“Chad/Gia were great! I appreciated them being flexible with drop off/pick up times and keeping me updated on how Bronco was doing during his stay. I definitely recommend!”

“Grace was amazing, she sent so many updates, and videos. I can tell bluey had so much fun, and was so well cared for. Bluey will be back to hang with Grace again. Thank you so much .”

“Paige took great care of our dog while we were out of town. She was very communicative and he seemed to love getting lots of love and pets from her! Highly recommended!”

“Best sitter ever! Coco loves it there. She follows food plan and sends photos that reassure me and helps me stay in touch with my fur baby. Highly recommend though I hope she doesn’t get too busy to be available. Lol”

“We can tell Bobo had a fabulous time with Laird and other dog friends. Thank you for taking such great care of him and your flexibility. We will definitely book Laird again next time!”
“Jordon and Cody were absolutely incredible with our curious Blue Doberman puppy. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they provide a genuinely dog-friendly home — warm, welcoming, and set up in a way that makes dogs feel safe, comfortable, and engaged. Their fenced backyard was perfect for exploration and play, and our pup settled in faster than we ever expected. Jordon’s qualifications and experience with dogs were evident in everything she did. Her calm confidence, deep understanding of canine behavior, and natural ability to connect with our Doberman puppy gave us complete peace of mind. The frequent check-ins and wonderful pictures each day were such a gift — every update showed a happy, well-cared-for puppy, and allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing he was in the best hands. I could not give a higher recommendation for Jordon and Cody. They are a blessing to have in Wenatchee, and we are truly grateful to have found them. We will absolutely return for future stays.”

“Niki was wonderful. She picked up and dropped off Judy for us which was a lifesaver. Judy came home exhausted from playing and even made it home with a toy that she became attached to during her stay. We will definitely be using Niki again!”

“Another great stay for Maggie with Kenneth and Ziggy! Great communication. Wonderful care. Maggie loves her times with the two of them. Kenneth was very accommodating when our trip was a bit longer than expected. Will certainly use again.”

“Lauren was so good our pup Bran, she gave us plenty of updates and photos during his stay. We also appreciated that she accommodated us even if it was last minute. Definitely will book again in the future!”

“Would highly recommend Theresa H and will be our first choice in the future. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we met Her. The regular text messages and pictures were an added plus. It was clear that Sadie was well taken care of. We had just taken her to the groomers days before our visit and when we picked her up 4 days later she looked and smelled the same. We appreciate her and will most definitely use in the future”
“We were very satisfied with the care that Tonya gave our dog. She sent pictures a couple times a day and he seemed very happy to be there. We will definitely call her again when we need a dog sitter.”
About: My name is Jenny and my life is happily-centered around dogs. I've just relocated back to Washington from Ireland. I've been with Rover and Pawshake in Dublin for many years and have many great references and reviews! I spent many years involved in dog rescue and volunteered at The Humane Society in Seattle for 8 years. Doggie Care is a full-time gig for me and aren't I so lucky!! I am committed to providing a loving environment for all doggies. I know all too well how difficult it can be to leave your dog for any period of time. I will check in with you with updates and photos. I don't take in a lot of dogs for overnight boarding because we know how important individual attention is, especially when they're away from their most familiar surroundings. We will provide transportation to and from your home in a fully insured vehicle with doggie seatbelts for an additional fee, or you’re always welcome to drop them off and pick them up from our home. Your dog will never be left alone. If we are on an individual walk with another dog, someone entrusted will always be with your dog. We have a large and fully enclosed private backyard. There is a covered area, and we keep the outside potty areas clean and sanitised. There's plenty of cosy areas to snuggle up in our home. I am very familiar with adhering to special dietary and medication needs. I am experienced to give injections (typically insulin) and oral medications. I recognise the needs of every dog is different. Your dog's happiness, health, safety, and comfort are my foremost priority. We ask that your dogs are fully vaccinated, flea-free, and don't have any aggression problems that we would be unaware of. If your dog is not spayed or neutered, please discuss this with us. We do not take in females that are currently in heat, but we do know what to do if it happens in our care. If you have a puppy, potty-trained is essential, please let us know ahead of time if this is something you are still working on. My 2 Great Danes and 1 dachshund are the absolute joys of my life. They are incredibly well socialized with people and other dogs of all sizes with zero reactivity even when faced with challenges. I’m enormously proud to me their mama! Your dog will be treated with the same love, care and respect for the individual beings they are too… Please don't hesitate to contact me for any additional questions. I will respond quickly and look forward to hearing from you! Kindly, Jenny 🐾♥️🐾 I'm always home caring for my dogs, and yours. If I have to be away for any reason or a short amount of time, a long entrusted person will always be with them. Doggie Care is what I do. Your dog will never be left unsupervised. Although my dogs often eat all together, some doggie guests might feel more secure eating by themselves. This is always something we will work around. Individual walks are a priority too. My dogs, and my guest dogs are always treated like the family members they are. they get lots of cuddles, playtime and exercise! Their happiness, health and safety are of the upmost importance and priority. This is a dog house, for sure... Although we always keep it clean and organized, the dogs are allowed on furniture. If you prefer to not allow this, just let me know and I won't let any naughty habits form while you're away. If your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in their crate, we have the space to accommodate that too. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, or fears I should be aware of. Their happiness and safety always matter.
“My small dog’s favorite place to go. He gets so much attention from Gabby’s adorable kids and he has tons of fun hanging out with a few other nice dogs. Gabby really pays attention to your instructions and goes above and beyond to make it all happen!”

“We had such a great experience! They took wonderful care of our lab, Ellie for two nights, and she had so much fun playing with their dog. We loved the updates from Jennie and it was so nice not having to worry about her while we were in town for our wedding reception! We felt completely comfortable knowing she was happy and in great hands. Ellie came home happy and tired from all the fun! We would absolutely book with them again!!”

“This was my first time using Kaelyn and she was able to take my dog in last minute. Communication was easy from start to finish. She sent me photos within hours of dropping Ginger off and the next day. I would recommend her and would use her again.”

“Joseph took great care of my shed machine while I was gone for a few days. He provided daily updates and made sure my dog got his daily exercise. He also has an adorable dog named Maggie who was a great companion during the stay. My flight got cancelled and he was flexible to extend my dog's stay without any pushback. 5 stars goes to Joseph and I would not hesitate to board my dog with him again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Waterville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Waterville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Waterville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
