“Thank Ann! She was everything we hoped for and more. We have a cat who can be a challenge, with his funny ways and she rolled with it - even turning him into a friend. Can’t thank her enough! Also, she left the house as near or neater than when we left! Truly grateful!!”

“Claire was amazing. She took great care of my kitties and was happy to serve as a sofa for the older one. She sent me pictures every day! She left the house clean and the bed stripped. I would recommend her to everyone!”

“Beth is fantastic! We were away for more than a week and she stayed with our cat (a sometimes challenging cat!), and he was incredibly cared for. She went above and beyond, and we will definitely have her care for our kitty again should the need arise. I can’t recommend Beth highly enough.”

“Gillian was attentive and patient with our dog. As always, she was wonderfully communicative and extremely eager to make sure my wife and I, as well as our dog, were comfortable.”

“We were away visiting family for a month and it was the first time in a long time that someone besides a good friend of mine stayed at our house with our 3 cats. Of course I was a bit nervous with having a new sitter but Jill quickly put my concerns at bay. She was wonderful with communicating and sending photos of the cats so I was ensured that they were getting great care. Jill was also fantastic with keeping me up to date on other house issues. When we returned home, despite her being there for a month, the place looked like nothing had happened! Jill left the house so clean and had also take very good care of the outside areas. We could not have been more pleased and grateful with her stay and help!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Amanda. We had a meet and greet with her dog, Wally, about a week before Amanda came to stay at the house. I liked her right away. She was warm, thoughtful and wanted to know exactly what she needed to do to take care of my pets. The day I left, my dog, Scout, was so excited to see Wally again. She was so engaged with him that she didn’t care that I was leaving. I felt good knowing Scout was already having a great time. Wally was also great with my cat, Mia. She’s already used to dogs and Wally left her alone so she felt comfortable being in the same room with him. Amanda sent a lot of pictures and videos and kept me informed of how Scout and Mia were doing. When I came home, the house was clean and I could tell my pets had been welll taken care of. I will definitely have Amanda come pet sit again!”

“Rachel is wonderful and reliable even when I have last minute calls. Lenny is well loved and Rachel’s communication is just enough for updates without being overwhelming. I immediately rebooked her following her first stay!”

About: I have yet to meet someone who can out-dog-person me! Dogs are the best part of life. I have a German Shepherd and an English Pointer who face the brunt of my dog voice, personalized jingles, etc., - but out of respect for their patience I'm offering my services to other dogs! I have experience ranging from potty training new puppies to distributing meds to senior dogs and caring for them post-operation. I love to bring my dogs (and yours) on outdoor adventures in our midcoast community - hiking, swimming, lounging in the sun, and breaking out the snowshoes for winter. We'll wear each other out! I work at a public school and am a grad student, so I have lots of flexibility during the summer months and school vacations when folks tend to need travel care for their dogs. I'm a grad student and an educator at a public school - so I have school vacations (including summers) off. I have great availability on weekends and after 3:30 every day. I live in a small house with two big dogs (one being a senior hound), which is why I don't offer care for your pets at my own home. I will utilize whatever safety plans you put in place when I care for your pet - whether you have a dog that's great in your fenced-in backyard or a flight-risk that needs to be harnessed and leashed.
“We were so happy to have Elizabeth stay with our dog and cat and have only the highest praise for this experience. She really made a point of connecting with them and keeping them safe and happy. She was professional but also warm and caring. We could tell that they, and the house, were in good hands and would definitely use her again.”

“Hannah was fantastic!! She took excellent care of our animals and our home while we were gone for a week. I would recommend her to anyone - very caring and sweet! We were always kept up to date on our animals and their adventures with Hannah!”

About: Just a college kid missing my pets while at school and willing to give an abundant amount of attention to everyone else's. Have had dogs , among other animals, all my life. All of the dogs that I have owned have been on the bigger side so I have no problem handling large animals. I also volunteered at the MSPCA for a short amount of time walking and caring for dogs and other animals there. Have recently moved to Portland and am looking for some new dogs to walk and love! If you need someone to look after any kinds of pets, I’m you’re girl! Very comfortable with any animal whether it be furry, scaley, feathered. Or anything else. Look forward to meeting your pets!
“Candi was great to work with. This was my first time being apart from Zoey since I adopted her a year ago. Candi took time to get to know Zoey and bond with her enough that I felt comfortable leaving Zoey in her care. It was a great weight off my mind to know that Zoey would be well taken care of and comfortable while I was away. I can definitely recommend Candi and hope to turn to her again, many times in the future!”

“Geoffery has been caring for my pets for some time. I’ve added a couple more pets to the mix and Geoffery has been such a caring and compassionate pet sitter for every one of them. They look forward to seeing him when I’m away and that’s a huge comfort!”
“Once again Liseli provided us with a piece of mind knowing our beloved Elvis was being looked after with the same level of love and caring we would bestow upon him. And our house was also cared for as we would care for it- it was in perfect order when we returned. We feel so lucky to have found Liseli!!!!”

“Patricia cared for our elderly dog, Dunkin. She followed all our directions and took care to give him everything he needed. I'm sure he enjoyed going with her to her work and being in new places. We will definitely consider hiring her again.”

“Christi was a terrific house/pet sitter for us. She sent daily updates of activities and pictures of our cat, Lucy, and young golden retriever, Pepper. Pepper is a bit of a handful and Christi spent a lot of time with her on walks, car rides and clicker training. We really appreciated her efforts. The daily communications reassured us that our pets were in good hands. It was nice to see how Lucy snuggled right up to her. We were greeted by happy pets on our return and a tidy house. We highly recommend Christi for a pet sitter.”

Amanda was great! Our dog was happy upon meeting her and then super excited to see her when she came back to walk him. He can be a difficult dog to walk, lunging for sidewalk “scraps” or even at other dogs. She was in-tune with his emotions/behaviors, very capable. We would not hesitate to request to book Amanda again!
