About: Dog care shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg! Whether you’re going on vacation or need some help after surgery, I’m more than happy to do anything and everything in between to help you and your pup(s) during your time of need! I work Mondays and Tuesdays 11p-7a so I can check in on pets late at night or early in the morning! Wednesday through Sunday I *only* do Rover, so I can focus on helping pet parents. I make sure to ask clarifying questions during meet and greets, then follow them to the T during visits in the future. Chores are done first if needed (cleaning litter box, letting out pups, food/water, etc) which I try to keep to under 10 minutes in order to give the majority of my time to the pet and spending time with them.

About: I have yet to meet someone who can out-dog-person me! Dogs are the best part of life. I have a German Shepherd and an English Pointer who face the brunt of my dog voice, personalized jingles, etc., - but out of respect for their patience I'm offering my services to other dogs! I have experience ranging from potty training new puppies to distributing meds to senior dogs and caring for them post-operation. I love to bring my dogs (and yours) on outdoor adventures in our midcoast community - hiking, swimming, lounging in the sun, and breaking out the snowshoes for winter. We'll wear each other out! I work at a public school and am a grad student, so I have lots of flexibility during the summer months and school vacations when folks tend to need travel care for their dogs. I'm a grad student and an educator at a public school - so I have school vacations (including summers) off. I have great availability on weekends and after 3:30 every day. I live in a small house with two big dogs (one being a senior hound), which is why I don't offer care for your pets at my own home. I will utilize whatever safety plans you put in place when I care for your pet - whether you have a dog that's great in your fenced-in backyard or a flight-risk that needs to be harnessed and leashed.

“Jill was a godsend with my two Portuguese Water Dogs. They can have some anxiety/behavioral issues and she handled them with experience and ease. They were relaxed, calm, and happy when we returned from our trip. I feel very lucky to have found her on Rover and I hope that she is available the next time we go away.”

About: Just a college kid missing my pets while at school and willing to give an abundant amount of attention to everyone else's. Have had dogs , among other animals, all my life. All of the dogs that I have owned have been on the bigger side so I have no problem handling large animals. I also volunteered at the MSPCA for a short amount of time walking and caring for dogs and other animals there. Have recently moved to Portland and am looking for some new dogs to walk and love! If you need someone to look after any kinds of pets, I’m you’re girl! Very comfortable with any animal whether it be furry, scaley, feathered. Or anything else. Look forward to meeting your pets!
