About: Hi, I’m Lindsey! Over the past 25years, I’ve had the joy of caring for pets, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. I believe pets are family, and finding the right person to look after them while you’re away is crucial. I take this responsibility seriously and approach every pet with the same love and care I give to my own. Caring is embedded in my nature and when I'm not loving on my pets or caring for others fur babies, you can find me working as a nurse. In your home, I focus on maintaining the familiar routines and surroundings that keep your pets comfortable. I follow any specific instructions you provide and adapt to your pet's habits and preferences, ensuring they feel secure and loved. My experience has equipped me with the skills to accommodate a variety of needs, whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, or providing extra attention and care. Overall, my goal is to provide seamless care for your pet so they feel safe, secure and calm while their owner is away. Daily updates with pics or videos will be sent to ensure the owner feels safe, secure and calm while they are away as well! Prior to your departure, a plan for emergencies will be discussed and I will ensure I have all necessary phone numbers and contact information.

About: We are an active, animal-loving family! When your dog stays with us, they will get beach and trail walks, playtime in our fenced yard, and lots of love and attention. We have taken care of our own dogs and cats for decades, and have both been around them since we were children. We also have a 7-year-old daughter who has been raised around dogs since she was born. She loves them and is gentle and kind. Our dog Selkie is very well socialized and gets along with every dog she meets. Through the years, we have cared for many dogs and cats and other animals belonging to family and friends. We have also had great relationships with dog sitters who cared for our own pups, and we know that it can be nerve-wracking to leave your pet in the care of others, but that it can also be a really fun and positive experience for them. We both work from home and live close to a great dog beach and many trails. We are always with our own dog, and our flexible schedules let us tend to any dog's needs as they arise. Our dog Selkie loves to have visitors. Safety and security are a priority, and we are careful about traffic, unknown dogs and other hazards. We live on a quiet dead-end street and our backyard is securely fenced. We work from home, so we can keep a close eye on the pups. Our own dog is a very playful and friendly 18-pound mystery doodle, is well accustomed to all dogs, and loves company. She is one year old and is spayed. Because we have a small child and a small dog, we can only host dogs that are known to be good with children and other dogs.

About: Hello, I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am a very family and animal oriented person. Currently, I have a 3 year old lab mix male who is one of my kids ;) I like to take my dog for hikes anywhere along the Midcoast. My family also camps as much as we can. My dog is very friendly with all animals and kids, and loves to play with a buddy. I have spent time around dogs and cats mostly. I am a very friendly and reliable individual with a flexible schedule and car. I can travel to most areas in and around the Midcoast. I am available for overnight or daytime sitting in my home, but can travel depending on frequency and needs. My family and I would love to have your pet come stay with us! Thank you for your time! -Lindsay- I currently teach provide childcare in my home in the mornings Monday through Thursday. My husband gets home mid-afternoon. Our dog is outside all the time as we live on a 28 acre property that is off of a private road. We like to play with him and our kids rain or shine. Throwing sticks, tennis balls, digging in the dirt.. dog heaven here on our property! We have a 3 bedroom cabin type home in the woods here in Hope. 28 acres of private land and nature. Our dog is outside all the time off leash because we have tons of space around so it is safe for him. We love to run up and down our driveway with our lab and kids, throw sticks and tennis balls, and relax in the fresh air.

Dogs would get out for walks/yard time every few hours; cat box cleaned ditto. Feeding, play and light grooming throughout the day and evening as you specify. I work part-time in Camden, but am available AM, afternoons and PM. Typical visits prioritize potty needs, feeding/medicating and petting and play. Hanging out fun, too! I treat your pets as if they were my own. I let them set the parameters for play, touch and exercise. Bonding usually happens quickly!

About: Hi!! I grew up with dogs, a pit lab and a yorkie, and I used to clean dog kennels and feed them at the pope humane animal shelter! And I recently a few months ago did a two week house sitting/ dog sitting job! I am a huge fan of dogs :) I’m a recent college student who has always just wanted to take care of people’s pets while at college, unfortunately it’s much more difficult up there, but now I’m home and I get the chance to see others pets more easily! It fits in super well currently, I’m available usually 24/7 just need to know at least a few days in advance! I make sure that I keep my eye on animals, especially puppies/kittens. I know they can be all over the place, I like to stick near them and make sure I have available numbers in case something were to go wrong.

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs of every kind since I was at a young age of 12 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to care for them while away from home. Whether you are on vacation, a holiday weekend away or just simply stuck at work and need someone to check in, feed them, walk them, play with them or would just like some company, your fur baby(s) will be in the best care with me. I’m currently working a full time job but am available anytime after 4pm Mon.-Sat. I am also available all day from 10am-8pm on Tuesdays as I have that day off from my current job. If scheduling falls on a day it snows I cannot make promises to any accommodations as traveling may be difficult for me. My pets are not just animals to me. They are my children because they are family. I provide full understanding of adjusting any accommodations for owners and their pets comfortability and safety. As that is my biggest wish when it comes my own pets, it would only be fair to offer that same transparency to my clients. Whether I send updated photos/videos of your pet(s) while in my care or asked to not use certain words or commands that may trigger any stress or anxiety to the pet, or would prefer me taking them on private walks rather than any public places that may have children or other dogs/animals, if being around either may trigger any stress or anxiety to you or your fur animal(s). I ask for full transparency from my clients as you and your pets safety and comfortability is utmost importance to me.
