About: I was raised around pets my whole life. I currently love and care for my own two cats while assisting friends and family with their fur babies. I am comfortable walking, brushing, bathing, feeding, and cleaning up after dogs. I am a recent doctoral graduate and am hoping to fill some time caring for our four legged friends. I will be out of work for about two months, so I will be available most days and times unless I am out of town. I am clean, respectful, and safe especially in others’ homes. I will only enter areas of the home necessary for pet care and cleaning up after myself and pet if any messes are to be made!

I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.

About: My name is Kalin and I just moved to Boise from Marquette, MI this month. I've lived with dogs my whole life up until this move. Not currently having a dog has been strange and I would love to be around them more! Before I moved, I spent years as a volunteer at a local shelter where I would hike the shelter dogs (with varying degrees of leash manners) to get them out and about. I also socialized puppies and fostered dogs that were long-time shelter residents, dogs that were unable to be adopted out at the time and dogs that had physical/behavioral challenges. I’ve owned both senior dogs and puppies and I love ALL dog breeds. (: I’m taking a bit of time off from work to get settled in as I just moved to Boise - so I have plenty of free time. I plan on returning to school in the Spring of next year for nursing and will continue to walk dogs then, but will have more of a schedule to adhere to. I love being active and would love to have a dog pal to bring with me on walks. I'll happily provide your fur baby with love and attention while you're away so that you can have some peace of mind. I know leaving pets behind can be stressful and you can rest assured they'll be safe and cared for with me. I'll follow any specific instructions left for me and I'm sure to always have dogs in an enclosed area or on a leash. I've owned some pretty high-maintenance and high energy dogs in the past that I've been nervous to leave with dog-sitters. I understand wanting them to be taken care of and comfortable and I would absolutely provide that for them and you. I'm also very self-sufficient, detail oriented and clean. I know your home is your space and will respect it as I would like my home to be respected.
