“Michaela and Ousta cared for Barney on his first ever boarding experience. We met ahead of time at a park and they both immediately put me at ease due to his playfulness and kindness with Barney, and her attention to detail as she learned of his personality and routines. He settled well in their home, had lots of playtime and exploration in their yard. I received photos of him active and happy and doing well, throughout the week. Michaela said something that really came to be true … “while they are with us, they are family.” I can highly recommend this family for conscientious and kind pet care 😊”

“I am so thrilled my first experience with dog-boarding on Rover was with Jordan! She was so pleasant to work with, very communicative, and even held a meet and greet with Strike. Being this was our first time boarding her outside of family, I felt very relaxed and glad Strike was at a good home.”

“Lauren was so good our pup Bran, she gave us plenty of updates and photos during his stay. We also appreciated that she accommodated us even if it was last minute. Definitely will book again in the future!”

“Paige took great care of our dog while we were out of town. She was very communicative and he seemed to love getting lots of love and pets from her! Highly recommended!”

“Charis was so amazing with my energetic pup! She was extremely accommodating, friendly, and made me feel so comfortable leaving my dog with her while I was camping. I highly recommend Charis to care for your pet knowing they’re in such good hands!! I look forward to booking again on my next camping trip”

About: I'm retired with a dog who I got as a puppy and i have never left his side. He has been socialized and well behaved and a good role model for other dogs. Unlike my last dog, he enjoys playing with puppies. I am currently retired and have a flexible schedule. I take my dog out everyday for hikes, swims, paddle boarding, cross country skiing/snowshoeing, fetch or the dog park. He is very social and would love company. I have a small fenced back yard, but exercise my dog outside my home everyday . I like to predict what a dog will do to prevent conflict.
“Theresa was wonderful. She was quick to respond and was able to watch Bailey with very short notice. We received updates while away and we came back to a very happy pup. We will be using Theresa again in the future!”

“Claire was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! She made sure they got plenty of exercise and attention. I could tell they were happy and comfortable in her home. I highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and attentive dog sitter.”

About: My family has owned dogs all my life, from Pugs to PitBulls. I started dog sitting when I was 16 years old for close family members and family friends. I am currently working part-time . Anytime after 12pm I am able to stay/ visit with your pet. I can also stay over night if that fits your needs. I have experience cleaning houses and an Air Bnb, I will keep your space neat and tidy for you to come home to after a vacation.
“Our girls, Sophie and Tanq, had a great time staying with Tonya. She sent lots of pictures and communicated often. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in her care. Tonya is very personable and responds quickly. We will definitely have our dogs stay with her again.”
About: Dogs have always been a part of my world, home training, loving, caring and fostering fur babies has been my pleasure. It’s an honor to be given their trust and affection and to provide safe shelter for them to develop and explore. I currently have a 5 yo Pom. I often have cared for friends’ dogs in my home. I have not yet found a dog I didn’t love and who took to me as well from pit bull to poodle. I present them with a calm gentle presence and they generally respond the same. They bring so much love and joy to my life and help keep me moving and healthy as well. I can keep on schedule with their meds and routines and keep in touch with you so you can know how they are doing. I am retired and very flexible on times and days. I am open to caring for your pets in my (condo) home or yours. I prefer a small (under 25 lbs preferably) dog for in my home. I am restricted to two pets at a time (including my Pomeranian) so only accept one at a time. That ensures your dog will receive lots of attention. I have direct access to yard that is far off streets and great for running and playing. If unsure, I keep your fur baby leashed and walk or run him/her 3 times or more each day. I can apply meds but no injections. There is one other dog besides mine in the condo building who is friendly and playful, and one Chin in the next building who is shy and stays away from others except occasionally. Your pup will be safe and secure.
“Thank you Rover.com for helping me find the kindest and sweetest pet sitter! Sandi B is now my new go to! I did not worry or stress one time about leaving Posey with her. She even did a meet and greet before the 6 night stay so when I dropped posey off she was running to get into Sandi’s house! My dog was so excited! And now I am so excited to meet such a wonderful dog sitter! Thank you Sandy for taking the stress out of finding the perfect spot for Posey! You made my husband even happier because he didn’t have to take the dog on vacation! Thank you thank you!”

About: I am a lifetime dog owner/lover. My husband and I have a little dog and young cat, both of which have a lot of personality, that we love and adore. I'm a huge fan of getting outside and spending quality time with my furry companions. I love to meet new dogs- each one has their own distinct personality and I consider myself highly intuitive/adaptable to each type of dog I meet! Whether it's walking, hiking, playing, lounging, or hanging out with family, everything is better with a dog around. I have years of experience with all sorts of dogs with special needs: administering medication, diabetic dogs, dogs with seizures, dogs that need to be kept separated, dirty dogs (bathing), and more. When you have dogs all your life, experience comes with and fondness is unavoidable! I’m home most the week, outside of Thursday and Friday evenings. I plan my day around the needs of my animals and assure that they have everything they need and are never left wanting. I live in an apartment with my husband on the edge of town but am very close to trails and love going on walks in the park or along the canal. Getting outside with our dog (and the dogs I care for) is a massive priority. This includes meeting any needs they may have.
“Gia did amazing! We received photo updates regularly and they even gave him a birthday party. My kids were so sad to not be with him on his birthday but that definitely made them feel better! I would definitely rebook again in the future! You will not regret booking them!”

“Danielle took an excellent care of our English Springer Spaniel. From the very first moment our Cookie felt comfortable and friendly atmosphere. We got enough pictures throughout the day. And Cookie enjoyed his walk with Danielle. Once in the area we will definitely use her service again.”

“Gabby is just lovely! Super responsive. Super flexible. And her home is a veritable playground for dogs who just wanna have fun! My outgoing, almost two year old standard poodle LOVED being with Gabby, her dogs and her 4 children. DOGGY HEAVEN!”

About: I have experience in helping my mom and grandma with their dogs. I truly enjoy caring for them. I love getting outside and playing with them. I currently work 3 days a week at the hospital. I have flexibility to care for pets during the week. I normally have about 4 days a week I could help. Safety is paramount. I always ensure each pet is safe for the duration of their stay with me. I treat each pet as if they’re my own.
