About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

“We were away visiting family for a month and it was the first time in a long time that someone besides a good friend of mine stayed at our house with our 3 cats. Of course I was a bit nervous with having a new sitter but Jill quickly put my concerns at bay. She was wonderful with communicating and sending photos of the cats so I was ensured that they were getting great care. Jill was also fantastic with keeping me up to date on other house issues. When we returned home, despite her being there for a month, the place looked like nothing had happened! Jill left the house so clean and had also take very good care of the outside areas. We could not have been more pleased and grateful with her stay and help!”

About: I have had dogs since !0 and cats since 6. Have to admit I am more of a Dog guy though Cats Tolerate me. (Joke)... I have trained several dogs in my life two of which I worked with Sarah Hodgson who wrote "puppies for Dummies". Learned so much from her about dogs and found myself helping many of my family and friends over the years train their dogs. I am knowledgeable and am exited to learn more about each every one of my clients Fur babies. I promise you that I will learn I can about your special family member to give them the staycation that they deserve. I work as a teacher so I am able to do over nights, though I am not able to do mid day bathroom breaks. The dogs that I care for must be able to go 8 hours for a bathroom break. I will of course be taking them out before I leave for work and go directly home from school to relieve them. I have a my sweet dog under voice command, a small fenced in area and take for walks. I do not provide boarding. when I am sitting she stays with family or if requested is incredible with other dogs and children. she goes with me anywhere. though she is old enough now that she never feels left out staying with family. (haha)

About: My name is Molly and I am an Ed Tech/BHP with availability and energy in the summer months. I have a four year old son and a ten year old dog, Zoe. Also popular in our household are Gracie, the seven year old bearded dragon, and Gus, the beta fish. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: Hello, I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am a very family and animal oriented person. Currently, I have a 3 year old lab mix male who is one of my kids ;) I like to take my dog for hikes anywhere along the Midcoast. My family also camps as much as we can. My dog is very friendly with all animals and kids, and loves to play with a buddy. I have spent time around dogs and cats mostly. I am a very friendly and reliable individual with a flexible schedule and car. I can travel to most areas in and around the Midcoast. I am available for overnight or daytime sitting in my home, but can travel depending on frequency and needs. My family and I would love to have your pet come stay with us! Thank you for your time! -Lindsay- I currently teach provide childcare in my home in the mornings Monday through Thursday. My husband gets home mid-afternoon. Our dog is outside all the time as we live on a 28 acre property that is off of a private road. We like to play with him and our kids rain or shine. Throwing sticks, tennis balls, digging in the dirt.. dog heaven here on our property! We have a 3 bedroom cabin type home in the woods here in Hope. 28 acres of private land and nature. Our dog is outside all the time off leash because we have tons of space around so it is safe for him. We love to run up and down our driveway with our lab and kids, throw sticks and tennis balls, and relax in the fresh air.
