âGillian was attentive and patient with our dog. As always, she was wonderfully communicative and extremely eager to make sure my wife and I, as well as our dog, were comfortable.â

âAmanda did a great job, sent many pictures and updates and was very clear about her availability ahead of time! Came home to a clean space and a well taken care of kitty. We were lucky to have her!â

âLiz (& Charlie) did a great job with Nellie, our 5.5 month old mini goldendoodle. We did a meet and greet a couple weeks before, which was super helpful. They handled energetic Nellie with a full house (2 toddlers, 1 other dog, and a babysitter) and got her to sleep happily :). Will definitely look forward to another play date!â

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.
âHayleigh was so attentive to our dogs and their individual needs. She was great at communicating while we were gone. Hayleigh even made an extra trip to our house to meet the dogs and learn about their daily routine. I will definitely be booking her in the future and recommend her to any dog parent!â

âWe were away visiting family for a month and it was the first time in a long time that someone besides a good friend of mine stayed at our house with our 3 cats. Of course I was a bit nervous with having a new sitter but Jill quickly put my concerns at bay. She was wonderful with communicating and sending photos of the cats so I was ensured that they were getting great care. Jill was also fantastic with keeping me up to date on other house issues. When we returned home, despite her being there for a month, the place looked like nothing had happened! Jill left the house so clean and had also take very good care of the outside areas. We could not have been more pleased and grateful with her stay and help!â

About: I have had dogs since !0 and cats since 6. Have to admit I am more of a Dog guy though Cats Tolerate me. (Joke)... I have trained several dogs in my life two of which I worked with Sarah Hodgson who wrote "puppies for Dummies". Learned so much from her about dogs and found myself helping many of my family and friends over the years train their dogs. I am knowledgeable and am exited to learn more about each every one of my clients Fur babies. I promise you that I will learn I can about your special family member to give them the staycation that they deserve. I work as a teacher so I am able to do over nights, though I am not able to do mid day bathroom breaks. The dogs that I care for must be able to go 8 hours for a bathroom break. I will of course be taking them out before I leave for work and go directly home from school to relieve them. I have a my sweet dog under voice command, a small fenced in area and take for walks. I do not provide boarding. when I am sitting she stays with family or if requested is incredible with other dogs and children. she goes with me anywhere. though she is old enough now that she never feels left out staying with family. (haha)
âgwendolyn was absolutely perfect for our greyhound. She arrived early and completely made us feel comfortable leaving Saber in our hotel room with her. Gwendolyn has a warm personality and is trustworthy and reliable and great with our dog. We would certainly use her again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.â

About: Hi, Iâm Lindsey! Over the past 25years, Iâve had the joy of caring for pets, and itâs been an incredibly rewarding experience. I believe pets are family, and finding the right person to look after them while youâre away is crucial. I take this responsibility seriously and approach every pet with the same love and care I give to my own. Caring is embedded in my nature and when I'm not loving on my pets or caring for others fur babies, you can find me working as a nurse. I'm currently the owner of a special needs dog and feel comfortable caring for those pets that need a little extra care. Ask me about my pet wedding service I offer! As a nurse, I have a flexible schedule that allows me the freedom to have days off with no work obligations so I can give my full attention to caring for your pet. I know that ensuring your pet has a safe environment with someone they trust is of utmost importance, so a meet and greet prior to confirming services is required. I tailor my approach based on the unique needs of each pet and their owner. When caring for pets in my home, I offer a safe and comfortable environment with ample space to play, opportunities to potty and protected sleep space. My pets are used to a structured environment, which allows them + visiting pets to settle into the new arrangement with ease. In your home, I focus on maintaining the familiar routines and surroundings that keep your pets comfortable. I follow any specific instructions you provide and adapt to your pet's habits and preferences, ensuring they feel secure and loved. My experience has equipped me with the skills to accommodate a variety of needs, whether itâs sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, or providing extra attention and care. Overall, my goal is to provide seamless care for your pet so they feel safe, secure and calm while their owner is away. Daily updates with pics or videos will be sent to ensure the owner feels safe, secure and calm while they are away as well! Prior to your departure, a plan for emergencies will be discussed and I will ensure I have all necessary phone numbers and contact information.
âGeoffery has been caring for my pets for some time. Iâve added a couple more pets to the mix and Geoffery has been such a caring and compassionate pet sitter for every one of them. They look forward to seeing him when Iâm away and thatâs a huge comfort!â
âLiseli is one of the nicest people I have met. My dog Jessey absolutely loved her from the moment she stepped in the door. Sheâs a fabulous communicator and incredibly neat. Perfect dogsitting experience! Thanks, Liseli!â

âWe got lucky to find Caitlin available as I scrambled to find last minute care for our 11 week old puppies. She sat them two days in a row for a total of 14 hours in our home. We recommend her to everyone. Great personality, excellent communication, and she can give you home styling on the side! Yay.â

About: My name is Molly and I am an Ed Tech/BHP with availability and energy in the summer months. I have a four year old son and a ten year old dog, Zoe. Also popular in our household are Gracie, the seven year old bearded dragon, and Gus, the beta fish. This summer, I have an especially flexible schedule, but am happy to support you and your petâs needs all year around. Although it is not my primary career focus, I have been involved in pet care for 20 years as a source of outside income and great passion. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss things further and determine if I would be a good fit for your pet family. I am currently working during the day, but am available in then afternoons or for boarding. I have summers off and would be available all day/week for walks, hikes, swims, playtime, and long term stays. My dog stays in the yard at the end of our private road. I adhere to the ownerâs instructions for their petâs safety while outdoors.
âErin did an amazing job with my fur babies. Would absolutely book her again! My house was clean and she washed bedding! She also did a lot of shoveling snow while we were away! So appreciative of all she did!â

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
âShe did a great job with my two boys. She communicate daily and even took the time to do somethings I told her on how to extra spoil them. I can honestly after a few years of trying I've finally found someone I trust dog/housesit.â
