Please clearly state your pets needs, including the time and duration they can be alone - in the event other arrangements need to be made for mid day potty breaks. My coming and going schedule can likely be provided upon request. For clients who allow my partner to join me on my sittings (who is insured under my private sittings insurance), there is the ability to offer more frequent potty breaks as him and I typically work opposite schedules. No other guests/ friends/ family will ever join me during a dog sitting. Constant Care: Constant care is applied to any sitting that doesn’t allow me to leave for more than 4 hours of the day, per day. Constant care rates start at $200/ night (additional rates still apply) and increase based off of pet’s needs. Please understand this service may not always be available and interferes with ongoing mid day clients, as well as my availability for my other job. Price reflects alternative arrangements I need to make for existing clients. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out! I currently only allow one family for boarding at a time. Prices reflect solo care and not having to worry about exposure to other dogs during their stay. I currently have one cat in the home - a 12 year old Maine Coon mix who is very relaxed and tends to mind her own business. Between my boyfriend and I, there is always someone on property, so potty breaks can be provided frequently!

About: I absolutely adore animals. I recently got my masters degree in natural resources and am now working for the state in Augusta. I grew up looking after my neighbors' dogs and cats and over the years I have looked after the pets of many of my friends. This always brought me joy and so I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members :) I would happily take your dog on walks and hikes, play fetch, and give them lots of love and attention. I promise to treat them as I would my own pets, which means an endless stream of love and attention. I currently workong full-time but work from home 3 days a week, so I have some flexibility in my availability for pet sitting. I recently had to say goodbye to my own sweet dog, so I am available to do drop in visits or walks, and could keep you pets at my house for overnight visits or stay at your house overnight. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

This past summer, my family and I got a new puppy from Midcoast Humane, his name is Sol. I don't know how I went eight years without such a buddy! About: I have dog sat many times including friends, family or even coaches. I have 3 Labs at home so I am more than prepared for any obstacle! I am very flexible and am usually always available during the week and during the weekends! I am an Athlete but will work my schedule around any conveniences! About: I've grown up with German Shepard's being bred in my home, have been surrounded and trusted all of my life with pet care from a very young age by friends and family. Have my own dog now, Nahla, who is very loved & well behaved. Depending on the temperament of your dog we can introduce, or your dog and I can have a solo adventure if that's what they'd prefer too! I'm currently available any day of the week, during any daytime hours, and for multiple hour excursions. My work schedule (for the time being) is very flexible, so I am able to create my own hours. I am currently only taking dogs on hikes/ long walks at the moment, no overnight stays. But you can always expect your dog to be taken care of like I would my own when we are in our adventures. My dog is my baby, therefore my #1 responsibility, and you're dog will be treated the same. 💙 You can always expect hikes to: 1. Be close in proximity to emergency vet centers. 2. Always include an emergency first aid kit, including blood stop, and dog safe benadryl incase your pet were to suffer from an allergic reaction to a bee sting or anything else. 3. Have water, food, and treats on stand by. I ask that you provide food, however I will provide treats, unless directed otherwise. Treats are always consciously chosen, the ones I have right now are real duck & turkey treats that are 100% grain free, no fillers, no synthetic colors, or artificial flavors. We can discuss portions that you allow. 4. Have whatever needs your dog might have be 100% into consideration- wether that be pace, different terrain for different agility levels, or medical conditions that limit them. I want your dog coming back feeling satisfied, tired and also proud of themselves. But not overworked or ever in pain / worse condition from when they left. Some dogs can go for miles, Some just for a while- and that's okay! We will also go over the charachter of your dog, and interactions they prefer/ to avoid. If they like kids, socialization, other dogs, ect. If your dog doesn't enjoy socialization then I will find a more secluded trail so it's not over stimulated. My dog prefers old male dogs that are super relaxed and play mildly, so I also understand that finding friends for our pets is sometimes situational and I want to try to find the right fit for your pet so they feel happy and secure in the experience each time. 5. All the love & attention I can wrap up into the length of our hike!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs cats rabbits and horses ever since I was 10. I’ve cared for new born kittens as well as senior cats at the Humane Society for almost 10 years. And cared for my neighbors’ dogs. From volunteering I’ve learn much about behaviors for both dogs and cats and have discovered I have a talent for working with them. Before they begin their daily naps , I play with each of them. They range in age from 19 to 1 yr. I also check their water bowls throughout the day or night depending. I can give them treats anytime. I also have learned various medical skills and hope to go back to school for a third degree as a vet tech and if life allows veterinary practice.

I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: I have a passion for dogs. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and health needs including medication, special diets, and have experience caring for injuries and elderly dogs. My partner and I both work full time with rotating schedules. Most days someone is home. On the few days where we are both working, the dogs are free to go in and out of the dog room to the fenced in area outside. I have a 2 year old lab/golden retriever who loves all other dogs, loves to play, and really enjoys having other dogs around. We have a dog room downstairs with an open door to a covered patio and fenced in grass area for the dogs to play, cool off, and use the bathroom at their own needs.
