1. Carla V.

“We were staying in an Airbnb out of state and were in need of a Pet Sitter for a family wedding and, after reading reviews, we found Carla. Carla came a few weeks before her scheduled time to stay with our golden doodle and we felt immediately at ease with her. She was easy to reach and communicative throughout the whole process. When the time came for her to watch our pup, she arrived in ample time so that we did not feel stressed about leaving on time. She immediately began playing with our dog. Throughout the stay she sent pics and we felt very at ease. Our pup was happy and had a lot of play time. Upon return, the house was clean, bed was stripped and everything was in order. If we were to return to the area, we would absolutely book Carla again in a heartbeat!”

2. Andrea W.

“The ABSOLUTE BEST DOG SITTER! Will never recommend anyone else after she watched our dogs for our wedding night this weekend and we were worried as we’ve never left them with a stranger before but oh my gosh I feel like my dogs liked her better than even I with the photos she sent me they were happy go lucky the entire time! Can not thank her enough!!”

3. Bohni K.

“Bohni was a treat on all levels!!! She stayed with my cat for 3 nights and 4 days.. I think my cat likes her more. The house was better than I left it.. Angel was calm and happy.. I was able to be away from her for the first time and feel confident in her STELLAR care.. if there were 10 stars she would get them all!!!!! Got photos all well everyday!!!! Happy customer”

4. Claire G.

“Claire was amazing. She took great care of my kitties and was happy to serve as a sofa for the older one. She sent me pictures every day! She left the house clean and the bed stripped. I would recommend her to everyone!”

6. Rose T.
“Rose has a good way with animals and my dogs both adore her. She has a calm but playful nature and her fun loving, long lasting energy has been a perfect fit for bonding with Gryff and Karat Cake. Rose is excellent at following instructions for feeding, treats, training, medications and any other special requests we have for caring for our pets.”

7. Ashley B.
About: I've owned dogs my whole life. I know how hard it is to leave your dog home during the day so I'm here to play with them or give them lots of love and exercise. I'm a student so I have flexible hours during the weekdays. During the weekends I have mostly unlimited availability. I'm happy to take your dog to the park or just on a walk around the block. I know everyone has preferences on what their dogs likes and does not like. I'm happy to accommodate anything, just ask. Above all I love dogs and would rather be with dogs than humans on any given day. They bring so much joy to my life! I'm so excited to meet your pups and spend time with them!

8. Marlowe G.

“Marlowe was wonderful. I could tell all of our boys were so loved up on while we were gone and so happy and healthy when we got back. Absolute gem!”

9. Annebelle B.

“Annabelle was great! Responsible, considerate, patient with my dog adjusting, and in communication.”

10. Hannah L.

“Hannah is extremely responsible and took excellent care of both my dog and my house. She is also very nice and a good communicator.”

11. Jill L.

“Jill was a godsend with my two Portuguese Water Dogs. They can have some anxiety/behavioral issues and she handled them with experience and ease. They were relaxed, calm, and happy when we returned from our trip. I feel very lucky to have found her on Rover and I hope that she is available the next time we go away.”

12. Geoffery O.

“Geoffery took great care of our dogs and farm animals!! We were away for two days for a family wedding and it was helpful leaving our dogs with someone we felt we could trust. Geoffery visited us to meet the dogs and learn how to take care of things a couple of weeks before he cared for them, which was good to ensure it would all work out. While we were gone we received a few updates, which was nice and reassuring, and when we got home our dogs were tired and happy! Geoffery had taken them on so many walks and made sure all their needs were met. We will definitely request to book again for our next family wedding!”

13. Susan D.
“At a stressful time when my family was preparing to move to another state, Susan D was a lifesaver! On several occasions she cared for our four month old toy poodle puppy. Our puppy greeted her joyously, including the first time they met! Susan D knew how to care for a young puppy and I always felt our Ruby was in kind ,safe and expert hands. Susan D is very reliable and punctual. I would recommend her unreservedly.”

14. Rory R.
About: I started off as the family pet and house sitter around when I turned fifteen. Since then I’ve had several wonderful cats live in my home and I’ve cared for friends and family’s pets any time they’ve needed. I have experience ranging in all ages from kitten/puppy range to senior care and have personally taken care of my own cat who suffered from epilepsy. I’m in the Maine area working in the Belfast area typically 7am to 3:30pm and will be available for care any times outside of that. If close enough to my work I can happily step out on my lunch breaks for additional walks and care. I like to maintain a very quiet and clean home and will treat your home with the same care and respect. As mentioned previously I have experience working with pets with health conditions and understand on a personal level the amount of care and attention needed.

15. Jordan M.
“You - or your pets! - could not ask for a better experience than having a walk, a feeding, or a visit from Jordan. She is considerate to your space, mindful of your four-legged friend(s), and communicative about any additional needs or issues that arise during her time. With years of experience caring for animals (those of her own + of others), Jordan is the caretaker you're looking for, may it be a one-time fill in or a long term part of you & your pet's routine!”

16. Jessica S.

“Jess was amazing. She took great care of my kitties (and my husband's seedlings) and the house was in great shape when we returned. Will definitely hire again!”

17. Sylvia T.
“I frequently bring my dogs into Lowes where Sylvia works part time and my dog seeks her out as she loves to see her and get loved, kissed and be given dog treats. She is great with dogs and I have also seen her interact with her own pets and she is superb with them. I highly recommend her to you and know that you won't be disappointed with adding her to your employ.”

18. Patricia S.

“Patricia cared for our elderly dog, Dunkin. She followed all our directions and took care to give him everything he needed. I'm sure he enjoyed going with her to her work and being in new places. We will definitely consider hiring her again.”

19. Ashleigh C.
“Ashleigh Is very dependable and responsible. I would trust her with anyone’s pets. She has had multiple dogs of her own and has taken care of many friends pets.”

20. Theresa P.
“Theresa spent alot of time helping care for my dog Koey. He was a sweet dog but not an easy one and I very much appreciated how evident her love of animals was and also her conscientiousness of how to interact with canine species. She was thoughtful and aware of his needs, giving him space but also directive and strong in her use of training techniques. I would highly recommend Theresa as a trusted dog walker and sitter for anyone seeking help caring for their animals.”
