About: I have a lot of experience with animals, I have been managing a pet boarding facility for the last five years, taking care of and working with pets. I’ve also been housesitting and looking after pets for a couple clients for last three plus years. I have worked with pets who have needed medication (not shots but willing to give them if properly shown how to), nutritional/physical needs, and senior animals. I am currently a full-time college student. My class and work schedule are new to me. However, I am flexible and open to discussion regarding your pet's needs. About: Any and all dogs I will play with them non-stop until they are tired and take a nap. I don't care what kind of special treatment they need if that's what they need they will get it. i would one day like to have and run a dog daycare one day and this will be good practice. It’s an honor to be given their trust and affection and to provide safe shelter for them to develop and explore. I currently have a 5 yo Pom. I often have cared for friends’ dogs in my home. I have not yet found a dog I didn’t love and who took to me as well from pit bull to poodle. I present them with a calm gentle presence and they generally respond the same.They bring so much love and joy to my life and help keep me moving and healthy as well. I can keep on schedule with their meds and routines and keep in touch with you so you can know how they are doing. I am retired and very flexible on times and days. I am open to caring for your pets in my (condo) home or yours. I prefer a small (under 25 lbs preferably) dog for in my home. I am restricted to two pets at a time (including my Pomeranian) so only accept one at a time. That ensures your dog will receive lots of attention. I have direct access to yard that is far off streets and great for running and playing. If unsure, I keep your fur baby leashed and walk or run him/her 3 times or more each day. I can apply meds but no injections. There is one other dog besides mine in the condo building who is friendly and playful, and one Chin in the next building who is shy and stays away from others except occasionally. Your pup will be safe and secure.

“Joanna is amazing! We knew when we met her that our dog would be in great hands. She's kind, caring, responsible, and our dog loved her. We were gone for two weeks and got photos and updates every day. It was obvious from the photos that our dog was relaxed, well cared for, and having a great time! We had a mishap with our travel and got stuck overseas for several days, and Joanna was kind enough to extend our dog's stay over Christmas and even took him on vacation with her. Our lucky dog clearly had a wonderful time with Joanna and we felt great leaving him in such good hands. We'll definitely rebook with her--I think our dog would be heartbroken if we didn't!”
