicates well, is consistently reliable, and gives us real peace of mind knowing our dog is in such capable hands. Beyond simply walking dogs, she genuinely cares for the animals she works with, and that level of trust is hard to find. We highly recommend Joyce to anyone looking for a thoughtful, professional, and compassionate dog walker.

I can’t recommend this Mia enough! My dog has separation anxiety and have accidents frequently, and she has handled everything with so much patience, kindness, and understanding. She never made it feel like an inconvenience and truly went above and beyond to make sure my dog felt safe and cared for. What really stood out to me was the extra effort she put in, especially taking the time to clean up accidents even though it wasn’t her responsibility. That level of care and professionalism meant so much to me and gave me real peace of mind. She is reliable, communicative, and always sent updates that showed how attentive and compassionate she is. It’s clear she genuinely care about the dogs she works with. I highly recommend Mia to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!!

Azure was absolutely amazing with Furgie! She sent the cutest photos throughout the walk, which truly made my day and gave me so much peace of mind. She was incredibly patient with him the first time she picked him up. Furgie was a little bit scared seeing someone new, but she took the time to calm him down, and it was clear from the beginning that Furgie really liked her and felt comfortable around her. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I only wish she were available more often, but I know that is because she has classes, but any time Azure is available, I would 100% hire her again without thinking twice. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter! Thank you for leaving the Polaroid photos of Furgie. That’s so sweet of you. I loved it 😍💖

Damon is a top notch caretaker of my two big old boys. He is always on time when he picks them up for walks, he takes thorough notes about all their potty stops, he adds pictures and a summary of each walk. He really makes me feel close to my babies when I’m gone. I cannot recommend Damon highly enough for dog walks.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
