About: I’ve had cats since I was 8 years old. With the 16 years of experience with cats, I believe every fur baby needs a home away from home. Like with every pet parent, I strive for the best with my cat. If you choose me to watch your fur baby, I will provide the best and safest environment for them. Do they need a room to themselves? You got it. Has explosive diarrhea? I have cleaning supplies. Medical issues? Another way to keep me on my toes. I hope you consider me as a prospective aunt to your kitter cat or doggo and can’t wait to fill up my camera role with adorable pictures. I look forward to hearing from you 💕 I am a grad student at Brandeis University. My classes are usually over by 2 pm, so after then I’m usually at my apartment caring for my cat and completing schoolwork. So needless to say, I have a lot of flexibility within my schedule for your pets individual needs. If I am doing home visits, I would like to visit the clients home a day or two prior to the arranged visit(s) to understand the animals needs and to see if we would be a good fit. I believe it is important to establish an understanding with the animal in question before I frequent the premises so there isn’t any unnecessary stress for your pet. In regards to boarding, I have a medium sized apartment that would be good for any cat or small-medium dog. There are multiple grassy areas for bathroom breaks and walks around the premises. You will have to provide me with your animals usual schedule (times for bathroom breaks, when and how much time are committed to walks, feeding times, etc.) so I can build my set around them and their needs

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10. I dog-sit and cat-sit, and I have even bird-sat before. I have shadowed dog trainers and aided with behavioral therapy dog certification tests, and I volunteer at Best Friends shelter for dog walking. I am very adaptable to what works for each dog, because I know everyone has individual needs! I won't tire or get short with a puppy, and I can just provide companionship and support to senior dogs :) I know how to read a situation and how to avoid a stressful or potentially volatile situation with another dog, and as such, I will act accordingly because nothing is more important than keeping you pet safe and happy! For the background of my pet experience, in my parents' home, which I grew up in, all our pets (2 cats and a dog) have their own beds on the floor next to mine, as well as one or two others in the living room, basement, etc., so they can always hang out with us. We have a yard where they go out and play in or get sun, and take them on walks on the daily. For my cats we have 2 cat trees, and it turns out they prefer window sills and beds anyway, so we leave blankets out for them. We feed them 2x a day with wet and dry food, and will give dental bones to our dog and treats usually daily. In your home, I wil respect all your house and pet rules, treat your things and pets with respect, and give them love and attention until you return home! Pets are what brighten my day. When I come home from school, the first thing I do is greet them, and when they greet me with a smile on their face and their tails wagging, I forget the stress of the day. They make my whole life better. I try to dogwalk at the local shelter on weekends, and say hi to any and all dogs I meet (obviously checking in with the owners first) I currently live in an apartment with a roommate; however, she will never be left alone or in any way in charge of caring for your pet. I will never leave your pet alone with her or anyone else for the duration of their stay with me. They will be given treats and food as you dictate, and they will be loved, cuddled, walked, and treated as the King or Queen of the house. I promise to cherish your pet as if they were my own, because I know (and I am of the opinion of this too!) they are more than pets, they are family.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years, both professionally and personally. I currently work as a veterinary technician, so I’m very comfortable with pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. I have experience administering medications, caring for senior pets, working with puppies, and recognizing when something just doesn’t seem right. Before working in veterinary medicine, I also did dog sitting and dog walking throughout college, so pet care has been a part of my life for a long time. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m a huge animal person and treat every pet like they’re one of my own. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and plenty of attention so you can feel completely comfortable while your pet is in my care. Pet care is already such a natural part of my everyday life that it honestly doesn’t feel like work to me. I have several pets of my own, so my days already revolve around feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, medications when needed, and making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. Between caring for my own animals and working professionally as a veterinary technician, looking after pets has become second nature to me. Adding another pet into my routine feels easy and natural rather than like an extra chore. I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals, so giving them the attention, exercise, affection, and care they need is something I look forward to rather than something I have to squeeze into my day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I live in my own three-bedroom home with a finished basement, so there is plenty of space to give pets their own area, quiet time, or separation when needed. I have two dogs of my own: a smaller senior dog who generally prefers to keep to himself, and a 6-month-old puppy who is crate trained. I’m able to manage introductions carefully and keep dogs separated when appropriate so everyone can stay comfortable and safe. Because I work in veterinary medicine, I’m very mindful of behavior, stress signals, health changes, and safe handling. I always supervise interactions closely, follow each pet’s normal routine as much as possible, and make sure they have a secure, calm environment while they’re in my care.
