“Gia (and Chad!) were great dog sitters to Kiwi. I got fun photos and updates of the great time she was having! I had a last minute change to my trip and they were super understanding and flexible. Thank you for being such a wonderful doggy caretaker!”

“Laird communicated well and was easy to work with. We received updates and pictures during our dog’s stay. He clearly has a genuine care for dogs. We would definitely leave our dog with him again!”

“Michaela and Ousta did a great job caring for my pup while I was away for work! I received lots of pictures and updates the whole time, so I knew she was n good hands the whole time!”

“Jordan and Cody H. took such good care of Buddy while I was away. It was such a great comfort knowing he was in loving hands. I can tell he completely enjoyed himself with their family. I don't feel I have access to enough words to fully convey the high level of gratitude I have for the care they gave my little Buddy while I was away.”

“We've used Brandi as a sitter a couple times now. Our girl Bailey is a bit of an alpha and Brandi is able to handle her. Hopefully Bailey won't wear out her welcome!”

“Lauren has cared for my Golden Retriever, Astro, for two overnight stays and has been wonderful both times. The first stay was for a week, and the second was for two nights. Astro is always so excited to see her, and it is clear how well she cares for him. She is dependable, caring, and someone I trust completely. I will absolutely continue to use her going forward whenever she is available.”

“Grace was amazing, she sent so many updates, and videos. I can tell bluey had so much fun, and was so well cared for. Bluey will be back to hang with Grace again. Thank you so much .”

“Tina took awesome care of our little Woogie. Woogie is a senior dog with sight and hearing issues and Tina took extra care to make sure she felt safe and happy in the house and with the other doggies there, who were very nice to woogie. Will definitely send Woogie there again next time we're in town and need a place for Woogie.”

“Paige took excellent care of my dog, Little Pup. She was scared and timid, but Paige communicated with me and shared photos and adjusted to make her feel as comfortable as possible while she was away from home.”

“Turns out we didn't need a sitter because the hotel misinformed us about their pet policy. They did allow pets (for a fee!). Tom and Jennie were very helpful in working with us to minimize the impact of this misinformation. We appreciate them!”

“Would highly recommend Theresa H and will be our first choice in the future. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we met Her. The regular text messages and pictures were an added plus. It was clear that Sadie was well taken care of. We had just taken her to the groomers days before our visit and when we picked her up 4 days later she looked and smelled the same. We appreciate her and will most definitely use in the future”
“Kaelyn was our lifesaver when she agreed to a last minute booking from us. Our dog Charlotte was so very well taken care of by her. We were sent updates and pictures daily and Charlotte looked so happy! Kaelyn kept Charlotte active with walks and plenty of outdoor play time. Thank you welcoming Charlotte into your home and caring for her.”

About: I've taken care of our family dogs, cats, pets, and farm animals since the age of 7. We're an animal lovers household here at Walk and Sit with Maggie. We specialize in small to medium dogs for drop-ins, walks, daycare, boarding, and sitting needs. When Maggie is not napping we walk in the morning between 6am and 9am. Lunch walks are from 11am to 2pm with evening adventures at 6pm to 11pm. At Maggie's home we are fully secure with video monitoring, garage play area, and fenced back yard. For additional exercise we leash walk at the park and visit off-leash areas. Customer approved adventures prior to travel.
“Samantha was wonderful. She took great care of our two dogs. She provided excellent communication and our dogs were happy and comfortable with Samantha. So happy we found her!”

“Gabby is just lovely! Super responsive. Super flexible. And her home is a veritable playground for dogs who just wanna have fun! My outgoing, almost two year old standard poodle LOVED being with Gabby, her dogs and her 4 children. DOGGY HEAVEN!”

“Tonya was great. Very accommodating and competent. She has a very positive, friendly attitude and Keller seemed to enjoy her stay. She kept us updated with "just-the-right-amount" of pics and info. Will definitely stay with her again.”

“Kirby, her husband,Drew and both doggies were very welcoming to Sandy. It was Sandy’s first rover overnight and they knew how to draw her into the house so she was comfortable letting us go. The next thing we know we received pics of her relaxing on the couch and feeling Ike part of the family! Sandy came home without even an inclination that she spent the night somewhere without us! Additionally their beautiful home is very easy to access off highway 2 in Leavenworth. Like one minute from the highway. Will love to join this home for our dog in the future. Please search them out if you need sitting in the Leavenworth area!”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Entiat home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Entiat.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
