“Liseli is kind, loving and cared for our golden retriever, Fletcher in our home. We felt very safe leaving our senior pup in her care. She sent texts and photos to us each day to let us know how he was doing. Since he is a rescue, it is important for him to stay at home when we have to be away. We will definitely be having her stay with Fletcher again!”

“Ann was a great pet and house sitter. Our pets (Oscar & Lacey) loved her, I actually think they miss her. She was a great communicator and sent us photos while we were away. We would definitely ask Ann to sit again and again!”

About: I have yet to meet someone who can out-dog-person me! Dogs are the best part of life. I have a German Shepherd and an English Pointer who face the brunt of my dog voice, personalized jingles, etc., - but out of respect for their patience I'm offering my services to other dogs! I have experience ranging from potty training new puppies to distributing meds to senior dogs and caring for them post-operation. I love to bring my dogs (and yours) on outdoor adventures in our midcoast community - hiking, swimming, lounging in the sun, and breaking out the snowshoes for winter. We'll wear each other out! I work at a public school and am a grad student, so I have lots of flexibility during the summer months and school vacations when folks tend to need travel care for their dogs. I'm a grad student and an educator at a public school - so I have school vacations (including summers) off. I have great availability on weekends and after 3:30 every day. I live in a small house with two big dogs (one being a senior hound), which is why I don't offer care for your pets at my own home. I will utilize whatever safety plans you put in place when I care for your pet - whether you have a dog that's great in your fenced-in backyard or a flight-risk that needs to be harnessed and leashed.
“Beth is fantastic! We were away for more than a week and she stayed with our cat (a sometimes challenging cat!), and he was incredibly cared for. She went above and beyond, and we will definitely have her care for our kitty again should the need arise. I can’t recommend Beth highly enough.”

“Hannah was fantastic!! She took excellent care of our animals and our home while we were gone for a week. I would recommend her to anyone - very caring and sweet! We were always kept up to date on our animals and their adventures with Hannah!”

“Christi was a terrific house/pet sitter for us. She sent daily updates of activities and pictures of our cat, Lucy, and young golden retriever, Pepper. Pepper is a bit of a handful and Christi spent a lot of time with her on walks, car rides and clicker training. We really appreciated her efforts. The daily communications reassured us that our pets were in good hands. It was nice to see how Lucy snuggled right up to her. We were greeted by happy pets on our return and a tidy house. We highly recommend Christi for a pet sitter.”

“Gillian was great. This was our first time and she was thoughtful and caring. I was nervous at first but after meeting her I was put right at ease. She sent updates and pictures. She was warm and very friendly. Our pup was well cared for. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve never not had a pet in my house hold, owning cats, dogs, and even lizards and hamsters over the years. Growing up I also pet sat for birds, snakes, dogs, cats, and fish as well as worked on a horse farm for two summers. My own personal dog is a senior lad at the age of 14 years and have a kitten at home. Ive worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pups, kitten and full grown cats. I love to spend time playing and petting them (if thats what they want) and will do my best to love them a fraction of what you do to keep them happy while you’re away! I work in Portland until 4pm every week day and get back to the area around 5. I would be free to care for your pets from around 5:30pm-6:20am. I can feed, walk, brush, pet, and/or play with any of the animals you may have tailoring to whatever best suits their needs, I am an animal lover and want to best support the critters in any way I can in your absence.
“Geoffery has been caring for my pets for some time. I’ve added a couple more pets to the mix and Geoffery has been such a caring and compassionate pet sitter for every one of them. They look forward to seeing him when I’m away and that’s a huge comfort!”
“Candi was great to work with. This was my first time being apart from Zoey since I adopted her a year ago. Candi took time to get to know Zoey and bond with her enough that I felt comfortable leaving Zoey in her care. It was a great weight off my mind to know that Zoey would be well taken care of and comfortable while I was away. I can definitely recommend Candi and hope to turn to her again, many times in the future!”

“Erin did an amazing job with my fur babies. Would absolutely book her again! My house was clean and she washed bedding! She also did a lot of shoveling snow while we were away! So appreciative of all she did!”

About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.
“Nicole is very communicative and caring. She jumped in to help with a very last minute request. She is calm, and is really sweet with the dogs. We had to end the booking early due to concerns with my dog’s behavior but I’m thankful she was able to flag the issues early on. She is easy to work with and your dogs wills be in great hands.”

“Carla was wonderful with our dog and cat. Our elderly cat, Ellie, was in her final stages of life, but we felt comfortable leaving her with Carla, who updated us daily, or more, on her declining health. Unfortunately, we said goodbye to Ellie the day we got home. But, we're glad she was with such a caring person her final week of life. We would enthusiastically recommend Carla as your pet sitter.”

“Jedan is amazing!!! She stayed at our house for about a week and cared for (and spoiled!) Kimmie as if she were her own, buying her toys/treats and even cooking for her. She kept us constantly updated with messages and photos and was extremely respectful. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“Penelope stayed in our home and took wonderful care of our pup and home while we were away. She is kind, responsive, and was a thoughtful and responsible guest — even going above and beyond to clear our deck and sidewalks after a snowstorm. We came home to a happy dog and clean home, and we couldn’t be more grateful!”

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.
