âGillian was attentive and patient with our dog. As always, she was wonderfully communicative and extremely eager to make sure my wife and I, as well as our dog, were comfortable.â

âI canât say enough good things about Amanda. We had a meet and greet with her dog, Wally, about a week before Amanda came to stay at the house. I liked her right away. She was warm, thoughtful and wanted to know exactly what she needed to do to take care of my pets. The day I left, my dog, Scout, was so excited to see Wally again. She was so engaged with him that she didnât care that I was leaving. I felt good knowing Scout was already having a great time. Wally was also great with my cat, Mia. Sheâs already used to dogs and Wally left her alone so she felt comfortable being in the same room with him. Amanda sent a lot of pictures and videos and kept me informed of how Scout and Mia were doing. When I came home, the house was clean and I could tell my pets had been welll taken care of. I will definitely have Amanda come pet sit again!â

âClaire was amazing. She took great care of my kitties and was happy to serve as a sofa for the older one. She sent me pictures every day! She left the house clean and the bed stripped. I would recommend her to everyone!â

âHayleigh was so attentive to our dogs and their individual needs. She was great at communicating while we were gone. Hayleigh even made an extra trip to our house to meet the dogs and learn about their daily routine. I will definitely be booking her in the future and recommend her to any dog parent!â

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.
About: Hi, Iâm Lindsey! Over the past 25years, Iâve had the joy of caring for pets, and itâs been an incredibly rewarding experience. I believe pets are family, and finding the right person to look after them while youâre away is crucial. I take this responsibility seriously and approach every pet with the same love and care I give to my own. Caring is embedded in my nature and when I'm not loving on my pets or caring for others fur babies, you can find me working as a nurse. I'm currently the owner of a special needs dog and feel comfortable caring for those pets that need a little extra care. Ask me about my pet wedding service I offer! As a nurse, I have a flexible schedule that allows me the freedom to have days off with no work obligations so I can give my full attention to caring for your pet. I know that ensuring your pet has a safe environment with someone they trust is of utmost importance, so a meet and greet prior to confirming services is required. I tailor my approach based on the unique needs of each pet and their owner. When caring for pets in my home, I offer a safe and comfortable environment with ample space to play, opportunities to potty and protected sleep space. My pets are used to a structured environment, which allows them + visiting pets to settle into the new arrangement with ease. In your home, I focus on maintaining the familiar routines and surroundings that keep your pets comfortable. I follow any specific instructions you provide and adapt to your pet's habits and preferences, ensuring they feel secure and loved. My experience has equipped me with the skills to accommodate a variety of needs, whether itâs sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, or providing extra attention and care. Overall, my goal is to provide seamless care for your pet so they feel safe, secure and calm while their owner is away. Daily updates with pics or videos will be sent to ensure the owner feels safe, secure and calm while they are away as well! Prior to your departure, a plan for emergencies will be discussed and I will ensure I have all necessary phone numbers and contact information.
âWe were away visiting family for a month and it was the first time in a long time that someone besides a good friend of mine stayed at our house with our 3 cats. Of course I was a bit nervous with having a new sitter but Jill quickly put my concerns at bay. She was wonderful with communicating and sending photos of the cats so I was ensured that they were getting great care. Jill was also fantastic with keeping me up to date on other house issues. When we returned home, despite her being there for a month, the place looked like nothing had happened! Jill left the house so clean and had also take very good care of the outside areas. We could not have been more pleased and grateful with her stay and help!â

âgwendolyn was absolutely perfect for our greyhound. She arrived early and completely made us feel comfortable leaving Saber in our hotel room with her. Gwendolyn has a warm personality and is trustworthy and reliable and great with our dog. We would certainly use her again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.â

âHannah was fantastic!! She took excellent care of our animals and our home while we were gone for a week. I would recommend her to anyone - very caring and sweet! We were always kept up to date on our animals and their adventures with Hannah!â

âPatricia cared for our elderly dog, Dunkin. She followed all our directions and took care to give him everything he needed. I'm sure he enjoyed going with her to her work and being in new places. We will definitely consider hiring her again.â

âWe got lucky to find Caitlin available as I scrambled to find last minute care for our 11 week old puppies. She sat them two days in a row for a total of 14 hours in our home. We recommend her to everyone. Great personality, excellent communication, and she can give you home styling on the side! Yay.â

âStephanie did a great job with Luca, and they bonded after a day or two. She sent me pictures of him while I was gone, and even washed all the linens she used. Will definitely be using her again!â
