“Hannah did a wonderful job watching my dogs. She is so caring and compassionate. I will definitely be reaching out to her to watch them again if needed. Thank you, Hannah! 😊”

“Amorena was great with my anxious, senior dog. She responded promptly and sent regular updates while I was away - including pictures! I really appreciated her professionalism and how caring and understanding she was of my dog’s needs.”

“Jenaya was kind and gentle with our pets. Both of them can be skiddish but near the end of her visits, they were excited to see her and sitting in her lap! She understood instructions well and was very helpful/flexible. She even helped grab a couple of packages that were left outside the apartment. Will definitely be using her if we ever need services again!”

“Jenn took incredible care of our charcoal lab! She checked in on him when asked, played with him, took him for walks, and helped him be some happy at home while we were away! It was so amazing not having to worry about our dog because we knew he was being so well cared for! Jenn sent pictures and updates and was very easy to communicate with. I will definitely hire her again!”

“I feel very comfortable leaving my pets in Lauren’s care. I don’t have to worry about what’s happening at home when I’m on vacation and I love seeing the cute Rovercard pictures!”

About: My family adopted an old dog from the Humane Society in my hometown back when I was younger. He died six months later because he was so old and had been abused by his previous owners. Soon after that, we adopted two foster kittens from a family friend of ours and named them Jack and Jill. They were the cutest and sweetest cats ever! Recently, I rescued a four-year-old rabbit named Boba. I have volunteered and have taken classes at my local Humane Society back at home for about two years. Personally, I have taken care of my friends and family's dogs and cats for about three years and have gotten paid to do so. I love bringing dogs on hikes and walks. I usually take care of them for a day or have them stay with me for up to a week. I have also visited friends' houses to take care of their dogs or cats. I have loved animals since I can remember, and I would love to take care of yours, too! I currently work at home, and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to pause my day for a moment to care for your pet and their needs. I currently live in a warehouse loft in downtown Wenatchee and am close to several pet-friendly parks, as well as the beautiful Riverfront Park walking path. Whether caring for your pet at my home or yours, I’ll provide lots of love, attention, playtime, and outdoor walks or potty breaks to keep them happy and comfortable.
About: Ever since I can remember, I have loved dogs. I would love to walk your dog! Friends & Family have always trusted me with their pet! I adore animals and treat them the way I’d want to be treated. I love dogs of all sizes and ages, and can accommodate anything for the pet. I guarantee you can trust me with your furry family member! I currently work part time in housekeeping, so I am looking for extra work in my free time to keep me busy! I am available most times- unavailable Sunday before 12pm and unavailable Thursday after 6pm I raised & trained dogs for family members, so I know dogs very well. I currently have a cat named Cano & she is indoor only. I play with her every day and take her outside on a harness so she can enjoy the grass & sunshine safely. I am dependable at following directions & highly motivated to take care of your pet the way you do.
About: Your dog gets a happy, low-stress stay in their own home, and you get the photos to prove it. I'm a Fear Free Certified pet care professional with hands-on experience from a doggie daycare and volunteering at the Humane Society. I know how to read dogs, keep them comfortable, and make your absence feel like a fun staycation instead of a stressful one. What you can expect: Daily photo updates (clients tell me all the time, "aww, they look so happy") and video calls anytime you want to check in Tailored play & enrichment — I match the energy to your dog, whether that's a senior who wants gentle company or a young pup who needs to burn it off Fear Free methods for shy, anxious, reactive or senior dogs Bonus: I also run a small batch dog treats and cake business so your pup may get spoiled Optional grooming add-ons available on request; nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, face & paws touch ups (I'm a former professional groomer) Let's chat about your pup! I work around my clients' needs. Early morning feedings, late-night potty breaks, weekends. message me with your dates and I'll confirm quickly. I respond fast and rarely turn down a booking I can make work. Safety first, always. Before every stay, I do a quick walk-through with the owner to identify any hazards, confirm feeding and medication routines, and make sure I know emergency contacts and the nearest vet. I always double-check leashes, collars, gates, and doors before heading out; escape prevention is non-negotiable, especially in unfamiliar environments. Trust & respect for your home. I treat your space like my own. I clean up after myself and your pup, communicate proactively if anything comes up, and send daily photo updates so you always know how things are going. If something unexpected happens (a torn toy, a tummy upset, a chewed shoe) you'll hear from me right away, not when you get home. A calm, enriching environment. I'm flexible and tune into each dog's personality. Some want cuddles on the couch, some want a long walk, some need quiet decompression time. I incorporate gentle enrichment (puzzle toys, sniff walks, training games) and use Fear Free techniques to keep anxious or senior dogs comfortable. If your dog is nervous around grooming tools or handling, I can also do light desensitization work during our time together.
“Miranda checked on our cats while we were gone for the weekend and took great care of them! We will definitely reach out next time we plan a trip and need a reliable pet sitter.”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs since I was 7. I love going for walks with dogs and being there when needed. I am very available and dependable. I have stayed over night, taking care of relatives and close friend’s pets for around 4 years. I also have volunteered at the humane society, working with dogs and cats. I work a part time job and I go to school but I can do check in’s, walks, and over night stays to take care of pets when needed! I walk dogs, feed them, clean up after them, and I groom my own dogs. I spoil these pups and often get toys and treats for my own.
“Niki was great with my 8 week old puppy. She came to visit before to the drop-ins to go over the details. She was always on time and send amazing photos of my pup. I would definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a young child. Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me to care for their pets. I worked for a veterinarian for 5 years. I have cared for senior pets and administered oral and injection medications. My husband and I have done house/pet sitting for dogs, cats, and horses. We have administered medications and taken care of changing bandages on injuries. I currently work part time so I will be available to spend much time during the day to play with your dog. Also when I am at work for just a few hours in the evening my husband and daughter, both dog lovers will be available to love on your pup as well. I am also available weekends. We have a large fenced yard with two of our own energetic dogs that love to have play pals over. We also enjoy taking our dogs on walks or out for a run in near by fields as long as you the owner are comfortable with that. Our dogs also love our kiddie play pools and running in the sprinklers to cool off. Our home is not large but very pet friendly. We enjoy our four legged family members and they are welcome in most all areas of the house. We have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to run and play. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wenatchee
Kenneth is wonderful with my dogs. He takes them for long walks with lots of sniffs which makes their day. One of my dogs is a bit feisty and Kenneth Dog, Ziggy is very mellow and won my dogs trust immediately. When I get home, my dogs are exhausted and content which makes for nice and relaxing rest of day for all of us. 😃

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
