“Kenneth is wonderful with my dogs. He takes them for long walks with lots of sniffs which makes their day. One of my dogs is a bit feisty and Kenneth Dog, Ziggy is very mellow and won my dogs trust immediately. When I get home, my dogs are exhausted and content which makes for nice and relaxing rest of day for all of us. 😃”

“Wendy was easy to deal with, took great care of my dogs, and even went the extra mile by taking them for a walk. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to all of our friends!”

About: Hello! I’ve been living in Leavenworth for the past year and I’m highly interested in getting more involved with the community! I currently cannot own a dog or cat of my own due to my living situation. I have experience of taking care of dogs since I was a teenager. I love taking care of and being in the presence of dogs and cats. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs, staying active outside whether that’s playing ball or going for a walks etc. I’m a very respectful, kind and caring lady. I would love for you to reach out to me! I’m available Thursday Late afternoon-Sunday Evening. The rest of the week I will not be available. I am a flexible person and I have transportation. I’m very kind and respectful to all my clients privacy/ personally space. I take full responsibility of the care I’m providing and I’m grateful to be spending time with pets.
“Paige did a great job taking care of our two cats. They have completely different personalities and eating styles. Getting one of them, Charlie, to eat is a challenge. Paige was persistent, kept us updated, and was successful. We appreciate Paige's fine care of them and will use her in the future.”

“Amorena was great with my anxious, senior dog. She responded promptly and sent regular updates while I was away - including pictures! I really appreciated her professionalism and how caring and understanding she was of my dog’s needs.”

“Chelsea was great! She communicated well, was flexible with a changing schedule and took great care of my kitty while I was gone. Thank you Chelsea for your great care, I highly recommend!”
About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs, including two family dogs I grew up with and my own well‑loved pup, Maeve. That lifelong experience has given me a strong understanding of canine behavior, routines, and comfort needs. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to providing safe, reliable care — whether that means structured walks, calm companionship, or keeping a dog’s routine consistent while you’re away. I work full‑time during the week, so my availability is focused on evenings and weekends. After work, I’m consistently available for walks, drop‑ins, and check‑ins, and weekends give me plenty of flexible time for longer visits or extended care. My schedule is steady and predictable, which means you can count on reliable communication, on‑time visits, and consistent care for your dog. I take safety and trust seriously, and I work hard to create a calm, secure environment for every dog in my care. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep a clean and pet‑friendly space, and pay attention to the little details that help dogs feel comfortable and at ease. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I stay alert, use safe handling practices, and communicate clearly so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is to make every visit feel safe, consistent, and stress‑free for both you and your pup.

I can ensure I will have plenty of time to care for your pet and any needs they have! I’m a caring, responsible, and animal-loving pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets of all personalities and sizes. About: I've taken care of our family dogs, cats, pets, and farm animals since the age of 7. We're an animal lovers household here at Walk and Sit with Maggie. Lunch walks are from 11am to 2pm with evening adventures at 6pm to 11pm. At Maggie's home we are fully secure with video monitoring, garage play area, and fenced back yard. For additional exercise we leash walk at the park and visit off-leash areas. Customer approved adventures prior to travel.
About: I’ve house sat and taken care of dogs and cats for many years. I love going on long walks with my dogs and giving them the attention they deserve. I would love to take care of your animals and give them plenty of attention. I am a stay at home mom and can care for your animal the whole time I’m sitting them. I have a 5 year old silver lab and she’s very friendly with other dogs. I have a doggie door and a partial fenced yard. The majority of my yard is unfenced. My dog is very friendly and would love the company.
About: Dogs have always been a part of my world, home training, loving, caring and fostering fur babies has been my pleasure. It’s an honor to be given their trust and affection and to provide safe shelter for them to develop and explore. I currently have a 5 yo Pom. I often have cared for friends’ dogs in my home. I have not yet found a dog I didn’t love and who took to me as well from pit bull to poodle. I present them with a calm gentle presence and they generally respond the same. They bring so much love and joy to my life and help keep me moving and healthy as well. I can keep on schedule with their meds and routines and keep in touch with you so you can know how they are doing. I am retired and very flexible on times and days. I am open to caring for your pets in my (condo) home or yours. I prefer a small (under 25 lbs preferably) dog for in my home. I am restricted to two pets at a time (including my Pomeranian) so only accept one at a time. That ensures your dog will receive lots of attention. I have direct access to yard that is far off streets and great for running and playing. If unsure, I keep your fur baby leashed and walk or run him/her 3 times or more each day. I can apply meds but no injections. There is one other dog besides mine in the condo building who is friendly and playful, and one Chin in the next building who is shy and stays away from others except occasionally. Your pup will be safe and secure.

Also, my son and I help walk the neighbors dogs whenever she needs and my schedule allows. I work Monday and Tuesday at 3 pm so I can fit in a walk before that. I am also free Wednesday or Thursday anytime before 4 pm. I am dependable and trustworthy. I will respect your wishes and listen to your advice and recommendations on what is best for your specific pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
